Complaint: I Opened an Amazon Credit Card account and received the card. Problem is Amazon tacked on an unauthorized {$14.00} Prime Membership fee which I did not request. I called them and requested this be removed and they promised to do so. They asked that I call back in once again but honestly, since I already spent almost 2 hours on the phone with them, I see no reason to call team again. I need a refund as soon as possible and for them to reduce my balance accordingly. I never received the Prime Membership either so they are stealing. Thank You, XXXX XXXX

Complaint: This is the 2nd complaint that I've filed against this company for the same issue. I have promotional balances with expiration dates. # 1 They never apply the payments there. I have to call and ask them to manually move payments, which is not right because they will charge me the full interest on the original purchase amount if it's not paid off by the date. For the past two months I have called and asked for allocations of my payments. Each time I was told that my remaining balance for the promotion ending XX/XX/2019 would be {$110.00}. I paid {$110.00}. But, the promotional balance is still showing as {$50.00}. When I called today to speak to a supervisor about it, I spoke with XXXX. She advised that twice the customer service agents gave me the wrong amount, but there was nothing they could do about it. Care Credit is for medical/dental/veterinarian services and I feel like this company tries real hard to charge people as much interest as possible. It is truly a labor on the part of the consumer to make sure that Care Credit doesn't rip them off.

Complaint: Synchrony Bank reduced the credit limits on my cards without notice to me. I called and was informed that I'd be receiving a letter outlining why this action was taken. I asked for the contact information for Synchrony corporate and was told by several supervisor 's that there wasn't a number to call because corporate doesn't want upset consumers contacting them. Because Synchrony reduce my credit limits by more than half it reduced my credit score by a large margin. The one letter I received stated my limits were reduced because I didn't have a verified estate loan. I've always paid my bills on time, never missed any payments

Complaint: I have a Lowes Consumer Advantage credit card run by Synchrony Bank. On XX/XX/19, I made a large purchase of a set of windows totaling {$840.00} using a promotion marketed as 6 months special financing. The deferred interest terms can be found on this web page : https : //www.lowes.com/l/Credit/special-financing-tandc.html I spend many thousands of dollars of purchases every year at Lowes so this was one of my many purchases ; however, I normally pay my Lowes credit card balance off in full every month in order to avoid interest. However, after making this special financing purchase, I called Lowes ' credit card customer service to verify how much I needed to pay every month in order to avoid any interest charges and was told that I could pay the full statement balance less the purchase amount for the windows, which is {$840.00} ( unless the only thing I owed was for the windows, in which case only the minimum payment would apply ). So, this is exactly what I did. The first bill I received due XXXX, there were no interest charges. However, with the second bill I received due XXXX, there was a small amount of interest charged. I called Lowes credit card customer service again for an explanation, and there was no real clear explanation given, just that " credit card companies charge interest - that's how it works '' LOL. I am a XXXX XXXX by profession so I have a full understanding of how interest works. It seems to me that Lowes is charging interest based on the additional interest I would have accrued if I didn't pay this {$840.00} balance off in 6 months, the amount described in the statement as " Balance Subject to Interest Rate '', which grew to {$860.00}. Although the amount of interest was small, I am reporting this as fraudulent credit card company activity because it seems they are charging and collecting interest based on a future projected balance, which is unethical and unfair to unsuspecting consumers. If this is not where the interest is coming from, then I don't know where it is coming from since I paid the rest of my balance off in full.

Complaint: Applied for a CareCredit card for a medical procedure. On their website it states you have two options to pay. 0 % at different terms like 6 month, 12 month, 24 month, etc or 24 months offer with a 14.90 % APR, a 36 months offer with a 15.90 % APR or a 48 months offer with a 16.90 % APR. Purchases of {$2500.00} or more may be eligible for a 60 months offer with a 17.90 % APR. When I called to select 0 % for 24 month period they said they have nothing to do with setting the terms the doctor office does. The information on the rates is buried in the disclosure information at the bottom of the page and does not appropriately explain that you need to contact the doctor or what ever medical institution you are doing business with to see what terms you will be offered. Therefore ; because I did not understand this and the way it is explained on their website they are not transparent in how the rate will be determined and that you should check with the medical entity to understand what rate you will be charged. To me I find this to be bate and switch as to what they are offering. Had I known upfront and understood that I would be stuck with interest rates of something between 15.9 % to 17.90 % I would have made other arrangements for payment at a lower rate through a different financial institution. This needs to be made clear on their website that the doctor 's office determines the rate. Also, the call center you call into is offshore so you can barely understand what they are saying and the client service was horrible. Complaint: I purchased a pair of boots online using Paypal services. The boots arrived damaged and not as described ( big size and extremely poor quality ). I immediately got in touch with a seller but they ignored my requests to refund. I contacted Paypal and shipped the boots back the next day. After I have provided the tracking number but Paypal came back and said that the tracking number is untrackable. I went back to USPS and they pulled the receipt and let me know that the item was delivered a month ago. Paypal refuse to refund my money. I still have the receipt from USPS which sent to Paypal. Please help me to resolve my issue.

Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX a syncrony bank care credit card was opened up. There was only 1 charge made to that card in the amount of {$3800.00} this card offered a promotion for no interest for 24 months. I have been making payments every month and on time. Upon reviewing the statement I had noticed that there were numerous purchase that were made that I did not do. Nor did my husband do who is the primary account holder. I immediately contacted syncrony bank and advised them of these fraudulant charges. The account was closed and new cards were issued ( which I would like to also state that the new cards they sent us at first were closed accounts ) we were told that they closed the accounts completely on us. I complained that that is not right to do as we did not cause these fraudulant charges and why should we be penalized? They eventually sent us another set of cards which are open ( but I don't no that for a fact because we have not made any purchase on these new cards ). They tell us now that the account is back open. It has been a horror show since this happened. My balance is completely incorrect and they are arguing with me that my balance is {$1400.00} when the balance should be {$970.00}. I have spent numerous hours and days on the phone with them being transferred to different departments. Customer service, then on hold then to the investigation unit, then on hold then to the fraud department then on hold then back to customer service. Hours upon hours and days upon days trying to resolve this issue. I have been given incorrect information as well many different times. In addition to this my minimum payment has always been {$160.00} per month as the balance goes down so should the minimum payment however I was told at one time that I had a minimum payment of {$400.00}. I have been running circles with this bank and it is has gotten to the point where I am completely fustrated. Today XX/XX/XXXX I called again to try and retify this and explained with one purcahse and making all the minimum payments and sometimes more than the minimum it's very simple to understand what my balance is being there is no interest on this card. I was told there are interest fees and late fees accessed to the account ( which should not be because I was also told in the beginging not to make any payments until the investgation is complete ) ( 3 months ) and they promised not to charge any late fees. I made sure of this but they still did. Even reversing the interest that shouldnt have been charged and reversing the late fees still leaves the balance incorrect. Upon being fustrated and getting all types of different answers I wish to complain about this bank. I was also told at one point that the credit reporting agency called them and told them the whole account is fraud. I told them no I never said that. I immediately called XXXX and asked why they did that and was told from XXXX they do not make calls to banks and report this. I am beyond aggravated as I want to pay this bill off and get rid of it already but not at an incorrect balance. I would also like to note my husband is the primary cardholder XXXX XXXX in case they need to look this up through the primary account holder even though I am co-applicant.
