Complaint: my mother sent me funds from her account to my account via XXXX through Chase bank. Both her and I both bank with Chase. Our accounts are also linked together. She sent me XXXX via XXXX and Chase stopped the fund transaction and also blocked my online access to all my accounts. I was never notified of the blocked accounts until I went online with Chase to pay my bills on line. I call the number that Chase said to call to unblock my account and 2 hours later on the phone they would not unblock my accounts. they put me on hold to check my account for 20 min then hung up, I had to call back and start all over trying to fix the problem with my account. My mother accounts and mine are all linked together so they should have seen this. When I went into the Chase branch the worker called the Chase number and they unblocked my account but for 2 days I did not have access to my accounts online.Chase dose not care about there customer to send a fraud alert to inform the customer that there is a problem with there account. Just leave them in the dark even thought there are many verification Chase use to check a persons identification.

Complaint: Chase keeps denying my credit increase request when my payment history is sound. They denied my credit when I had a good score and denied it when I had a bad score. Speaking with someone there at Chase said something to the effect that they use " judgmental lending '' meaning it is arbitrary. They claim to use my credit score/report but this is a smokescreen. I tried to contact the cowards at Chase but the person who responded to my last complaint always goes to voicemail.

Complaint: I recently paid off the entire balance of my Chase Sapphire credit card to the amount of $ XXXX in one large payment- XX/XX/2019. Have never missed a payment-never been late. The VERY next day, after the payment was received and posted,, apparently this triggered an account review, of some kind ... Chase then REDUCED my {$8500.00} credit limit by XXXX XXXX dollars to just XXXX XXXX dollars. When I called, clearly upset, I got the runaround from supervisor after supervisor, until I was told I would have to agree to a HARD INQUIRY review just to see if the reduction could be reversed. After over 45 minutes of very intrusive, sometimes inappropriate financial, employment, family and credit report questions and, worse, suppositions/- including why my credit card was maxed in the first place ( umm- unexpected disability and related medical expenses?!? - isnt that line of inquiry illegal anyway?! ) ... I was merely told Nope, sorry, too bad-theres nothing we can do ... .although, as a side note, this supervisor did fully admit that the initial account review done by computer the day before was inaccurate in some of its credit report findings after his further manual review- his name was XXXX, btw. In the end, it didnt matter, and I got the proverbial rug pulled out from me after paying a VERYsignificant amount of money in the honorable cause of paying this credit debt off and do the right thing. Absolutely AWFUL the way I was treated, and more importantly- the whole excruciating process. Not to mention the loss of {$8000.00} of my credit card limit, along with more importantly, on my credit report utilization rate and credit score ... JUST AFTER paying the whole card off in the first place! One last note- amazing to me when the card had a high revolving balance, they had NO PROBLEM with the XXXX limit then and the 25 % APR in interest they were charging me for it every month!!!

Complaint: During the process of taking a mortgage for my apt purchase, Chase mortgage representative offered my a incentives to close on the mortgage. one of them was getting {$500.00} when 1 do 3 things 1. Open a Checking account with Chase 2. Paperless mortgage statements 3. auto debit the mortgage payment from that account In the email I received from the banker with the details, there was no mention of a time frame to open this account within to qualify. Based on the benefits, I closed the mortgage with Chase. When I tried to open the account 8 months after closing, after 10 calls, Chase lets me know that I am not eligible as the time frame to qualify is only 60 days. They also let me know that they cant do anything as the banker who closed the loan with me is no longer with the firm. The XXXX cash bonus was one of the reasons I opened my mortgage with Chase and they not honoring what was offered makes me feel cheated. Not attaching mail proof as I have details on the mortgage. but have shared the mail with JP morgan. I can attach if needed

Trouble during payment process

Complaint: Our conventional mortgage was originated in XX/XX/XXXX which included a PMI payment. On XX/XX/XXXX a request was put in by myself to our Mortgage specialist, XXXX XXXX, to apply for an appraisal to remove the PMI. XXXX corresponded back asking if I believe the house was worth {$330000.00} which was the amount home needed to appraise for in order to remove the PMI. I responded yes and to move forward with the request. We received that paperwork from chase a few days later completed along with a {$490.00} check for the appraisal. The appraisal was preformed on XX/XX/XXXX and I followed up with XXXX to see if he had heard anything about the appraisal. XXXX responded back that the house had appraised for {$340000.00} and the PMI was to be removed. He elaborated that we were to receive a letter soon stating the PMI has been removed but to make normal mortgage payments until we receive that letter. We received a letter on XXXX starting the PMI cancellation was denied do to the appraisal not meeting the requirements. The letter then elaborated the necessary requirements in order to do so which I understood. I placed an initial call to Chase mortgage on XXXX and discussed the events that had occurred and questions why an employee who services mortgages stated the PMI was to be removed then we receive a denial letter. The representative understood my grievance and ask I fax the emails in to the escalation team. I would hear back from them once it was reviewed. I called back a week later to follow up in which I was told they had a log of me calling but no further information on file and the emails were never received. I stated my story again and I was told a member of the escalation team would give me a call in the next 2-3 days. I never heard from a team member and received another letter from Chase ( same letter as the initial denial letter ) stating they would not remove the PMI which leads me to understand they received the emails. I called back Chase on XX/XX/XXXX which I stated I wanted to speak to a member of the escalation team to discuss the emails. I was transferred to a woman named XXXX which I discussed my case with in which she said to fax her the emails directly and she would discuss them would her manager and give me a call within 48 hours. I never received a call. I placed another call to chase the following week stating my case and saying in never received a call. The representative explained more information about the denial but I repeatedly told her I understand why I was denied but wanted to discuss the emails in which the Chase employee stated that the PMI would be removed. She said she would put another request in for the escalation team to call me, I never received a call. My final phone call was on XXXX which I discussed the circumstances of my case with a representative and told the individual I would like to speak to a " decision maker '' today in which I was told that was not possible but she would put in a request for someone to reach out to me in the next 2 days. I explained that this was the final call before I take legal action and file a complaint. I never received a call.

Complaint: I made a purchase from XXXX where I was buying a prep course on XXXX XX/XX/2017 in the amount of XXXX. The course was not as described and I provided documentation ( emails ) from the vendor describing the total price of the course and the purpose of the course. Following this review class, XXXX significantly updated the class since it was horrible. So I attempted to dispute the issue with Chase, but the vendor said I only purchased books. I provided additional documentation that I already purchased the books and Chase denied the charge back. I have made several attempts to get my money back but neither the vendor nor Chase is reviewing the documentation. Chase should have reviewed the information I provided. Why should the customer be responsible if the company sells a product but delievers a different one. Then they dispute what they sold.

I tried to contact the seller, but he ignores each email I sent him, when I asked for full refund, which he promised me. Chase bank has all the documents, included text messages and it is clear that he is a big liar like you, people from XXXX Chase bank and it is clear discrimination. You, Mr. XXXX XXXX, you're a XXXX, but 63 % of that capital is dirty money, I mean it's the money of robbed people, like me. It is very easy to distribute millions in bonuses to those who sit at the trough, but it is dishonest. There is nothing wrong to make a big fortune, but only if it is done honestly. But a dishonest business is never a good, honest business, and for that are punishments in the Law of God. As I wrote to you, US banks are robbing about XXXX XXXX each year of clients ( XXXX fee ), you manipulate on clients accounts to pull dishonestly way money from them. You think that no one can stop this crime? First of all, Im not a liar, like everyone and have proof for all my words and also regarding the XXXX fees, I will punish all the people who harmed me, not physically, but spiritually. I dont even need your names. This lesson you all will remember for very, very long. No more money from me, I will not pay you any cent, you are very bad people. As I informed you long time ago, I will not use more this XXXX bank. It is your business how to take the money from the fraudster account, I believe that you have problem to do so, but I don't care about it. In my opinion, cheater ( the seller ) with cheaters ( the people from Chase ) should find an easy find way to fix this problem. I am accusing you of discriminating and manipulating on clients ' accounts. I've lost thousands of dollars through you. You have refused to help me many times when I asked for action in cases of frauds. You started working after I wrote a complaint to the Customer Financial Protection office. When I asked for help at a bank branch, that person called the customer service, and he said he will not help me, because I know why, for your complaints - he said. I heard the same when I asked for a {$15000.00} business loan, I will not get credit for my complaints, said a man from customer service. Last year, I was in the bank and demanded to completely stop the overdrawn fees. I signed the document, but this is a scam, because after that you've still stolen my money for overdrawn fees. I have evidence for that. You do the same on other clients ' accounts. In XXXX, XXXX there is no such thievery, if the account is missing a fund, such an account is blocked. And it should be so, but it is not so when almost all banks are in XXXX hands. I have now very good credit score, and you want to destroy it? Some time ago, after I lost {$250000.00} by XXXX XXXX XXXX bank and also others cheaters, I have lost my patience for the people from the left ( XXXX ). Be sure that I will punish all the bad people, when you return to the spirit world. Only this way it always works, if it is not possible to solve a problem an honest way.

XXXX received it, and weeks went by, no response from XXXX, so we placed a dispute with Chase. XXXX responded back, saying we returned the wrong item, we disputed this with a picture of the product we returned. We believe Chase 's decision in this case was unfair, we returned the correct product, and now have nothing, and is being forced to pay for the laptop even though we do not have the laptop anymore.

Complaint: This has been an ongoing issue since XXXX of 2018. I have a disputed {$450.00} Charge that I submitted evidence to justify the dispute. This charge is from XXXX. They did not provide the services paid for. They were to insure shipments, and didn't. I had to cover the repairs to equipment shipped. I have sent them e-mail transcripts, itemized bills, and they never bothered to process them until they claim XXXX. I have disputed this with Chase. I can not get consistent information from their executive staff who claim they had already credited this in XXXX. It now shows back on my card for XXXX, XXXX. This had been permanently cleared per my discussions with their representatives in XXXX. They now claim that it is too late to dispute. This comedy of errors is their fault due to misinformation, poor process control, and flat out false and misleading information by their people. They have allowed other merchants to charge my account utilizing cards that were blocked and replaced by their fraud team. Any attempt to rectify any of this is simply tossed from one department to the next. They seem more concerned that I recording the calls now than solving the problem. I need this {$450.00} removed.

Complaint: In earlyXX/XX/2019 I attempted to open a chase checking account with the intent of taking advantage of the {$200.00} sign on bonus. I started to apply online but shortly into it there was an issue identifying me so it said i would have to apply in person. I did so on XX/XX/XXXX and then set up direct deposit the following week. According to the front page of the chase website, that is all that is required to earn the bonus. Quote : " To receive the {$200.00} checking bonus : 1 ) Open a new Chase Total Checking account, which is subject to approval ; AND 2 ) Have your direct deposit made to this account within 60 days of account opening. Your direct deposit needs to be an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension or government benefits ( such as Social Security ) from your employer or the government. After you have completed all the above checking requirements, we'll deposit the bonus in your new account within 10 business days. '' As of XX/XX/XXXX the funds were not deposited so we called the branch as well as chase support. They all stated that nothing could be done since we did not have a 'coupon ' ; of which the requirements above nor the bank teller made any mention of when opening the account. If there are more requirements to receive the bonus then they need to be plainly mentioned. As it stands the paragraph on the front of the chase website is fraudulent and false advertising.
