Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered that two Chase Quickpay transactions were initiated without my authorization for the amounts of {$1500.00} and {$2000.00} from my checking account. As soon as I saw, I called Chase and they were able to lock my online access to the account. They advised me to close the account and open a new one as well as change my passwords and account username, so I went to their branch and did all that. The banker tried to help me get in contact with the fraud department to see if I could get my money back and what the process would be. I was told that the fraud department would investigate what would happen and in about 10 days they would make a decision.
I called again a week later and found out that they had closed my claim on the XX/XX/XXXX, saying that it looked legitimate because it used to same IP address as 62+ other transactions so they didn't look further into it. I've called them once more after that and returned to the bank, speaking to a different banker, but nothing. They wouldn't open it again without any further proof. So I contacted the person named as the recipient, but because it was using two different emails that go to two different bank accounts, I was only able to get in touch with one. That person said they did not receive any money from me in any amount. The other email bounced back immediately ( a copy for which I've included below ). I'm in the process of filing a police report and I've already put a fraud alert on my accounts with XXXX and I've also filed a complaint with the FTC ( included ).
On top of this, that {$3500.00} was not supposed to be in my checking account. They were divided into two different savings accounts for different purposes and I was not the one who initiated the transfer. In fact, I thought there was a glitch the weekend of the XXXX because one savings account had been XXXX-ed into my checking, moving {$1700.00}. I immediately transferred the money back ( the {$1700.00} ) and that, too, was posted on the statements on the XXXX. However the money that I transferred back into my savings account never went in.
Additionally, I've checked my device history and there are three instances where an unfamiliar device ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) accessed my account. On my third call with the fraud department, I found out that the XXXX transactions were actually initiated on the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and were only posted on the XX/XX/XXXX. This was news to me because I had checked my account on the XX/XX/XXXX and I still had all my money in my savings accounts. There was not {$500.00} in my checking account to transfer, much more {$3500.00}. There had not been {$1700.00} transferred in. And on my device history, the dates the XXXX XXXX XXXX had accessed my account coincided with the dates of the transactions and postings.

Complaint: Chase put my social security number on the XXXX list preventing me from getting a merchant account. I never had a merchant account before so I do not know how or why they are reporting this. I have reached out to them and they said they would remove it but they have not. This is irreparably hurting my ability to earn money for myself and my family.

Complaint: Chase Bank allowed multiple companies to charge my card without my knowledge for over {$20000.00}. I have disputed the charges with Chase beginning in 2017. They now say after reaching out to CFBP in XXXX after 90 days, that I waited to long to go to you for them to be able to do anything. I have it from the merchants that charged the card that they did not have authorization, verbal or written, to make the charges and that the charges were not made in person. I have become exhausted, and can not afford an attorney. The business for which the charges were made has been dissolved and then all of a sudden the debt is showing up on my personal report. For years, I have been disputing and their over seas customer service did nothing, now when their main office is actually looking at it, they say it is too late. It is never too late to do the right thing, reimbursing the fraudulent charges, or removing the fraudulent business balance from my report is the right thing.

Complaint: My AMAZON Visa Card with CHASE, account number XXXX was lost or stolen and incurred charges totaling to {$100000.00} statement with due date on XX/XX/2019 I've contacted the bank with phone number XXXX, spoke to customer service rep named XXXX and reported the fraud on XX/XX/2019, I also spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/2019 and explained the same thing.. I clearly stated that I personally have nothing to do with any of charges posted on that card. Today XX/XX/2019 I received letter stating that my claim was partially denied based on the matter that I personally " received benefit from transactions '' in amount totaling to {$36000.00}. They provided me with new number XXXX XXXX for additional assistance.
I spoke to representative with the name of XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX and clearly stated that I have nothing to do with those transactions and requested to have those charges removed from that account.

Complaint: Senior citizen victim of social security gift card scam on XX/XX/19 where I had to purchase gift cards and scratch them, photo them and email to scammer at : XXXX.
I was told by scammer my SS # was used in criminal activity and in order for me to be issued a new number I had to do what they told me.
Chase Credit card was for {$4000.00} in XXXX XXXX gift cards.. I called the credit card on XX/XX/19 and wrote to them on XX/XX/19 after I received letter from Bank stating the charges would appear on my statement because I had made the purchases. I also wrote letter to president of XXXX XXXX and asked them to give me credit for the scam gift cards. NO REPLY to me to date.
I now know this is a scam from calling social security office, but at the time it happened to me the number on the phone was from social security so I fell for the scam.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX someone changed our email address linked to our chase account. I didnt do this nor did my husband. I called chase right away and told them we didnt do this. The woman I spoke with changed the email back to mine and assured me everything would be fine but keep an eye on the account just in case. Later that night there was a card replacement charge on my account for {$5.00}. I didnt notice this fee until XX/XX/XXXX. Someone withdrew {$1500.00}, {$1400.00} from our checking account and {$1000.00} from our savings from an atm in XXXX XXXX. We reside in XXXX XXXX, XXXX. We have not been to XXXX XXXX in over 20 years. I called chase the moment I saw this and started a claim. It is now XX/XX/XXXX, over a month later and we still do not have our money. They did give us back the {$1000.00} to our savings. They refunded us the {$1500.00} and {$1400.00} but then took it away again just 2 days ago, saying our claim was denied. We keep getting told the same thing. That it was our card used with the chip in XXXX XXXX. I sent them documentation from my work that I was in fact in XXXX XXXX, XXXX at the time this occurred. I just dont know what to do at this point.

Complaint: This purpose of this letter is to request assistance in recovering {$4000.00} from Chase Visa for an unauthorized and invalid charge.
According to Chase Visa 's supervisors, Chase 's Disputes mishandled my dispute by not reviewing it carefully, continuing to request information, and allowing so much time to lapse that they dismissed the clai.
My claim for a refund of {$4000.00} is valid because I did not receive the services as described and which the vendor agreed to.
XX/XX/2018, I hired XXXX XXXX to redesign the color 8-course graphics. However, that is not the work she presented.
XX/XX/2018, In an email, XXXX XXXX admitted that she did not complete the work for which she was hired, and she apologized.
XX/XX/2018, However, within 24 hours of her apology, XXXX XXXX quit. She did not attempt to remedy the situation within 48 hours, as her contract promises.
XX/XX/2018, XXXX XXXX helped herself to {$4000.00} of my {$7100.00} deposit without providing any design products or accounting for her time.
I have nothing to show for the {$4000.00} withdrawn from my Chase Visa account.
Despite the fact that Chase Visa was provided with reams of detailed documentation and two letters from an expert in the field of design validating that the services described were not delivered, Chase Visa has failed to keep their agreement to provide me with cardholder protection.

Problem during payment process
Complaint: I signed up for automatic payments to be processed by the credit card company ( Chase ). The terms do state that the amount of the payment may be reduced considering credits from purchase returns, etc. It also states that it will not advise what amount it will transfer in advance of the actual payment. It also does not state that the amount they reduce the payment amount could be to a level below the minimum required by the account terms to satisfy the minimum payment for the month.
After following up with Chase regarding no payment having been processed for the month, I was told that not only did they reduce the payment to zero due to refunds in the following billing cycle, but that I would receive notice by mail that due to lack of payment, my account would be closed in the next month. They are effectively considering the account to be in default.
I consider this to be a breach of terms on Chase 's part for failure to ensure that the minimum payment required for the account was met through our agreement for automatic payments. I consider this to be fraudulent as they are creating a deliberate situation for Customers to be considered in default on their account.

Complaint: I have been in business with Chase for a long time and never had an issue with the payment on credit cards. One they they decided to reduce my credit and closed my business credit account. I called them and talked to them about it. They explained that they were reducing my credit because of my debt ratio. I explained that if your going to charge me for all of my mortgages should should add the rental income to the mix. They refused. At the time my credit score was over XXXX. When they closed my business account my balance was XXXX. A few months later they said I didn't pay a bill on the business account for some interest that was added after they closed the account. I explained that they closed the account and that I was never notified I owed the money. No statement was received, no phone calls nothing. They issued a late payment to my credit and it has put my credit down 50+ points. I called them and paid the bill but still my credit was damaged. If you check I have been with them for years and I can not remember ever being late. They will not take the late payment charge off my credit report and they treat a long time member with no respect.
