Complaint: I was working on a short sale with XXXX. They countered XXXX and my client approved. We were just waiting on XXXX XXXX approval. In the middle of this process the negotiator told me that the loan was being sold to Rushmore XXXX XXXX. I could not talk to Rushmore because the file had not been transferred. XXXX XXXX I called Rushmore and they said they could not speak to me because the file did not transfer to them yet. This process took a week and a half. In the meantime I saw there was a foreclosure for XX/XX/XXXX. I asked the representative if that would be an issue an she said no. I was finally assigned a negotiator and he ordered the BPO. However last week he told me his supervisor said that Rushmore needs 60 days to complete the short sale. I was close to getting an approval with the previous servicer and I believe it is unfair for them to schedule the short sale foreclosure sale date without even giving us the opportunity to complete the sale.

Complaint: To whom it may concern : I have a complaint against Rushmore Loan Management Services. I tried to modify our mortgage with them and they refused and started bankruptcy proceedings. In order to stop the foreclosure I had to file for bankruptcy on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Rushmore filed a proof of claim with inflated charges and through my bankruptcy attorney I objected to their inflated charges. We reach an agreement XX/XX/XXXX and it was court ordered for them to adjust the charges that they had originally filed. A second RESPA letter was sent to them XX/XX/XXXX requesting that they follow the court order and fix the charges that were on my mortgage statement. Rushmore responded to that letter and did not correct the mortgage statement as they said they would in their letter. Rushmore continues to charge bogus charges to my mortgage statement every month see attached statement the charges are listed under property preservation, corporate advances, and attorney fees. I would like to file a claim against Rushmore Loan Management Services for incorrect charges on my mortgage. I have attached files to support my complaint. Thank you XXXX XXXX

Complaint: If I had XXXX word to describe the experience so far, it would be 'horrible. ' While poor customer service is unpleasant, it is not criminal and it is not the reason I am writing you. XXXX XXXX sold our mortgage to Rushmore with the payments to Rushmore starting XXXX XXXX. We received the letter that this was happening on XXXX XXXX. I tried to go online to Rushmore 's website to pay the balance, which was {$97.00} higher than our old payment for some reason, but the website kept erroring out. I then called all the numbers on the document that was sent to us. Each number took me into the same prerecorded loop, which once I got to the payment section would n't tell me how much was due and just wanted my routing and account numbers. I have n't thrown my banking info around willy nilly before, and I am not going to throw it into some poorly automated voice system with exactly XXXX detail as to how much it was going to charge me now. It is a huge frustration to not be able to pay a bill because the company receiving payment has made it nearly impossible to pay them. Finally, I got a hold of someone at the local number for the company, which I found hunting around on the internet ( this number was not listed on the documents they sent us ), and they confirmed that the payment had made it through on the website even though I was never able to make it to the end of the payment pages because of the site crashing. I 'm just thankful it did n't charge me repeatedly for each time it appeared not to work. When I asked why my payment was {$97.00} higher, they had no idea. I, after having read the many reviews on this company, found that the company often creates fraudulent negative net escrow balances. I checked my loan, and there it was, a {$180.00} negative net escrow balance. I have never had a negative net escrow balance on a mortgage until it was sold to Rushmore - and I mean NEVER. Seeing as it is a common problem for loans transferred to Rushmore, there must be something going on there. I 'm asking for your help, not just for myself, but for all the other people being abused by this company. The government allowing companies like this to exist detracts from the trust we all have that you are looking out for your fellow countrymen. Thank you for taking the time to help us.

Complaint: I am very devastated for all the excuses Rushmore has gave me in order to not approve me an affordable offer instead I am being asked to pay {$11000.00} as a good faith down payment and additional to that I need to pay 6 monthly of installments for the amount of {$1800.00} but it does not stop in the paper work it states to continue making payments after I complete the 6 installment payments until I received any permanent modification contract. However the trials are higher then what my mortgage was before I started to fall behind this is not helping my situation because my monthly mortgage payment was {$1400.00}. Rushmore knows I can not pay that large payment even though I had tried to negotiate the good faith payment Rushmore does not want to work with me. I am a single mother and I do not want to lose my house. Rushmore has set a sale date for XX/XX/2016 to have me removed from my house and to make matters worse Rushmore now does not let me speak to no agents from Rushmore instead I need to negotiate with Rushmore Attorneys because now they have my case.
