Complaint: I filed a chapter XXXX bankruptcy on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. We had a hearing on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. To figure payment to creditors and that totaled {$2400.00} a month as well as {$1500.00} mortgage payment. I had to submit a payment on the XXXX for {$2400.00}. My case was continued to XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Because I filed on XXXX XXXX, XXXX I was expected to submit another payment of {$2400.00}. Which was only 2 weeks from first payment. I am currently employed at XXXX XXXX and am a single mother to XXXX children. XXXX of whom is special needs, On XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I opened my home to a family displaced due to transitional housing cut backs.One person in that family has health issues and a XXXX. Due to this forclosure XXXX families became homeless during the Holidays and the cold of winter.. I have aquired my home with my husband during our marriage XXXX years ago, and seperated from him in XXXX. We are now going thru a XXXX, I originally left our home and rented a home with my XXXX XXXX XXXX daughter. We were evicted due to violent outbursts and destroying rental property by my XXXX XXXX son. Who is XXXX XXXX XXXX and very disruptive. He is a habitual XXXX caller. I returned back home to save it due to my husband unable to make house payment. I came back to a house that was destroyed.We had no water and no heat, and alot of damage. It took me 8 months to make the house livable again. After only 12 months me and my childrens home was sold at auction on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. What makes it so devastating was that I was never even notified of the sale date. Or given a chance to try at all costs to secure and save our home for my kids. The new owner just appeared on my doorstep unannounced on XXXX XXXX, XXXX at XXXX. She was threatening to evict me, and I had no idea that the mortgage company had even auctioned off my home. Because XXXX XXXX had accepted 2 payments in last 5 months, and then without notice sold my home out from under me. I can not rent due to my son and the eviction on my record. And now I have no idea what to do.

Complaint: Selene Finance a debt collector took advantage of me several times. Twice that I know of they taken money from me on 2 modifications and increased my mortgage payment to a higher amount. Over a few years with Selene Finance my mortgage jumped up to XXXX more towards my debt. After years fighting with this company they ended up selling my mortgage to a lender called XXXX XXXX. Honestly this company is doing really nothing for me as well. What can I do now do fix my mortgage and get myself on track again? Please email me at XXXXXXXXXXXX

Complaint: I am attempting to have a letter of reaffirmation put into my current open bankruptcy case. My current mortgage is with XXXX XXXX. The problem is is I have been attempting to have this letter of reaffirmation sent to my lawyer since XXXX XXXX. I 'm hoping that filing this complaint will expediate the process so I may close the case because this is the only thing that I 'm waiting for to close the bankruptcy case. I have been told on many occasions that I will be contacted, I will be emailed and I will have my phone calls returned none of this has happened! It is of paramount urgency that I get this letter of reaffirmation put it in my file before the courts decide to close the case without it. If that happens, I will have to pay re-opening fee to have the letter put into my file.

Complaint: My home and livelihood were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy which led to me falling behind on my mortgage. I have spent the last couple of years going back and forth with my current mortgage lender Selene Finance trying to resolve this matter but instead of working with me they are pushing me to foreclosure with a sale date set for XXXX XXXX. At this time, I am caring for my ex-husband who is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also care for an adult son with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I dont want to have my house taken from me and my family put on the street because my mortgage lender will not work with me or give me the time of day. I have owned my house for 17 years and worked as a nurse for 25 years but began working as a realtor during the mortgage boom years. Even with the recession I was still able to keep up with the bills but then when Hurricane Sandy hit my home was so damaged that there were repairs that needed to be completed immediately to keep the place inhabitable. Due to the overwhelming number of insurance claims, it took YEARS to get our claim processed and by the time they got to our claim the claim company had shut down. At the same time, my real estate business was suffering and I could not keep up with the mortgage payment and defaulted a few years ago when the loan was with XXXX. I have tried repeatedly to resolve this and then the loan was transferred to Selene. I was approved for a government assistance program that required Selene Finance to review and sign off but their agents dragged their feet and basically ignored this assistance offer and then told me I had to do a short sale. Before I could respond or accept this outcome they set a foreclosure sale date. When Hurricane Sandy came through this area it devastated home 's and home values. A portion of our roof was blown off, our foundation was damaged, there was seepage in the basement, etc. This was a true disaster, and that is why I became delinquent on my mortgage because I had to keep my home in livable condition. As I described I take care of my ex-husband ( take him to doctor etc. ) who is XXXX, XXXX and an XXXX and a XXXX military veteran. I have an adult son who suffers from sickle cell XXXX and I care for him as well, and have my XXXX and XXXX daughters in the household. I am back on my feet financially as a realtor and receive XXXX benefits for my family. Due to the increasing income from my self-employment I am in a much better place and able to afford a reasonable mortgage payment. My concern is that the agents of Selene are denying me access to government, internal and state programs that I may qualify for. I already was approved for a state assistance program but their agents kicked the can down the road and ignored the paperwork that was provided. I continually tried to reach my assigned contact, but it was impossible to get any type of response or call back. I was constantly in limbo. I received a letter stating that I had turned down the option of short sale or deed in lieu. That is not true, it appears to just be justification so that Selene can try and auction off my home.. Selene has not allowed me the option of being reviewed for any programs nor have they given me a chance to go through mediation as required by the state of New Jersey. My voice deserves to be heardthis problem could have been solved if Selene would have accepted the state program I was qualified for but instead they are denying me access and trying to auction my home.

Complaint: This is the THIRD COMPLAINT I have had to file against Selene Finance, whoever they are! Their continual lies in their responses baffles me! Once again they have lied about my representation! I guess no one there can read a court case because it lists my attorney THROUGHOUT the whole case and it is NOT and has NEVER BEEN the Green Law Firm so do n't tell me to have them do anything! I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN REPRESENTED BY THEM, GET SOMEONE WHO CAN READ! When you find someone who is competent enough to read the court case maybe they can see where my attorney WITHDREW A YEAR AGO! I AM NOT REPRESENTED BY AN ATTORNEY AT THIS POINT, but with all the lies your company is espousing, I will have to hire one! You completely ignored my certified letter so that will show how you have blatantly lied and ignored all my attempts to make you tell the truth about this case! I will keep filing these complaints so the court will have a record of the lies you have told and how you have STILL not provided the required LEGAL DOCUMENTS TO ME! I STILL can prove you have NEVER contacted ME and your complete disregard for the information I have told you TIME AND TIME AGAIN! READ THE COURT CASE AND MY CERTIFIED LETTER TO YOU before you try to answer with more lies! Since you have simply substituted your name for XXXX 's I am not sure that the Supreme Court case that they lost does not apply to you! When you find that person that can read you better find that case and STUDY IT!

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX Selene Finance approved me to start the modification process by paying {$1000.00} per month. I made on time payments for the month ofXX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. Selene sent me a letter datedXX/XX/XXXX that my XX/XX/XXXX payment is being returned as the payment is less than the amount required to cure the default on your loan. So I called the Loan Resolution Department and they stated that I would need to pay 3 months of payments. It was not clearly communicated what would happen to my home. The Loan Resolution representative I spoke to on XX/XX/XXXX left me not knowing the outcome, but stated he would send out the modification paperwork to me. But as of today XX/XX/XXXX I have not received. Please look into this matter as soon as possible. I am a XXXX of 1 year ago and the added stress is not good for my health.. My second complaint is on my mortgage history datedXX/XX/XXXX there is a large ( which appears to be a second mortgage ). have not refinanced my home at all. Please have Selene explain where this originated. Thank you for your timely response.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I started the process for a XXXX XXXX on my property. Beginning of XXXX XXXX we submitted the initial offer on the property for {$180000.00} and an interior XXXX was ordered by the servicer ( Selene Finance ) on behalf of the investor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). On XXXX XXXX we received a counter offer for {$260000.00} from XXXX XXXX ( negotiator ) assigned to the file. On XX/XX/17 we submitted a buyer counter offer for {$230000.00} with a net amount of {$210000.00}. On XXXX XXXX we received a counter offer from XXXX XXXX again with a net amount of {$220000.00} requesting a response by XX/XX/17. On XXXX XXXX we submitted a buyer 's counter for {$230000.00} and lower the realtor commission to XXXX % to make the deal work with total net amount of {$210000.00}. On XXXX XXXX we received a response from XXXX XXXX advising us that the offer was declined by the investor and the only option given was a XXXX XXXX XXXX. on XXXX XXXX we submitted a new buyer counter offer for {$240000.00} with a net amount of {$220000.00} and received a response on XX/XX/17 that the offer did not met the investor request of {$220000.00} net requested. On XX/XX/17 a new buyer offer for {$250000.00} with a net amount of {$220000.00} was submitted for investor 's review. on XX/XX/17 the investor requested to have an insurance claim completed on the property, the insurance claim was filed and completed. The insurance claim was submitted to investor on XX/XX/17. On XXXX XXXX the investor ordered a new interior XXXX because the previous XXXX has expired and the new one was completed XX/XX/17.After the new XXXX came back, I received a response to let me know that now the investor wants {$100000.00} more for a total of {$320000.00} net based on the " AS REPAIRED value of the property ''. This is a clear malpractice and abuse that some of the mortgage investor 's are doing regardless of the financial situation of the mortgagee. This type of abuse must be stopped by our federal government and any investor doing such practice must penalized. The investor is abusing their position and taking advantage of the customer.

'' This is my third request for Selene Finance to clarify their relationship to XXXX aka XXXX that XXXX XXXX made references to in her letter dated XXXX XXXX. Since Selene Finance failed to provide an explanation to their relations/affiliations with XXXX, I have contacted XXXX XXXX City Registry ( XXXX ) and XXXX.
