Complaint: I have been rebuilding my credit for years and I raised my credit sore to XXXX where it has approx remained for the last year, I went to check my score recently to find it has dropped a 101 points overnight. a collection company ( Receivables performance Management ) put a collection/charge off on my credit report, stating I owe XXXX to ( XXXX XXXX ) I have never had XXXX XXXX in my life and have never had any type of dealings with XXXX XXXX. I checked into the collection agency and discovered I am not the only one with the exact same issue with this company the internet is littered with the same complaint as mine. the Better Business Bureau complaint/comment section has at least 50 complaints of the exact same claim with Receivables Performance Management saying they owe XXXX or XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ... when they have never had any dealings with them whatsoever. I have never received a letter or phone call from this collection company, this is either a mistake or they have just made up this claim in hopes I just pay to get it off my credit report. this debt is not mine it is either fraudulent or human error, I need this off my credit report.

Complaint: This collection agency has listed this on my credit profile without proper validation. I do n't have a contract signed with this agency or the original creditor. This collection agency has failed to send proper papers via mail notifying me this before listing on my credit. I have contacted this company and a csr stated it will be removed and sent back to original creditor. This has not happen yet. I will exercise all my rights since this is hurting my credit extremely and proper measure has n't been taking with the company.

Debt was paid
Complaint: I had an account with XXXX and my original monthly bill was for {$250.00}, but they 'll charge as high as {$500.00} sometimes XXXX double billing ), I 'd have to spend hours with them on the phone every month to fix the billings issues. I finally got tired of it and switched to XXXX. I received a final bill from XXXX which I paid them in 3 installments XXXX receipts and final bill is attached ). To my surprise, I received a credit monitoring report saying there 's a collection in my account and the original Creditor is XXXX.
I went to their corporate store to settle the issue and they directed me to call their XXXX number, I called and they directed me back to the store. I also tried to reach the collection agency and they again directed me to XXXX which was just playing games.
This is running the credit I 've spent years building and I 'd highly appreciate anything you can do to help.

Complaint: When I viewed my credit report after I had difficulty leasing an apartment for my family, I was shocked and dismayed to see a collection account on my credit report for XXXX that has been given to some shady sounding company that does n't have a real name. The name is the following : Rcvl Per Mng I contacted Rcvl Per Mng at the number listed on my credit report, and they could not verify this and said to call XXXX. I called to XXXX, and they said to call the collection agency.
I have never had a XXXX account, only XXXX in my whole life.
A quick XXXX search leads me to believe that this is actually a company called Receivables Performance Management. They are clearly trying to hide who they really are by not having their real name on the XXXX report.
I would guess they are not licensed to collect debts in Tennessee.

Complaint: I closed my account with XXXX XXXX of XXXX. To my knowledge at that time, there was a paid balance, and I had {$0.00} due. Was not aware that there would end up being a closing bill of {$90.00}. I 'm guessing the summer went by and they sent my account to a collection agency. During that spring and summer XXXX failed to notify me of that closing bill. Now here is the issue. Collection agency also failed to notify me of their attempt to collect debt. Did not receive a letter by mail, e-mail, or a phone call. I found out through my credit report I had a derogatory mark and called the collection agency immediately. They claim that they spoke with me XXXX times WITHIN THE PAST XXXX WEEKS. but all three times were me calling them to verify my dispute status after my credit report gave awareness to their attempt in collecting debt.

Attempted to collect wrong amount
Complaint: I received a letter from Receivable Performance Management LLC on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, indicating that I owed XXXX. The original creditor is XXXX XXXX.
I cancelled my service with XXXX about a year or two ago and switched over to XXXX. I had 5 telephone lines with XXXX, and when I cancelled my service with this company, all 5 lines should have been cancelled. Instead, what XXXX did was keep 1 of the former telephone lines open, and claimed that this one 1 line had never been cancelled. So it was open and inactive for a year or two, without my knowledge.
It does not make any sense that XXXX would keep 1 line open, since I cancelled my entire service with them. This means that all 5 lines should have been cancelled as well. XXXX chose not to cancel 1 out of the 5 lines, and now wants me to pay for the duration that this line had been kept open by them.

Complaint: I have a collection item in my credit report that is a total surprise to me : XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$500.00} - Joint account I never opened an account with anyone for it. I do use XXXX service but it is prepaid service, I pay {$100.00} or {$50.00} whenever my balance is low. I never received any bill from XXXX in the past and now this account is in collection. And until now I 've never received any phone calls or mails in their attempt to collect this debt I do n't owe.
How can I contact XXXX ( no phone or address ) or collector XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, WA XXXX no phone number to contact )?
What is the most effective way to find out what happened?
Thanks so much, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX

Debt was paid
Complaint: XXXX account was sent to collections, I paid the collection company settled for less, XXXX XXXX XXXX -act # XXXX Paid on XX/XX/XXXX.
XXXX sold the account to another collection company RPM Receivables Performance Management LLC. XXXX reported to the credit bureaus that I owed the remainder of the balance. RPM contacted me several times to try and collect what XXXX told them was a balance on the already settled account. I called XXXX several times to provide me with a letter that showed my payment settlement so I could provide proof of payment to RPM, I finally received proof in XX/XX/XXXX and sent to RPM VIA email. XXXX should have sent proof of payment within 10 days of my payment. XXXX should not have sent the remainder out for collection or reported it to the credit bureaus as owing a balance on the account.
My Credit score has dropped due to this XXXX falls reporting.
