Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I purchased an excursion for shark diving at the XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX for {$870.00}. Someone in the party became sick and we instantly tried to cancel. The resorts response was to only offer 50 % of the purchase price and I did not agree. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Chase to dispute the charge, the rep mistakenly filed it under fraud which I told him it was not. Then I get a call that my card is closing and questions about the charge for {$870.00} and I explained the situation and I advised them the rep put it under fraud but I told him the story I did not tell him anything about fraud. Now my card is closed, I still owe {$870.00} and Chase then adds another charge for {$870.00} on my account in error. I call again XX/XX/XXXX and explain the situation and explain that the card has been closed and the rep mislead me and advised to send a message online saying I would like to dispute the charge. I call again XX/XX/XXXX following up and inquiring why I was charge twice. I was on the phone for 2 hours, transferred between 4 different department supervisor. They attempted to contact the resort with the same result as me and the last supervisor tells me " I can not do anything '' and hangs up.

Complaint: My home mortgage is with Chase Bank. Beginning about XX/XX/2018 Chase Bank began to show the date of the latest consumer payment in the top right corner of mailed statement. I like using the Chase app to schedule my payment every month on their website. I schedule the payment for the 1st ; if it is a holiday - I scheduled it for the day prior. I schedule the Chase payment during the middle of each month for the first of the upcoming month. I have never been late at all with this mortgage. However, I just noticed the other day that, in small print on the monthly mortgage statement, it states what date they received a payment. On my statements, there are many received payment dates of the XXXX and of the XXXX. They are not posting correctly ; all were scheduled for the first of the month ; or the day prior if the first is a holiday. And, each month, it is a Chase Bank App that I schedule on. I still have all the composition books I used during the last few years. I am simply asking for the data ( of when Chase received by " checks '' over their database ) to be corrected on my records. Instead, it reflects the date when the checks cleared the bank.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I deposited a check from a Freelance company that I thought was legitimate, the check was returned on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I woke up with card fraud. I typically work early and I rushed. I did not check that this happened until later in the day. Did not receive a confirmation on a XXXX transaction made with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) but I did receive a {$500.00} transaction notice but I received it the night prior on XX/XX/XXXX at night. I sometimes do not check my emails right away. I called immediately as soon as I was made aware of these charges. I realized that all of the occurrences happened simultaneously and I have proof that the fake check was not created by me but sent to me. I did not however authorize any of the other transactions. I have been trying to talk to Chase regarding this for the past 3 weeks. My initial temporary credit was deducted this Saturday because the claim I opened was denied. I have been going back and forth with Chase giving me vague information about providing more information or evidence without specifying anything. I then finally got them to tell me that providing an IP address as documentation can allow me to reopen it, but again they were extremely hard to work with and this was getting out of hand. I did start to raise my voice in this matter during my calls out of frustration because no one seemed to believe me or help me. I did NOT c create this fake check and I did NOT authorize any of these payments at all

Complaint: Attempted to pay online entire outstanding balance of a Chase Vise card on or about XX/XX/19, using a check issued against XXXX XXXX. Chase website returned as though the payment was processed, and deducted the payment. Some 6 to 10 days later, Chase reversed the payment as " returned. '' There was no notice nor any explanation provided to me of any kind about this " return, '' I discovered it by going online myself. During the interim time delay caused entirely by Chase, they added a {$28.00} " return item '' fee and a {$100.00} finance charge for another period. I have inquired with XXXX, and the check is good. XXXX indicates, as does Chase, that it was Chase that chose to reject the payment ( again, no explanation given, and no notice that they would, or already had, rejected the payment ). I have requested an explanation from Chase, and their customer service reps say nothing in response. Now, I can no longer input the routing and account info from XXXX XXXX into Chase 's online payment portal. Chase appears to be purposefully impeding the pay-off of their balance in order to continue to levy finance and other charges. I would like the {$28.00} + {$100.00} charges reversed, and for CPFB to investigate this practice.

Complaint: This is the second complaint I have filed, the first was closed due to Chase properly recording payments for all of 1 month. They keep accepting payments but do not credit them to my account and it looks like I am behind on my mortgage. They stopped recording payments on XX/XX/10 with the exception of 1 payment made on XXXX. I am attaching the bank records with the payments made and the bank statements that as you will see don't capture the payments being made 2 times a month. Just for clarification, the payment of {$1300.00} that you will see credited on XX/XX/10 was made through a different bank account and is not on the list from XXXX XXXX so no payments since XXXX have been credited. I don't understand why they can't straighten this out!

Complaint: I have been a customer of JP Morgan Chase via its Chase Freedom Card for over 10 years. I notified the company that I wanted to collect my points in the form of cash a few months ago. Recently I was traveling with a minimal balance on the card. When I called to collect the points I was told that since my account was past due owing to one missed payment ( the total amount of which was less than 1/7th the amount I'm due in cash from points conversion ) they couldn't pay me anything for the points anymore. This appears to be fraud to me and I want to pursue this matter to the fullest extent of the law.

Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/2019 I purchased a set of XXXX golf clubs iron set on XXXX and paid for them on XXXX VIA my VISA credit card. The golf clubs were not as described and I filed a dispute with XXXX, XXXX and my credit card company. My credit card company gave me a temporary credit while they investigated. The person that I bought the golf clubs from XXXX XXXX sued me in small claims court and I was court ordered to pay him the {$1800.00} VIA certified check. I paid Mr. XXXX the certified check on XX/XX/2019.XXXX told me ( after I filed a XXXX XXXX XXXX complaint against them ) that they had to hold my funds for 75 days per federal law. The 75 days was up on XXXX XX/XX/2019 and XXXX told the XXXX XXXX XXXX that they deposited the {$1800.00} back into my credit card company under my account number. My credit card claims that they never receives these funds and told me that my case is CLOSED and they refuse to redeposit the funds back into my account. I have paid for these golf clubs TWICE. Once VIA XXXX and once VIA CERTIFIED CHECK. I simply want either XXXX or my credit card company to REFUND my {$1800.00} that I have PAID to XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, Chase Bank sent me a letter responding to my previous dispute of eight transactions totaling {$15000.00} in fraudulent charges on my credit accounts. The letter does not address any of the points I made in my complaint dated XX/XX/XXXX. Both letters are attached. The letter claims that on XX/XX/XXXX, I told an employee of Chase Bank that these charges " were valid but [ I ] wanted to dispute them. '' This is in no way accurate, as I have never indicated that these charges are or could possibly be valid ( as I mentioned in my original complaint to Chase ). The letter also states that signed receipts and sales slips from the merchant were made available to me by Chase in a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, but in fact, this letter includes receipts for only two of the eight transactions that I am disputing. I was not able to access this letter until two months after it was posted, as all of the several Chase employees I had spoken to by phone indicated that I should expect to receive a response to my complaint via USPS, and none of them mentioned that I should look for a response on the companys website. In XX/XX/XXXX an employee finally informed me that this document was available online ; I reviewed the document, and on XX/XX/XXXX I provided additional documentation. In their letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, Chase Bank reports that they closed the disputes because I did not respond when they reached out for more information via the secure portal on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. As I previously stated, no one at Chase Bank had made me aware that there had been any response or any request for additional information until XX/XX/XXXX. Additionally, in their response to my previous CFPB complaint, Chase states, We attempted to reach you by phone on XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX, to acknowledge receipt of your inquiry. The phone number was disconnected. This is completely false. Please see attached statements from my cell phone provider proving active and current service from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: I contacted Chase onXX/XX/XXXX to advise of my flight being canceled & an incurred hotel expense. I have the Chase Reserve Card that has travel insurance. I was told that a claim form would be emailed to me. Two weeks later I contacted them again when I had not received anything. They advised the email had not sent. I submitted the claim form and all requested documents. They then advised the documents would be reviewed within 5 days. Two weeks later I called for an update, they said they'd do it then. I then got an email requesting documents that I had already submitted. I submitted them a second time. Chase seems to be delaying in an effort to not pay the claim in accordance with their cardmember agreement.
