Account status incorrect
Complaint: Receivables Performance Collection agency is currently reporting a collection on my credit report for the amount of {$1800.00}. I understand that as a consumer it is my right to challenge items on my report that i believe is incorrect therefore I sent out a second round of a debt validation letter asking the agency to prove to me that this debt is mine n XX/XX/2018. I sent this letter certified mail with a return receipt and have seen that this company have received my dispute but has yet to answer me and it has been over 30 days. They also have not updated the account to say that i am currently disputing this item which is a violation on their behalf.

Attempted to collect wrong amount
Complaint: Received a collection notice on XX/XX/18 from Receivables Performance Management dated XX/XX/18 for a XXXX bill we dont owe. I currently have XXXX telephone service with autopay for several years now and didnt take the notice serious. On XX/XX/18 I checked credit reports via XXXX XXXX and the collection account is in my XXXX XXXX credit report. XXXX XXXX has put this unjustified collection account in my report and lowered my report by 70 points for a single {$280.00} Collections account. This is an abuse of the credit reporting bureau that is not being unpartial and penalizing my credit score unfairly. I would understand lowering my score 5 points for one negative report but not 70 points. In addition to XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX websites will not let me file a despute for the collection account. Both websites indicate error messages when trying to file a complaint. This unjust act must be cleared up immediately, please restore my credit report the 70 points. In addition to this XXXX, Receivables Performance Management is to clear the negative collection report on all of my credit monitoring report ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ). I also would like lifelock credit monitoring to be provided for this unjust act, with compensation of ten times the amount claimed owed {$2800.00}.

Account information incorrect
Complaint: The FCRA has dropped my credit score by 93 points within the last 45 days. Due to an old collection account that keeps getting sold to a new collection agency. I haven't had any other activity on my credit in the past two years. The FCRA has also taken it upon themselves to change the status of my charged off accounts to closed accounts with an outstanding balance. Based on some research I conducted, accounts that have been sold to Collection Agencies should be considered paid off by these agencies to the debtor and should no longer be shown on my credit file, or should have a zero balance. I want an investigation done to consider why my score would go down so drastically based on an old collection account that was sold to another agency that started a new report.
