Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2015 I contacted my local office of Springleaf Financial Services to inquire about making a loan. I allowed them to look at my credit report. They asked for a pay-stub and more information to submit a complete application. I did not provide it because I did not want to get a loan from them. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 I received a letter from Springleaf informing me that my request for a loan had been declined and this decline was reported to XXXX credit reporting services. I did not ask for the loan, nor was I provided details in writing, nor did I request approval for a loan. I believe this was done unfairly and was done as retribution because of my lack of interest in their services. I want this decline retracted and not reported.

Complaint: One Main Financial is reporting incorrect loan information to all XXXX of the credit reporting agencies. The loan I took out was established XX/XX/2015 as an unsecured personal loan. This company is labeling the account an auto loan and reporting it the same. This information is incorrect and I 've disputed this with all three credit reporting agencies faxing proof of documentation from my existing loan forms to them. XXXX is the only CRA that is still reporting after 30 days of review/research as this is still a valid coded account. I 'm still waiting for XXXX and XXXX to report back their finding/investigations. I 've also contacted the merchant, One Main Financial regarding this inquiry/complaint and they have yet to address this problem. They are refusing to speak to me regarding disputing my account and how they are coding it to the credit report agencies. ( One Main Financial, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX, XXXX ).

Complaint: We are behind by 1 day on our personal loan from Onemain Financial in XXXX Pennsylvania. They call myself, my wife, and my mother ( whom does not live with us ) normally 20 times or more per day each. They have been doing this for four months now. They use multiple numbers, we have asked for them to stop harassing us they always get their money it 's never more then 21 days late ( 1 time ) mostly 7 days late, because they do n't allow us to change our due date. We make our payment which is supposed to be {$240.00} but we pay {$250.00} to allo {$4.00} to go towards the principal. He keeps telling us we are two months behind, however we are not. The calls start the day the payment is due and continue until the payment is made. We have had legal action threatened against us for being 1 day late! He told me that there was a {$7.00} charge that causes their system to assume we are 2 months behind but since we pay {$4.00} more every month that charge should n't exist. It 's more then a " system '' thing they physically dial the numbers and intentionally harass us because we do n't answer their numerous calls after we tell them when we will make our payment A date and time is given but the calls keep coming 20 or more times per day each.

Complaint: Springleaf Financial purchased this loan from XXXX XXXX some time ago. They sent me out notification of this taking place and asked at that time if I would agree to be contact by their personnel. I specifically said no and checked the box stating same on their form. Did n't matter, they contacted XXXX times after they received that back in their office. I also advised them that the amount owed is over 5 years old and collection of same is barred by Nebraska statute. I believe that the fines for contacting me after being told not to do so is up to {$1500.00} per occurrence.

Complaint: I currently have a loan with Springleaf Financial, in good standing. No late payments, no problems whatsoever. I applied online for another loan with Springleaf, for {$10000.00}. I received an email stating that I had been approved, but for a reduced amount ( {$7500.00} ). The email instructed me to call in order to complete the process. I called and answered numerous questions about employment and income. Everything went fine, until I mentioned that I already have a XXXX loan in good standing. I was immediately placed on hold, then the Springleaf representative came back on the line and mumbled something to the effect of " I 'm concerned about risk. '' I waited for him to say something else, but about a minute of silence passed. No wonder - he had disconnected the call. Having pre-approved me for a loan, Springleaf was apparently incapable of determining that I am already a customer - even though I provide my name, address, SSN, etc. ( and they did pull a credit report ). When I disclosed that I 'm a customer in good standing, their response was to disconnect the call and to refuse to continue processing my loan - even though they had pulled a credit report and pre-approved the loan.

Unknown to me my account was sold to Springleaf Finance and then sold to XXXX XXXX. Now for the past 4 years this has ruined my credit. Complaint: One Main Financial called my work and talked to one of the employees and said that their name was XXXX and needed an updated phone number for me the employee explained that she could n't give information out on employees and XXXX left her name and phone number so I could contact her. I contacted XXXX and she says I owe on a loan that I paid off in 2014 of XXXX online she said that was n't the pay off amount said I owed more than that. I told her I got a payoff qoete and paid it online and and sure that it was took care of! She continued to tell me I owe more money and asked if I was will to work something out because she already has papers to take it to court to file a law suit I explained that she needed to do what she had to do because I paid the loan in full! Then she proceeded to get angry so I hung up the phone. Yesterday they have called my phone on several acassions. I called them back and asked why would they call so many times when when I have already talked to someone and they have already said they have papers to take me to court? She got angry and said she 's only trying to do her job and hang up!

Complaint: I have been having issues with paying the full payment each month to One Main Finacial. I have tried talking the ladies at the local office and letting them know that even though I am paying less than the normal payme I am paying something at least once a month. I receive harassing phone calls from them on a daily basis pressuring me to pay more that I can not afford to and now thy are calling not only me but my place of employment and my co borrower and his place of employment. I have asked them several times to stop since I am paying something on the loan each month and it continues everyday sometimes XXXX times a day. I am afraid they are going to cause me to loose my job then none of my bills will get paid.

Complaint: I made a {$1500.00} payment in XXXX of 2015 to One Main Financial, which brought my loan balance down to {$6900.00} and should have paid my loan up for 5 months. I subsequently made a payment of {$270.00} in XXXX, which brought my balance down to {$6800.00}. I also made a {$270.00} payment in XXXX and XXXX but neither of those payments was applied to my balance. On XXXX XXXX, when I noticed the balance had not changed on my statements since XXXX, I contacted One Mail Financial. The manager, XXXX, stated that the accumulated interest is the reason my payments were not applied to my balance. I asked him how that could be when the {$1500.00} payment I made in XXXX should 've have covered my payments for at least 5 months. He could not give me an explanation other than saying the interest still accrued, even though my monthly payment is {$260.00}, and I paid {$1500.00} to cover my next XXXX payments.
