Complaint: I have XXXX XXXX 's a mortgage company,4 to 5 years ago. I called and asked for a notification, they said we had to be six months behind, so we did called back and they said we don't qualify, we got way behind, I think almost a year, then they said we got a notification, and lower our payment, I tried to refinance with another company and they said we had a 40 year mortgage. I checked my paperwork and it had My wife and mine name signed on them, which we did not sign, and then I checked all the paperwork on line, they had servicemember civil relief act paperwork, which myself and my wife, was not in I was in XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX., The reason I'm writing this is I checked my credit report and it had, pai in full, AND it had motifaction paperwork saying loan modified not under a federal government plan, I got on line and checked XXXX XXXX and found out the got sued, nobody let me and my wife know, or I would have signed papers. And also on my statement it says, total regular payment and under that total unpaid amount. Can you help me please, My wife and I never missed a payment until they told us to thank you XXXX XXXX, my numbers is XXXX thank you for all the help XXXX XXXX

Complaint: Today, I went online to make my monthly mortgage payment at Ocwen and I was surprised to find that Ocwen had instituted new policies with regard to how a payment can be made, without having received any of this information by mail, in advance.
The issue revolves around a {$7.00} service fee that they have decided to charge customers to make online payments. Not much, but I felt taken advantage of because I was not informed of the changes by mail, email or any other method, in advance.
The website claims that if I were to enroll in " paperless statements, '' that the {$7.00} fee would be waived.
I called and spoke to an Ocwen representative who informed me that they, in fact, had NOT sent out any information about these changes, but were in " the process '' of doing so.
To me, this seems completely unfair and wholly inadequate. In my humble opinion, they should be REQUIRED to inform customers of any changes IN ADVANCE of making such changes.
The representative I spoke with suggested that the changes had been noted on their website previously. I asked if it was then necessary for me to monitor their website frequently to " catch '' such changes. She had no answer.
Kindly look into this deceptive and unfair practices being made to squeeze {$7.00} out of each of their customers.

Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: My property was foreclosed and filed onXX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX c/o Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX FL XXXX. The filing was in the state of Wisconsin , county of XXXX XXXX XXXX. The property was sold on auction on XX/XX/XXXX. Ocwen sent me a tax form XXXX for Debt cancellation of {$7100.00} in which I paid taxes on for XX/XX/XXXX filings based on fair market value of {$56000.00}. I recently observed my credit report for XXXX and noticed Ocwen was listed as open and a debt of {$5400.00} with last payment reported XX/XX/XXXX. I filed a dispute and was given the report that Ocwen stated it was legitimate and then they reported I had two late payments for XX/XX/XXXX betweenXX/XX/XXXX, which dropped my credit score 14 points. They also reported me 120 days late. My XXXX report states the same account and same amount, {$5400.00} with Ocwen as Closed and Charged off as bad debt, Profit and Loss write-off.

Complaint: This property belongs to an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The family was left with these properties without a will.
They had to go to Court and fight to try and save the properties.
They received no notice from anyone concerning a property sale date for XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY XXXX.
When the family tried to find the contact for this property, they called XXXX And there was no one to speak to they could not find the property address on their files or a loan number. We contacted Ocwen Loan Servicing with the loan number from XX/XX/2013 and they could not find or locate any information concerning the property.
Now a person has been calling by the name of XXXX from XXXX.
There has never been any notices of any kind sent to the Administrators of the XXXX XXXX XXXX the grand son or the co-administrator were never notified of any foreclosure by Ocwen Laon Servicing or XXXX.

Complaint: I am currently in foreclosure at the beginning of this process I hired an attorney with the intention of keeping my home. We were offered a favorable loan modification that would allow us to keep our home. The only issue is we were not informed of the offer until it was way too late to accept it. Once I learned this I immediately began trying to contact our loan servicing company : Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX-XXXX XXXX XXXX ) XXXX I submitted all the loan modification paperwork including all documentation that was requested. I then called every few days to see the progress of the application. I was informed about a week later that the application was denied. Even though I tried explaining that we were offered a loan modification but that my prior attorney had not informed us until after the offer had expired. I was told to appeal which I did and the appeal was denied as well. We are now dangerously close to losing our home as the foreclosure proceeding are nearing the end. I then emailed the only executive email I could find. Complaint: XXXX XXXX has been trying to bring his loan current for years. He has been advised for years by an attorney who he paid on a monthly basis as he was instructed to not speak to the bank and to pay him. This attorney has moved and closed his office after being paid over {$25000.00}.
XXXX XXXX ' wife passed away and he has been trying to put his life back together along with his children. His loan has been transferred to at least 5 different service XXXX XXXX has sent documents and proof of documents sent.
At this point he is well able to pay a mortgage. he and his children are employed.
Ocwen Loan servicing is the servicer on his loan and they have put him in a sale date with no notification of a sale to him. He found out about the sale from people calling trying to get him to sign the home over to them for a small amount of money.
He was not sent any notice of sale as required 30 days before scheduled auction on his home.

Complaint: I am unable to get information on account number XXXX. My attorney sent XXXX XXXX several emails requesting for a loan modification with a payment I could afford. Its been over 30 days and no response. I have been recording the automated information on my account. On XX/XX/2018 there was a sudden change to the account during the time the servicer was merging with XXXX and I recorded it. The automated system informed me that a new mortgage payment in the amount of {$2900.00} is due XX/XX/2018. On XX/XX/2018 the trustee sale was postponed to XX/XX/2018. On XX/XX/2018, the automated system gave me different information again. Since XXXX XXXX is not responding to my attorneys emails I called Ocwen myself to get information on the account, my call was automatically transferred to the law department, the representative told me I would need to contact XXXX XXXX to get the update. How am I suppose to get information on the account if the servicer and its outside lawyer wont give me information?

Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing is using abusive unfair and deceptive loan servicing tactics in connection with my foreclosure process. Ocwen provided me an approved modification based on personal and financial information I DID NOT PROVIDE TO THEM.
I declined the modification on XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX, Ocwen made a motion for renewed summary judgement against because I did not accept the bogus modification. See attached. This is the fourth time Ocwen has done this.
Ocwen is using the loan modification process to cause me great harm.

Complaint: I am on a mortgage loan with my ex-husband on a home that we bought when we were married. He lives in the home now and makes the mortgage payments. I am not involved financially at all. The mortgage company changed his payment from {$850.00} to {$870.00} in XX/XX/2018. Since his payments of {$850.00} a month were being debited automatically, he was not aware of the {$20.00} increase per month. By XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX he was about {$130.00} behind on his payments, not nearly an entire month late. The mortgage company proceeded to report both of us to the credit bureaus as 30+ days late. My score dropped nearly 100 points. I have been working for 20 years to get my credit score close to 800 and now it is ruined. I have sent a letter to the mortgage company explaining all of this and they have not responded. I need assistance with reversing the negative information on my credit report AND removing myself from the mortgage all together. The account has been brought up to date in the meantime. Thank you

Complaint: I requested a loan modification in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/2017 and now after a year, I am being charged a past due fee of {$110.00} for a property evaluation they did. I was never notified, no authorization and no notification that I will be responsible to pay for this evaluation. First time I heard about this was when they added this past due in my mortgage statement in XX/XX/XXXX. Called to clarify what was this all about and this is what they told me, that a property evaluation was needed because I applied of a loan modification and that they need to know the value of my property. They denied me flatly at that time because I was not in default on my mortgage payments. So what is the point of the evaluation when they know they will not approve it. I called several times for them to take this out but they said they will not. Is this legal for them to charge me this? Wondering if this is a new rule that property owners asking for loan modification have to pay for something that they don't know about, that lenders can just do whatever they want without requesting for approval and then ask property owners to pay for it? As far as I know, when someone applies for a loan modification, they are not to pay anything regardless.

Complaint: I have a mortgage and HELOC and Ocwen is the mortgage servicer. I've been making timely payments on both loans since 2005, mostly via online or over the phone and have never been charged a " service fee '' for paying electronically. Now Ocwen is charging {$7.00} to make payments online or over the phone. These payments are deducted directly from my checking account, so there is no credit card fees or any other fees incurred by Ocwen. In fact, electronic payments reduce Ocwen 's operating costs as I'm not sending checks to their lockbox which charges them a per check fee to process.
Given Ocwen 's well documented violations and substantial penalties assessed, you would expect them to be more consumer friendly, however, that's definitely not the case as this outrageous processing fee demonstrates.
