Complaint: I purchased two mattresses ( one for myself & one for my husband XX/XX/18. The contract to an amt of XXXX These were NOT any over the top mattress ; but two pillow tops-which we did not order ; but they shipped and said we had to accept. The payments were to be XXXX each month. We paid every payment on time until : our bank account was hit by a false check. I went to the XXXX XXXX and paid a fee of {$10.00} to keep from me being have to pay a late feel. I went the bank and came back immediately with the XXXX in cash. They did not return my $ XXXX or apply it to the account. Some 3 months later my husband was in the hospital and I had to pay the same fee again. After that we needed to take care of him and that made me a day late. The next we heard was that we were being taken to court ; unless we paid off the account. At that time we were exactly two payments from completely the account. They wanted it all on the same day or nothing else was acceptable. I have bought from them 3-4 different times and all paid out in full with no issues. They have already put this on my account for all to see ; and want more money including {$63.00} for an attorney they are using. If you look at the full list of everything done during this period ; it comes to a paid in full. But they refuse. XXXX XXXX I am sending a copy of the documents that are on this amount due.

Complaint: I have autopay set up with Care Credit, but instead of withdrawing the agreed-upon amount they withdrew the entire debt. I have called them multiple times and they are reluctant to help me. They said that I have to wait for the money to clear before they will even do anything. However, the debt is larger than the total value of the account and I will end up having a negative balance.

Complaint: XX/XX/2019 I financed a mattress from Matress Firm via Synchrony credit. I never received a card in the mail. My payments were due starting in XX/XX/XXXX. I have had to call each month to request a card. XX/XX/XXXXI called and they said a new card was issued. I am unable to set up an online account because without the physical card they say they can not provide that information over the phone. It is now XX/XX/2019 I still did not receive my card. I called again and the rep said a card was issued in XX/XX/XXXX. So every time I have called they have done NOTHING. I cant see any information about my account and I feel like they are running a scam because its been 4 months and as the consumer I cant see anything thats not right

Complaint: Synchrony Bank Bought PayPal Credit & Close my account for not using it. This knocked 75 POINTS off my 800+ Credit Score!!! Never once was I notified that if I DIDNT use the card in a certain amount of time that they would CLOSE My Account & RUIN My Credit!!! The company REFUSES to Reopen my ace & says that theres NOTHING that they can do about it. I want this blemish removed from my credit score.

Complaint: Had accident and was in hospital and later XXXX. PayPal. May have been trying to reach me during this time when I was hospitalized or when I was later at home under heavy medication. On the sister account, they had me listed as deceased. I tried to make payment on my account and could not. On XX/XX/XXXX I called again and was told my account was charged off that same day and pending sold to a collection agency. I tried to persuade the company to let me settle my account but they told me to call back in 72 hrs to find out where my account was sold. The account was for about {$290.00}. I dont want to get negative credit for that when I tried to pay.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2014 a XXXX XXXX credit card account was opened thorough Banana Republic in Puerto Rico. After opening the account with a representative in XXXX she told me I would be receiving my card in the mail and specifically periodic statement. Something that never occurred, Since this bank doesn't have any presence in Puerto Rico, I've proceeded to go to the store were they told me to contact the bank. Finally after contacting the bank ( to see balance pending and were to make a payment ) all pending balance was paid in full, it was explained to the service representative that no card or statement arrived and that any late fee should be waived. Specifically due to the fact that no statement was received. I also proceeded to indicate I wanted the account closed. Currently my credit report reflect inaccurate and misleading information on the report. Specifically regarding a pass due amount of and delinquency that did not occurred. I strongly believe this practices are contrary to FCRA requirements.

Complaint: I wanted to submit an application for XXXX 's Credit Card using the link XXXX XXXX XXXX and when I saw the terms and conditions at https : //apply.syf.com/cs/groups/public/documents/et_tcdoc/e048003.pdf, I could not find the 'Annual Fee ' amount listed anywhere. I sent XXXX an email on XX/XX/XXXX with the content as " Annual Fee clause is missing in the Rates and Fees table and the Terms and Conditions page too. Please add the same ''. I got a reply as " The XXXX Credit Card is administered by Synchrony Bank. '' I felt the service was very subpar and unsatisfactory. Kindly intervene and have them include the Annual Fee rates in the terms and conditions please.

Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: [ The Operator had closed my account without warning ] I had received my Paypal credit card in the mail, but left it in the envelope along side with some other mail and have not not activate the Paypal credit card yet. After a while the whole envelope with the Paypal credit card inside, had gotten lost somewhere In my house. After searching for it, I assumed it could have been swept up and thrown away unintentionally. I wasn't too worried about it because I haven't activated it at all and thought I could just call Paypal and send in another one. I called Paypal later on and requested a new Paypal credit card. The customer service was great, they understood what happened and they were happy to send me an operator to my line to get me a new card. However, the operator ( which I believed sounded like a female. ) sent the new card and told me that my new card is on the way and it will take around 7-10 business days to arrive in the mail. She then told me that my account will be closed unless I wanted to created a new one, ( which it sounded like it meant create a new email address and user profile and etc. ) because my credit card has been " lost/stolen '' She persuaded I close the account instead. After the phone call, I wondered what she meant by my account being closed, so I went ahead and logged back into my Paypal account. I saw that I was able to still access my account and It looked like I was still able to make money transfers too. But then I saw that I could no longer see my credit card overview or click on anything to check it's statements. Few days later I get a XXXX notification on my phone from XXXX XXXX. I was curious and was in no worry because I always check my report frequently, pay my debt on time, and make sure that I'm maintaining my score at good standing, so I wasn't worried at all when I saw my notification ... Until I click the XXXX XXXX log in link and signed in and view my new credit report number ... I was terrified, worried, stressed, you name it. It went from around XXXX to XXXX! To good to straight BAD. dropping 96 points! I was so stressed and scared and confused. I clicked on it's summary and saw that it says " 2 accounts closed ''. I know I have 2 accounts. One for Paypal credit and one for XXXX XXXX credit. I knew that my Paypal account was closed because the Paypal operator closed it. But the XXXX XXXX being closed is a far deeper mystery. I will contact XXXX XXXX and see what's going on with that. Whenever I tried shopping with my XXXX XXXX credit, it will always decline for some reason every time. But.. two closed accounts ... dropped my credit score. After I researched on XXXX by typing " closed account on credit report '' It shows that closing accounts damages your credit. So after seeing that, I realized that the female operator on the phone, pretty much closed my account on Paypal, with no information. No warning. No consent. And when she done it, I thought it was just part of her protocol. But I feel like she could have at least allow me to say yes or no without persuading me or most importantly give me warning. But my new Credit Card is coming in the mail soon and according to her, once it arrives everything should be where I left off as far as payments and things. But, basically right now, I'm just requesting for my points back to get me back smooth sailing again and have everything back to normal. Right now I am very stressed out about this and I really need help, please! -Thank you so much in advance!

Complaint: On Saturday, XXXX XXXX, 2019, at XXXX XXXX I applied to Sams club- Synchrony Bank for a credit card to take advantage of a XXXX credit on a purchase for applying. This morning XXXX-2019 I received a denial letter-email with reason for denial ( Existing account with our credit program. I called and verified I have no Sams club master card. And in fact I have a Lowes card a paypal credit account and a amazon account all in great standing. My problem is I have a hard pull for what I was told a mistake on their part and was told to submit another application and get another hard pull. That is not acceptable not to mention I am going to be billed full amount for monitor I bought. I have a excellent credit score and this is just wrong on so many levels

Complaint: I writing about my Paypal Credit account, on my XXXX statement it says within the payment information section that I would avoid interest if I paid XXXX, I paid XXXX but was still charged interest. The reason I was charged interest was due to how they applied the payment. I just thought it was misleading to say if you pay XXXX you would avoid interest and then you pay more than that and still get charged interest. For me to have actualy avoided interest I would have needed to pay 2300 to 2400 based on how they applied the payment. I know why the interest was charged I just find it very misleading to have a section of the statement say " to avoid interest pay XXXX '' and that not really be the case at all.
