Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I called Monterrey Financial to find out why they were reporting the incorrect balance to my credit companies and the gentlemen explained that they report the actual balance with the interest and not what the actual payoff amount would be, we had a little argument about a {$85.00} fee that was to be waived and was never waived, I ended up telling the " account manager '' that I will just payoff my account and be done with them, we set up everything he confirmed payment will be taken on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I get notification from my bank that a transaction was denied for Monterrey Financial. I immediately called my bank and they explained that they denied it thinking it was fraudulent activity and they needed me to call and verify, they fixed the issue on their end so that Monterrey Financial could take the payment. They advised me to call back Monterrey Financial and have them re-attempt to take the money, which I did, but the other supposedly " account manager '' that answered was talking to fast confirming everything that the only thing I understood was {$780.00} and my pay off was supposed to be {$730.00} I asked they guy where did the difference came from and he said a recovery fee. I asked him why a recovery fee if my money was on my account and my back is just doing their job of stopping fraudulent activity and they were supposed to take their money on XX/XX/XXXX & not on XX/XX/XXXX, it is not fair that I get penalized for something out of my control. The guy would not let me talk and kept over talking me and only thing I kept on hearing that I authorize a payment of {$760.00} and I am trying to stop the guy to tell him I am not authorizing a {$760.00} payment and he just talking saying Ok you authorize the payment to come off your account today XX/XX/XXXX, I said one more time I am not authorizing that payment and he then said ok you authorize the payment for the XX/XX/XXXX. I ended telling the guy you are not authorized and I hanged up. I called back and asked to speak to someone above a account manager as everyone that I speak to every-time is an account manager, a lady named XXXX was nice enough to get me a leader named XXXX. XXXX called me back I explained the situation and she was very understanding and was actually able to resolve my issue and confirm to me that on XX/XX/XXXX the payoff of {$730.00} would be charged to my XXXX and she waived the fee. I want this dispute to be taken into consideration as I expect that a company providing services would not try to cheat costumers into authorizing payments without their consents and the gentleman I had the displeasure of dealing with today treat others with the same attitude.

Complaint: I had bought a Coton De tulear breed dog from XXXX XXXX in XXXX Illinois almost a year ago. I inderstood that the animal had cost around {$1500.00} and we agreed to payment plans. After a while of losing our jobs we couldnt make payments, fees started adding up, and the account went to collections with Monterey Financial ( Which I do not believe is a collection agency ). A short bit ago we have been making our payments to the " collection agency '' they claim to be with no supervisor and the only person I can speak to is my account holder. Our balance was {$2000.00} as of XX/XX/. We made a payment of {$200.00} on the same day. They then told me my balance was {$1900.00} which is not minus {$200.00}. So I made another {$200.00} payment on XX/XX/ and my balance was {$1700.00}. So I made another payment 2 weeks later od {$200.00} and I had seen they only took {$100.00} from me. They said " we charge a {$20.00} processing fees and you owed {$50.00} in misc. fees. '' So I said " Okay so after all fees are paid {$130.00} shouldve went to my total balnce left and you guys only took {$100.00}. Where is the other {$30.00}? And she said " Not sure where you have been getting these quotes from but noone has quoted your payments at all do I will quote this one today. '' They keep charging me {$20.00} processing fee, and only putting {$100.00} towards my account balance and Im not sure where my other money went. Also, we have paid almost {$700.00} since we started our first payment and they said we have not and they cant believe me because noone has been quoting my payments. I want this place shut down, my money back, or something done because they keep taking my money and lieing about where it is going. If you look at customer reviews, everybody says the same thing. They refuse to dorect me to a supervisor and keep telling me they arent aure where im getting my " total balance '' after payments from hence nobody quoting my payments. As a company of the account you would think they would quote everything. Please do something about this.

Complaint: We were sold a timeshare by XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. We paid a 10 % deposit and made 6 months ' worth of payments. We tried to make reservations but there was never any availability. We tried to contact the sales department via email and phone, but they never responded. Because of their lack of response and no availability we discontinued our payments. Our account was canceled and closed by XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Two months later XXXX XXXX XXXX began calling us and trying to collect {$14000.00} on behalf of XXXX XXXX. The caller was very aggressive and threatening in her language. We had never stayed at the property since our initial visit in XX/XX/XXXX. We were not able to reserve any dates at the property. This timeshare company is a scam. We should not have to pay for something we never used and could not use. XXXX XXXX XXXX should not be calling us to collect for a canceled and closed account that was never used.

Complaint: We joined & RV Park in XX/XX/XXXX& cancelled the membership back in XX/XX/XXXX. The contract reads if you do not pay dues your membership is cancelled. This was a very unsafe park for seniors. We spent a few days there back in XX/XX/XXXX & the manger got into fist fights in front of our RV as well as all kinds of cars into this park all hours of the day & nite. Not a safe place for seniors. There has been no dues paid to this park since XX/XX/XXXX. No contact what so ever with them. A few weeks a go they found this shady collection agency & they took the account & are now have put this our credit reports for {$330.00}. The statue of limitations ran out on this 4 years ago. This alleged debt is was opened in XX/XX/XXXX. The statue of limitation in Texas is 4 years. This collection agency is totally illegal. Complaint: In 2015 I attempted to purchase a Time Share from XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX. My husband and I traded in our time share to XXXX XXXX for a XXXX trade in price. I started to get bills from our ( thought traded time share XXXX XXXX ) we found the time share had not been in fact purchased By XXXX XXXX and that we still owned the one we thought we traded. We were told the developer at XXXX XXXX was not able to purchase our time share because of inventory issues. Shortly after we stopped paying maintenance fees on the new time share because we don't own it. I received a call from from Monterey Financial a collection company in California ( who has assumed our debt ) telling us that we did not have an agreement for a trade and that we owe for both time shares. Monterey is in California and XXXX XXXX is in XXXX. Out attorney sent Monterey and XXXX XXXX a cease and desist letter. We then had our attorney file on our behalf a letter asking XXXX XXXX to remove it from my credit report since we were in litigation. I submitted three disputes and they came back with a response that the collection " had been verified '' I attempted to submit a letter to the credit bureau and it will not allow me to dispute the issue as it states I have submitted a dispute in 120 time frame. I explained to XXXX XXXX it is severely damaging my credit. They refuse to remove it. Monterey Financial only called me once and immediately put me in collections. Their practices are unlawful and I reserve the right a consumer to have fair reporting. They are not reporting it honestly, it affected my car rate and it is affecting my credit reporting score.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted me to inform me that XXXX XXXX XXXX will no longer be available to me. XXXX XXXX XXXX stated to me that they will be handling my student loans I will be paying them for my student loans I recently contacted XXXX XXXX regarding my account They stated to me that no money has been paid so with that being said I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and they told me that I am paying them for paper work why would I pay so one XXXX just to handle paper work they are very misleading regarding paying back student loans i has under the impression that my student loans were being properly paid until I received letters in the mail stating that my account was past due. After speaking with XXXX XXXX they informed me that more complaints have occurred with this company. They are very miss leading regarding the company I have called several times and every time I call the company isnt open. Its already had paying bills but when your trying to keep credit in line and people like XXXX XXXX taking money that isnt necessary and they also stated that I couldve handled the paper work on my on but I didnt and this was on a recorded line on my banks telephone number XXXX XXXX XXXX I will like so more information regarding this company that has been taking money from my account since XX/XX/2017 and my student loans have not been paid they never sent me letters through the mail theyve never even told me how much my payment would be so I wouldnt even know what they money was being taken for XXXX XXXX have said that they never even contacted them in regards to my payments that I should me paying a month please help me they are contstanly taking {$57.00} a month and nothing shows for it PLEASE help signed XXXX XXXX

XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, on XX/XX/2017. I paid XXXX down and finance XXXX the balance with Monterey Financial. They promise to relieve me of my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and give me a better way to vacation with XXXXXXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2017, I received 2 turndown letter # XXXX and # XXXX dated the same day stated ( Mismatch social number ( bureau vs application ). Then on XX/XX/, I received a statement from Monterey Financial for {$7900.00} due on XX/XX/ for {$280.00}. OnXX/XX/XXXX I received confirmation from XXXX XXXX XXXX that they received my XXXX XXXX XXXX info and set up my client portal. I made my first payment of the XX/XX/XXXXand additional {$1900.00} on XX/XX/. I have not received anything membership from XXXX XXXX vacation plan. I call XXXX XXXX and Vacation Consulting office after 30 days and I was told it takes 45 days to process and I receive a call from a supervisor stating It would take 60 days to process after they received my request to cancel. It has been more than 60+ days, no response from XXXX or any timeshare cure, vacation plan confirmation nor membership as promised. After several requests for results, I called my credit card company to dispute the purchase. OnXX/XX/XXXX, I receive an email from XXXX XXXX regarding my frustration. OnXX/XX/XXXX, I received a welcome letter from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, stated it will be another 3 weeks to receive my membership from XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/ I receive a packet from XXXX XXXXXXXX stating that my membership is effective XX/XX/ ( no calls or emails confirmation ). My credit card company got all my money back, but now my XXXX XXXX XXXX is delinquent and Monterey finance put my account in delinquent status. I am disputing Monterey Financial. I received another call from a company soliciting for XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX this week. All timeshare are scams. I have 3 timeshares so I thought I should help others and stop these companies from defrauding consumers.

Complaint: This debt is placed in collections on my credit report under Monterey Collections, they say I owe them {$560.00}. As I never signed a legally binding contract with that collection agency. I disputed this debt with all 3 credit bureaus and wrote the address listed on my credit report asking them to validate the debt with them by sending a contract. They have since then, sent me emails, sent a contract and are now calling and leaving voicemails on my phone. I have since then responded and asked that they only communicate thru US mail, as debt collectors are very aggressive and rude people. I then got another repeated email from this company as soon as I hang up the phone. ( shown in the proof ). They sent a contract thru the mail, which has an e-signature on it, they say I signed for, and address that I do not live at and a social security number with X 's followed by 4 number in which they claim is my social and the original contract that I signed. The contract also says that I agreed to pay XXXX XXXX XXXX and or their successors ( which I am assuming are them ). When I try to look over the original contract in my email, I see that they have disabled the original link with the ORIGINAL contract on it. This contract also says that I agreed to pay the state of DELAWARE, this collection agency is out of XXXX, CA. I reside in North Carolina. I owe no one in California. I am asking for the original contract, an authentication or proof that the alleged e-signature is in fact mine. As I am not obligated to pay back money under a FORGED/edited contract. I feel as though I am being manipulated into paying a credit company that I have not signed a contract with. They are threating to take legal action against me, but have disabled the link showing the original contract so that I no longer have access and have instead sent me a typed up contract. They keep saying that I had 30 days to respond to the original debt notice sent but they don't even have my correct address on the alleged loan contract. They only have my current address because I wrote them FIRST.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I was contact via phone by XXXX XXXX/Monterey financial after returning the call I understood that the business was closed and had to call the next day upon returning the call the next day I spoke with the A representative XXXX XXXX she was very unprofessional Refuse to let me speak with a supervisor to get to the bottom of what was going on the representative want to know why I had made my monthly payment I explained to her that my payment was on an automatic debit from my account and it had been and that was the only way that I could obtain the loan This company does not allow you to mail in payments she told me that they discontinued by their own choice to stop debiting my account and they had supposedly spoken with a gentleman that Id have no idea who he is that stated he would be making my payments by monthly check Ive asked them What number did they contact this person it was an able to be given the informationthere is no gentlemen attached to my account name XXXX that makes monthly payments and they finally admitted that they had reached out to the wrong person and had given out my informationTo this mysterious person I am unable at this time to come to an agreement with next step funding Monterey financial on as to how they plan on continuing to receive my payments There are stipulations in their contract for if you are not able to pay for the items they can reprocess them this wont be happening because I did not ask for the payments to stop they stop them themselves Ive made every payment on time I have never missed a payment because of the automatic with drawlThe company chose to no longer debit my account bad choice my account is still open it is still active I have never filled out any paperwork to discontinue nor have I received any documentation from them that they would discontinue the automatic debitOn XX/XX/XXXX was the first point of contact when they call me they never call for the month of XXXX they never written me a letter or email me any type of notifications as to what was going on in this matter.

The debt was obtained prior to the XX/XX/2015 bankruptcy which automatically includes it in the bankruptcy. It has also not been verified through the dispute processes of the cra 's.
