Complaint: Sending message to Chase Bank through this. This is a complaint against Chase Bank. I had the Chase Sapphire Preferred Credit Card and used it as my primary credit card. I was planning to use it as my primary credit card for the next 30+ years. One day, I had to do a charge back for {$170.00} against a terrible company called XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) ( XXXX ). They never gave me the course report that I paid for. Chase repeatedly denied my claim and never sided with me. I am correct because I never received the course report. Chase 's customer service was very poor. Most didn't talk professionally to me or provided no information to me. When my annual fee came, I decided to cancel the credit card and end my relationship with them because they wouldn't side with me on my first charge back, poor customer service, and wouldn't give me a credit for the {$95.00} annual fee. Congratulations Chase for losing a valuable customer. I was going to upgrade my Chase credit card, get another Chase credit card, and refer you to two other people. In your mind, {$170.00} was greater value than keep me with these benefits. You lost Chase and I will support your competitor now.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I received a " XXXX with XXXX payment '' to my Chase Checking account for {$2000.00}. On XX/XX/2019 I received a debit for a " XXXX Dispute '' of {$2000.00}. On XX/XX/2019 I realized {$2000.00} was taken out of my account with the debiting transaction labeled " XXXX dispute ''. I contacted Chase customer service and they informed me that their was an open investigation on this transaction for quite some time. The investigation is now closed and was decided in the senders favor. I asked why the case was decided in the senders favor and was given the following information : The sender called their bank and told them that this was an unauthorized transaction. An investigation was opened. They looked into the account owners login history to verify that the location they logged in from was irregular. Based on the IP address investigation they decided to rule in the senders favor and issued the {$2000.00} reimbursement. I personally know the sending party and know that this was not an unauthorized transaction. Initially they wanted to send me money via a XXXX transfer but I told them I prefer XXXX ( thinking there was no risk of a chargeback ; i was wrong ) .So we met in person on XX/XX/XXXX so that they can pay me the money they owe me via XXXX transfer. He called his sister ( the account owner ) and told her to go ahead and send the money after I gave them my XXXX details. I heard XXXX 's voice ( the account owner ). I am 100 % certain that this was an authorized transaction by the sender and they are exploiting the bank/ XXXX 's policy here. This was a lackluster investigation which resulted in a XXXX criminal being rewarded and an honest XXXX taxpayer out {$2000.00}. Of course these criminals knew to use a different login location to complete the transaction. They are criminals who live off of stealing from other people! The only investigation performed was to check if the criminal was smart enough to use an IP Address they have never used before to login to their account to complete the transfer! It is very obvious someone told them about this scheme where you can send money through your USA bank account and request your money back by calling the bank and saying it was an " unauthorized transaction ''. These people are XXXX and don't have much money. They will XXXX over anyone as long as they can get some money out of it. To make matters worse, Chase customer representatives claim that they froze my account to complete the investigation. I was never told about any type of ongoing investigation or my account being frozen. I do my weekly banking with chase and my account was never frozen or suspended when logging in online. This was like an extremely lazy effort from whoever investigated this claim.

Complaint: My roommate pays me $ XXXX monthly for rent, and has done so since XX/XX/2019. But for the last two months in a row, Chase Bank has placed a 10-day hold on her rent checks, forcing me to scramble when the rent comes due. When I contacted Chase to fix the problem, they would not tell me why the hold was placed, only that the funds weren't available yet and the rest was confidential. My roommate contacted her bank, and the funds went through within hours of the deposit being made in both occasions. Yet, Chase still will not release my money. I am frustrated and am wondering if this is even legal for them to do. Please help.

Complaint: Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Freedom Unlimited without cause or giving me notice slashed my credit limit on both cards by {$4000.00} and {$3000.00} respectively. I have made all payments on time and I always pay more than the minimum amount. I had to make credit purchases to cover unforeseen expenses such as automotive repairs. I called customer services and was told Chase could slash my credit limit at anytime and they were not required to inform me. This is unjustified and arbitrary on their part and I have been discriminated against for unknown reasons. I explained I am a XXXX veteran and now XXXX from the XXXX XXXX. I have always paid my financial obligations and by Chase slashing my credit limit has severely damaged my credit scores and placed an undue burden on my finances. The Chase Credit card corporation needs to be held accountable for their callous and mean spirited practices. Their reckless disregard for their customers is inexcusable. Chase slashed my credit limit on or about XXXX XX/XX/2019. I request your assistance to rectify this matter because Chase does not care about the consequences of their thoughtless decisions that in my case has caused an approximate 70 points drop for my credit scores. Chase should explain to your bureau why they approved me in the first place and without notice decided with what I feel is malicious intent and they are in violation of the law. As a citizen and consumer who has followed the law and common courtesy I will continue to pursue justice and notify my government representatives and the news media about Chase Bank Credit. They are greedy thoughtless cruel and unpatriotic corporate bullies. Please assist me in my efforts to expose their awful and illegal business model. Thank you for your assistance.

I had made some check deposits in the past and on XXXX XX/XX/2019 I noticed I was charged all sorts of fees on 11 checks they claim I deposited on XX/XX/19 and they all bounced. As i mention in the last year i did deposit those checks and they would have been the only ones with control and copies. Now .y account ending in XXXX is totally XXXX up and they refuse to refund my money they returned 3 {$12.00} charges but I still have half of dozen {$12.00} & {$30.00} charges they refuse to take care of Today XX/XX/2019 instead of celebrating my other halfs birthday I am stuck on the phone with department after department and as I mentioned before I went down this same road before and Chase ultimately just ignored me last time and kept all those fees it is a common practice by them and I am asking for you the proper governing agency to apply the law and investigate I have other XXXX people who bank with this bank and have had similar issues Please help and thank you in advance and I see {$240.00} missing from my linked checking account as a withdraw that I never made so now I am extremely concerned.

I have a durable poa that handled all my transactions as i requested the sell is complete notorized filed and recorded tghe buyer has possession of my prior residence, I called Chase Bank on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX i explained i was XXXX XXXX and mobility was an issue she informed me to open bank account online and have my poa bring unsigned check to bank branch which i did on XX/XX/XXXX my poa which is notorized legal binding document, she is also my successor and has all rights to conduct my buisness to handle my financial affairs and real estate on my behalf. This is how they tricked me into opening an account online which states you dont have to step 1 foot in bank branch and then bring an unsigned check deposited into my checking account which is against there very own policy, but they sure didnt tell me such and still hasn't my poa went to bank branch on XX/XX/XXXX with certified copy of durable poa because title company has to have original to get the contract recorded, so we called to get original that has been filed recorded and made public record, now this banker thinks i dont exist i dont care what the XXXX he thinks, i have occurred such financial hardships due to chase bank restricting me from all access to my money i wanted my simple checking account that the check was deposited into and cleared on that monday they did not honour any of my request to access any of my money as stated in Expeditted Funds Availability Act, or comply with XXXX XXXX XXXX there reasoning to get myself to branch is to have my XXXX year old poa XXXX me from XXXX put me in her car can ; t get XXXX into car and drive me there and come tnrough drive threw at bank that is there recommended accommadation for elderly XXXX woman to access her funds to a federal building a bank is suppose to uphold and value trust relationships between client and bank they should have never accepted an unsigned check of that amount there only policy which i have requested muliple times without any reasoning or issued to me in writing therfore this checking agreement is in breach of contract this is my money they are not entitled to keep it from me so they can drawl there XXXX dollar a day interest on a bank account that has been closed by my request and i recieved email on XX/XX/XXXX stating account was closed and check should have been issued withen 48 hours as law states but they have informed me it would take 7 to 10 buisness days my poa went to branch with all original documents and presented these documents to the same XXXX banker that acceppted check and he outright refuses to accept my poa or any of my request i have been told so many lies by so many customer services and branch employees i dont no were my money is they have no right to hold it without court order saying so iam demanding my money be returned to me immediatly as this is my only income the personal banker took my cards from poa and claimed he would shred them he is a lyer a theif an oppurtunist and a predator of stealing peoples money im still getting alerts that my closed account is a XXXX balance and must retrain there XXXX dollar arrangements so there taking my money by stealing threw that way as well i can not get an honest answer from anyone there should be no restriction or holds on my account i only accessed XXXX of the XXXX XXXX that i deposited and now have no access to and he wont honour my poa that sold my house and its a legal recorded document for her to act on my behalf as if she was me she has lost her vehicle almost her job she now has to walk to work she is entitled to compensation on my behalf for handling all of my affairs and caring for me at her expences not to mention the contracts i signed with independant assistance living senior housing the loss of my XXXX XXXX XXXX vehicle between those 2 cancelled broken contracts that cost me a little over XXXX thousand. they have prevented and made XXXX sure i could not access my money by any means to get to there branch my poa has XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX and 2 XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX they will not come to my residence my poa has spent so much money in moble notorys which she shouldnt of had to because the original poa was good enough to sell my home but this banker wont accept it cause he wants to steal my money none of these agreements are to be honoured because tghey were all based on lies and a set up for them to steal my money i will have to now hire a attorney due to this banker iam very upset that a financial institute can keep your money like this the fraud exploitation is all on them i dont have 15 days to wait for my money i want it now and i mean every bit of it i dont have to disclose a XXXX thing avout my own private matters and i dont need them to manage my money there term to steak it or dictate to me who my poa should be or how to spend it i already established identity at another bank i want my money issued into this bank immediatly or my poa to pick up my funds the same way they tricked her into depoisit it into a knew online banking account and no endorsement needed with such large amount hge knew whgat he was doing all along i wil not be taken for a fool or let thus XXXX steal my money by any means

Complaint: This account should be in my exhusband name only. During our divorce the final court orders stated that he could keep the home, property or furniture inside the home. But he would be responsible for making the mortgage payment, pay taxes, and other fees for the upkeep of the home. Legal documents were signed to remove my name from this account and the deed. I contacted JPCB Morgan Bank and they had sent him an assimilation packet to have my name removed. He did not mail it back. They stated they would send him another packet, so far nothing. I reached out to my exhusband about the matter, he stated he would fix it, but yet nothing has been done. I have reported this also to the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I will also be filing contempt charges against the exhusband for not taking care of this matter, as well as letting the Judge know that no one is complying with her court orders. Apparently my name was removed from the deed but not the mortgage as the courts ordered. I am trying to purchase my own home and this is preventing me to do so.

Complaint: Chase United Club and Sapphire Prefered has MISLEADING customer service practices. I experienced two instances of misleading advertising and customer service first I opened my United Milage card, online it promised both a free year on the card and XXXX extra mileage points if the customer spend {$3000.00} on their first three months. I received the former but not the latter. They said that they did not have that written on my account - this was absolutely not true and should have taken a screen shot of their offer. Second, as I was trying to close all my accounts, they offered my a {$60.00} statement credit to keep the account open. I tried to close it twice, and they gave me {$120.00} credit to keep it open.They did not mention that I had to keep my account open for the whole year. They said it was implied that I had to keep it open for a year.

Complaint: I spoke to a Chase representative on XX/XX/XXXX at the bank branch ( in XXXX area ) about a balance transfer interest charge ( {$10.00} ), that has occurred monthly in slightly varying amounts. He learned from the Chase AARP representative that the charge goes back to at least XX/XX/XXXX, and they would further investigate. Upon request, I received the XX/XX/XXXX statement ( most recent statement ) in paper form dated XX/XX/XXXX. I also received 2 letters ( attached ) from AARP Chase which do not clarify the situation. They mention amounts of {$100.00} and {$700.00}, that are NOT explained clearly. It seems to me that computer statements have lost some of the specificity of paper statements of the past. I can not imagine paying off a debt at {$10.00} monthly over the course of ten years. I would never have chosen such an option. I do not recall the original transaction. Attached are the responses to my inquiry.
