Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received an alert that there was a transfer in the amount of {$1600.00} out of my checking account. I did not authorize a transaction for that amount, so I logged into my bank account and found that someone has transferred {$1500.00} from my 1 year old son 's custodial savings account to our checking account and made a XXXX Payment in the amount of {$1600.00}. The thing was the name was familiar, so I contacted the person because we are good friends and of course it was not them, even the number attached to XXXX Payment did not match. I contacted the fraud department at Chase Bank right away and froze all accounts and reported the fraud. They said it was done through my login and device, however, I did not complete these transactions, obviously I was hacked. Next day went to the bank and closed all accounts and credit cards and opened new ones. I had noticed also there were small XXXX amounts being deducted the whole month of XXXX from his Savings until they transferred the large amount out. I put in a second claim and that one was refunded. However, they are now saying after a month of telling me one story after another. Chase has said they will not refund the money for it is not a fraudulent charge. It was not done under my account and usual device no flags came up. Even though I am disputing the payment and I did not make the payment. They told me there is nothing they will do. So now my son lost {$1500.00} through XXXX Payment to someone and they got away with it.

Complaint: On XX/XX/ 2019, I set up an online bill pay to be sent to a particular address XXXX XXXX XXXX and Chase sent the payment to the original creditor which is XXXX XXXX. I have called XXXX XXXX on numerous occasion regarding this payment and they have not forward it the payment to XXXX XXXX. Additionally, Chase will not refund the funds back to my account The only thing that Chase Bank said they can do is send me a proof of payment that the payment went to XXXX XXXX XXXX. Due to the fact that Chase Bank sent this money to XXXX XXXX in error, they should be required to send me my money back in the amount of {$690.00}.

There have been complications, and I asked for a full accounting, in writing, of what is due, They agreed and also said the payoff date would be XX/XX/XXXX, which would give me time to review the paperwork. I am a victim of identity theft, and I did not make or authorize these charges. I am requesting that the charges be removed, that any finance and other charges related to the fraudulent amount be credited, as well, and that I receive an accurate statement. This request is made pursuant to the Fair Credit Billing Acts amendments to the Truth in Lending Act, 15 U.S.C. 1666-1666b, 12 C.F.R. 226.13. See also 12 C.F.R. 226.12 ( b ). Enclosed are copies of my Identity Theft Report, my Colorado drivers license, and flight itinerary, showing that I was not in town or at my house to receive or sign for any packages, supporting my position. They do not want to listen to anything I have to say. They told me that I have to write a letter to Chase Executive office. Also please send me all the information you have received for the retailers. Once I receive this information, hope fully including what was purchased and the tracking information. Complaint: I opened a bank account with Chase Bank in XXXX XXXX Tx. A week after i deposited a check, my funds are still not available. I've called the bank and asked them to remove the hold. They claim the hold is due to my address not being verified. I did verify my address with the bank representative, using my Texas state identification card. Complaint: My name Is mr. XXXX residing in XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Somebody got into my Chase acount and depositors {$450.00} dollars and sent some quick pay XXXX thing to XXXX. The acount closed and became restricted I called and they said it shows it opened with my IP address and was done from my phone the day before I had XXXX to my name and {$290.00} direct deposit on XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX so that went all into review why would I quick pay when I have virtually no money. They are going to close my acount in 6 days and I did nothing. This guy XXXX from the fraud department said I cant do anything and was rude and blunt. He said my relationship will end. But I called the number in the letter I got and called the number and talked to XXXX he got me the funds located to the branch and I got it and XXXX said that was not possible even though on XX/XX/XXXX I was told it was. I would also look into XXXX because he gave me false information that caused distress on me. But really Im an honest guy and I would love to continue to bank with chase

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I deposited a check with JP Morgan Chase in XXXX, Texas. The check was my payroll check from the XXXX XXXX. The check had a small tear from when we opened it on the bottom perforated envelope, but I included all parts of the check in the deposit. The bank accepted the deposit and I went my way. I learned two days later, that Chase had put a 'hold ' on the check. I later, on XX/XX/XXXX, got a letter from Chase- their first correspondence or notice, that a hold had been put on the account because they 'were n't sure the check would be cashed by the issuing bank ''. I called Chase on XX/XX/XXXX, a recorded call, and was told the bank was holding the check 7 business days- 12 days in total, to see that it cleared. I contacted XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and explained what had happened, asked them to stop payment on the original check and reissue. They had me fill out a form and went to work on getting me a new check. Later that day, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX sent me a note explaining the check had already been cashed and funded by XXXX, and sent me a copy of the Chase/XXXX transaction completed on XXXX XXXX the day after I deposited the check. I sent Chase a secure message on XX/XX/XXXX noting they had the funds, that their reason for 'holding ' the deposit was moot since the bank had cashed the check before they even mailed me their letter. I asked again, as I did on XX/XX/XXXX, for interest for them holding my monies and that they release the check to my account. At this point I am filing a complaint for Chase illegally holding these funds, lieing to me about the process and why and refusing to release my funds. I want my funds, interest and whatever penalty I am due.

Complaint: On XX/XX/19, at approximately XXXX hours, i responded to a XXXX advertisement selling XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX tickets. The seller, who referred to himself as " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' and used cell phone number XXXX, told me to use the Chase bank " quickpay '' application to send him the money, and he would then forward me the tickets. After forwarding {$280.00} to his email address ( XXXX ) and bank account, i stopped receiving communication from the seller. I contacted my bank ( JP Morgan Chase ) and asked what they can do to investigate the sellers bank account and they refused to investigate. I thought that since the quick pay was apart of Chase 's application, they would protect any fraudulent activity that occurred on their service.
