Complaint: I requested Chase to remove private mortgage insurance ; they conducted an appraisal and determine my home 's value to be much lower than it actual is. There are properties in my neighborhood selling for {$310000.00} without a swimming pool. My house has a swimming pool and is identical to house in size and build date and Chase appraised my house for less than {$310000.00} because they do not want to remove the PMI. The county tax assessor 's office tax assessed my house at a higher price than the houses without swimming pools but Chase fails to acknowledge this fact.

I noticed that all my funds ( {$1600.00} ) had been withdrawn out of my account that I did not authorize using chase quickpay through XXXX. I immediately called the bank to let them know my account had been fraudulently accessed and all my money was stolen from my account. They froze my account and stated that they would conduct a fraud investigation. I then changed all my passwords, usernames, and email and opened a new account due to this fraud. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I called chase to check the status of my fraud claim only for them to say that they found no fraud and that they were unable to refund me my money that was stolen from my account and that I should seek outside sources.

Complaint: On Sunday, XX/XX/2019, I was the victim of fraud. My debit card and associated account information was compromised and fraudulently used to initiate several unauthorized money transfer transactions, including the {$980.00} processed and posted XX/XX/19 by Chase Bank via the debit card ending in XXXX associated with my deposit checking account ending in XXXX. The transactions were acknowledged by XXXX XXXX as being fraudulent ( Fraud Case # XXXX ). Upon notice of the unauthorized transactions appearing on my account, I immediately called Chase Bank the same day ( XX/XX/19 ), specifically within less than two hours of the transaction taking place to stop the pending transactions from continuing to process and post. Chase failed to take any meaningful action upon my prompt notification and as a consequence served as a conduit for the fraudulent transactions to materialize. Furthermore, the fraud claim was negligently investigated and has resulted me with direct financial harm. Regulation E Consumer Protections Violated : When speaking to a representative from the Fraud Claims Department on XX/XX/19 around XXXX CST with XXXX ( unwilling to provide any other employee identifier ), I was informed that the claim had been denied as being unauthorized/fraud based on the information provided by Visa, no investigation occurred at the Chase. The information that was used to reach a conclusion was limited to confirming that the name and card information on the XXXX XXXX transaction matched mine. I do not see how this could be construed as a valid investigation. My debit card and account details were comprised so how absurd to understand that a team member of the investigations team considered that to be an adequate investigation. It was apparent the fraud investigator I spoke with lacked the competency, training and skills to complete an adequate investigation. XXXX XXXX acknowledged this fraudulent transaction was a transfer to XXXX where I do not have any nexus to. My sole history with using XXXX XXXX is limited to small dollar periodic transfers to a relative in XXXX. Chase has failed to conduct a reasonable, proper, or adequate investigation, as is required by federal law. Furthermore, when asked what I needed to do to appear or refute the claim decision, I was told there was nothing I could do beside file a complaint with my state regulator. I was not afforded the opportunity to review the documents used to reach the conclusion nor to refute the claim. Deceptive and misleading account features account agreement/Chase website Chase falsely misrepresents its Zero Liability Protection. The Deposit Account Agreement notes You are not liable for any unauthorized transactions, including transactions made at merchants, over the telephone, at ATMs or on the Internet, if you notify us promptly. I took prudent steps upon detecting unauthorized transactions and promptly notified Chase however am being held liable for fraudulent transactions perpetrated against my account. This has caused direct financial harm. 24/7 fraud monitoring did not alert me to several almost individual {$1000.00} transactions occurring against my account. The {$980.00} transaction part of this complaint was one of three transactions that totaled almost {$3000.00} within one day/short time frame. If I had not been vigilant of my account activity, Chases specialized tools to monitor fraud obviously did not detect the unusualness of these transactions back to back transactions. Deplorable customer service The fraud investigator indicated that nothing else could be done because Chase /Visa could not recoup the loss therefore I was not entitled to the final credit. In a matter of minutes, I was diminished to a fraud/financial loss of a financial institution rather than a consumer who had been a victim of fraud and wrongfully told the unauthorized transactions were valid. Ive been a loyal customer of Chase for more than a decade was until this experience prideful of being a Chase customer. The lost time, energy, and emotional stress in having to deal with this frustrating situation is unfathomable. Chase is not a financial institution I would recommend to anyone. My money can not be trusted at Chase and customers are not valued.

Complaint: yesturday i reported something over the phone and did not get a rpeort number so i am writing to you. i tried to call chase bank at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and could not get through for just under an hour. i then called their complaint center at XXXX to report this. he said they dont do that and i said i would report him to you. he rudely told me he did not care and dared me too. then he hung up. a report to you might have gotten thru at XXXX from operator XXXX. i could not get a complaint number and he said it would be on email-which it is not. i complained about chase once before and people are very rude now. if its not for you they may mismanage my account. why did they hang up if you cant help tell me who can since others have said you helped them on similar issues. addresses change at the bank with out my input or knowledge. is there something going on they dont want me to know because of a civil suit. id work with them if they gave information for an apprehension.

MORGAN CHASE, has managed to keep me from accessing my Online Checking Account by staging the debit card transaction to my account in the amount of {$160.00}, on XX/XX/XXXX and when I discovered the fraudulent debit to my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX I immediately contacted Chase and asked them to refund the money back to my account but at first CSR asked me if I gave my PIN to anyone, I told her yes, my daughter knows my PIN her reply was because I, had given my daughter my PIN that she could have made the charge without my knowledge I told the CSR my daughter and I live together she is my XXXX and has total charge of my affairs ; then the CSR said because the Chip was read that made it legitimate transaction and CHASE would not be refunding {$160.00} back to my account, I then explained to the CSR that the Chip could not have been read since the Card has been in my possession since XX/XX/XXXX, the last time I or my daughter was out of our Apartment and at an ATM, you need to have the actual Card for the Chip to be read, not just the PIN. So, with that the Manager of CHASE BANK CS got on the phone and assured me that a temporary credit of {$160.00} would be placed back into my account and a claim id number given to me XXXX, while Chase Bank investigate the phony ATM debit to my Checking Account and advised me let them Closeout my present Card ending in XXXX and they would issue me a New Card numbers ending in XXXX and I needed to create a New PIN, she also told me she would have the new card expedited and sent out by XXXX, I should receive my New Card in 1-2 business days and that it be in my possession by Friday, XX/XX/XXXX. My New Card never come ; so, all of the XXXX Holiday weekend I was without access to my checking account and my money! So, Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX Im calling CHASE BANK trying to find out why I dont have CHASE BANKING CARD, thats when the STONEWALLING, LIES and Veiled attempt to keep me from my money ; the CSR ON XX/XX/XXXX named XXXX XXXX, Sup. told me that the new card ending in XXXX was never processed so he would have to close it out and issue me another card ending in XXXX, expedite sending it by XXXX once again and I would receive it in 1-2 business days, by Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, my card never arrived ; I called CHASE BANK once more asking CSR, XXXX XXXX, Mgr. where is my card, he said my could not be trace since XXXX did not give them a TRACKING NUMBER, I told him that I have been ordering online for over thirty ( 30 ) years and its been my experience that XXXX gets the Sender the Order NO., Item NO. Description, Quantity and Price but the TRACKING NUMBER is sent to the Recipient of the merchandise so that they will know the Time and Date of Delivery! Its been two weeks now and I, XXXX XXXX XXXX am still without my CHASE BANKING CARD without a word from the Bank whatsoever on what action their taking to resolve my missing CHASE BANKING CARD problem, but its not like I can just walk into a JP. This isnt the first time that I have been deceive and betrayed by JP. Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I applied for a Home Equity Line of Credit with Chase Bank and was given a loan number. The process got underway and over the next several weeks I provided all the documents required for the approval process to move forward. I provided several years of paycheck stubs, W-2 's for the last 2 or 3 years, last 2-3 years of official Tax returns as well as homeowners insurance, property tax statements, investment property documents among many other things. All along the same time my Tax Attorney & Tax Accountant ( CPA ) provided me guidance and gave me no reason why I would not be approved for a HELOC. The home was appraised at over {$630000.00} and I owe just over {$310000.00} on the home to the bank which gives me just at 50 % equity in my property. I was approved by Chase for {$180000.00} HELOC which is roughly what was allowed by lending guidelines for me to get as a loan. Long story short is that I was contacted by the bank on XX/XX/2019 and was told by XXXX that they could not extend me a HELOC due to my income to debt ratio. I make about {$130000.00} per year in income from my employer, have about {$8000.00} in rental income each year and have equity in my home as well as all my other investment properties are completely debt free. I have no other debts, no credit card debt, no automobile loans at all and have a FICO credit score of XXXX. When XXXX contacted me about this and gave me the news that Chase could not extend me a loan ; I pushed back and disagreed with the decision. I pushed back even further and told her that if Chase could not extend me a loan then I needed Chase to send me a letter stating such and why as well as send me all the paperwork that went into the decision as to why I was being denied the loan. I then got a call from Chase today XX/XX/2019 where they further explained their decision but after further review they were going to extend me a credit line of {$28000.00} or so. I find this really hard to believe that with my credit score & equity in home that the bank can not provide me access to my own equity in my home. I believe I have been deceived by Chase Bank as their own employees can not agree on what I qualify for by changing their position after I pushed back at the initial decline of credit. I have not received a loan decline letter yet but should receive this shortly. I am not sure if why they would not loan someone with great income, impeccable credit score and no debt other than my primary residence a loan but something is not right about this. Is it because I am a Veteran, is it because of my age, I don't meet their " quota ''? I plan on finding out the answer and will not pursue this matter to the fullest extent of the law and will spend money to prove it to myself or them as to who is right or wrong.

Complaint: Chase advertised a {$500.00} rebate if I sign up for their mortgage, so I did. They never paid me the {$500.00}. They said I didn't meet all their conditions, but their conditions were misleading and not clear. Mortgage closed on XX/XX/XXXX. At the closing, I signed a paperwork with escrow and my Chase mortgage bankers, saying I will use my chase checking account to direct pay my mortgage, and I asked Chase mortgage bankers whether that will be all, for me to quality for the {$500.00}. They said yes. I then went overseas to XXXX for a month for work, when I came back in XXXX, I didn't get the XXXX, so I patiently waited another month. In XXXX, I emailed my Chase mortgage banker, inquiring where the XXXX is. He got me in touch with their complaint department. Chase complaint department told me I didn't sign up for paperless billing so I did immediately but they said it's too late, over two months now. BUT, 1 ) Chase mortgage banker told me at closing that it's all good and I don't need to do anything else to qualify for the incentive ; 2 ) I went overseas ; 3 ) I was only less than a month late to sign up for paperless ; 4 ) all my other chase accounts were already paperless so I had no idea the mortgage payment wasn't set up by default to do paperless ; 5 ) I never received any paper mortgage statement until XXXX. This is deceptive marketing : Chase put the {$500.00} rebate in big bold letters then somewhere using very small font to hide the conditions to quality for it. They set up a trap for me to not qualify - while all my other Chase accounts were already paperless, they set my mortgage payment to paper payment, and they never sent any paper statement until after 2 months when it's too late! How could someone with busy work schedule remember all their fine prints? I tried to reason with them : their 2-3 paper statements don't worth {$500.00} but they still denied my claim. I have an XXXX degree but I still overlooked this small fine print, imagine how many other people will miss this. Chase should credit what they owe me.
