Complaint: I have an account with XXXX/Netspend and I authorized payment for {$600.00} to come out to pay for my car payment with XXXX XXXX. I became aware today, XX/XX/2019, that the payment that I scheduled forXX/XX/19 was returned due to NSF. I was not notified via mail to advise there was a return payment. The account at the time had a balance of {$590.00} which would have made the account short by {$3.00}. XXXX/Netspend I learned will pay for transactions if within a {$10.00} range but not if you use a Checking account. I have not had an NSF on this account the entire time which has been almost three years. I now have a 30 day late on my Credit Report because I was unaware of the NSF. I also didn't receive notice from XXXX. I feel it is unfair to customers to have overdrafts paid if they use their debit but not their checking. It's the same account and XXXX/Netspend would still be extending funds. The card I was not afforded the option on my account and now this has damaged my credit. I have tried to reach XXXX/Netspend to resolve and they only offered a sorry and moving forward to change alerts. The card I have states all access but I was not given the same treatment for customers with debit card transactions they may come up short.

Complaint: I called Netspend on XX/XX/2019 because I received an email about an address change on my account I then called Netspend to found out my account was closed by Risk Management stating too many disputes. So I asked about the disputes.I advised Netspend my last dispute was in XX/XX/2019 they stated there was a dispute filed on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX via online. When I stated that I have not been able to access my online account since XX/XX/XXXX they stated my account is already closed and there is nothing they can do but send refund check which will take 10 business days to receive. I have XXXX children and my XXXX year old son is XXXX and his SSI was just deposited into the account and due to this error I am unable to purchase his medicine which reduces his traumatic episodes. Netspend has taken away the only funds I have and are making me wait 10 business days to receive a refund check for an issue I did not cause. I requested them to review my account to see every time I have made a dispute it has been valid and I call the moment it happens or as soon as the charge posts to my account. The disputes reported on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX were charges from XXXX and XXXX. I have already told Netspend I did not create those disputes and I did verify those charges are indeed mine. I raised the question to Netspend why would I wait so long and I have never waited to report a dispute and how was my address changed without my authorization. No answers, only the same robotic response they will send refund check in 10 business days but unfortunately XXXX doesn't wait amd my son needs his medicine NOW. I was promised a callback by higher management 2 times today after having to hold for an hour plus each time to speak with a supervisor and no one has called or reached out to me in any form. We can not wait for my son 's medicine and if anything happens to him because of this Netspend error I am going to explore all avenues of legal actions to take this company down.

Complaint: Ever since Netspend changed their overdraft protection with the introduction of the All Access card, they are doubling the amount they receive from my direct deposit to their ends at my expense. They are pocketing {$120.00} of my {$250.00} payroll deposit and then profiting an additional {$120.00} in overdraft protection as opposed to me being in receipt of my {$250.00} direct deposit and being afforded overdraft protection of {$100.00} for which I qualify by being a customer who receives at least {$400.00} per month on their card through direct deposit. The way this is being done is simply this : I allot {$250.00} to the All Access Card of Netspend each payday. Each payday I only have access to {$120.00} of my {$250.00} direct deposit. When I spoke with representatives and then with their managers on many occasions about this, I am told that someone will call me to correct this. The person that called me told me that this is correct due to the overdraft protection extended of {$100.00} in my case. Realizing that each withdrawal of cash or purchase I make incurs fees upward of {$25.00} each, upon receiving {$120.00} direct deposit per {$250.00} I allot to Netspend for my expenditure each payday via direct deposit each payday of {$250.00}, I resort to withdrawing the full amount ATMs which issue in {$20.00} increments would allow, {$240.00} of my {$250.00} direct deposit immediately upon deposit notification. But I incur {$120.00} in overdraft protection fees in doing so. When my next direct deposit of {$250.00} notification is texted on my phone it reads that {$120.00} is available from recent deposit of {$250.00}. This happens each time I allot {$250.00} to my Netspend account per payday, which equates to a total of {$500.00} in monthly direct deposits I entrust to Netspend for my use at my discretion.

Complaint: I still dont know why it happened. I got a text from skylight, which i have had for 3 years from my job for direct deposit, because I didn't have a bank, so I just kept the card. Saying i needed to call them. I called they said there was fraudulent activity on my account and they closed it out. Ask me which way I wanted my money that was in the account, my whole life savings, no other way to get money. They just keeped saying fraud department did it. No one could tell me why. They tried to send me my money twice thru XXXX XXXX but because they had the reason for the transfer marked as Freud on my account, XXXX XXXX marked my pick up as freud. Now i have to 10 days for all my money I have no access to any other funds. Plus my paycheck is now going to try to go into the account and hopefully be returned to my job, which even then they have to do the same thing and issue me a check which will take 15 days. They said I wasn't eligible for another account. The only thing I can think about is a purchase I made on XXXX that I refused the package. The other party didn't expect returns, but it wasn't a return, i didn't even open the package. Then they were trying to charge me for them to ship it back to me. I disputed with skylight, they gave me my money, the tracking number showed they got the package back. Then they took the money back out of my account without sending my package back. Now I have no item and out {$35.00} with no way to do anything because my account is closed out.
