Complaint: XXXX this year two big expenses came up ; one the air broke during 100 degree weather, and second, my horse of 26 years got ill and then died. The Ac cost {$2400.00}, the death of horse, {$1000.00}. Together they pushed my finances over my limits. I began by borrowing what use to be called a " payday '' loan, but is now called a " flex Loan ''. This got to be so expensive that I ( quite foolishly ) took out another to pay the first. This became EIGHT/8 " loans '' from " XXXX ", " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' type high-interest lenders. In XXXX I finally decided to address the issues with each one. Up until that point I had not missed any payments! I CLOSED the bank account that I had been using to pay them by auto debit. A new card was issued, also. So I began contacting ALL lenders to make payment arrangements that would " make everyone happy '' and to let them know I was NOT TRYING TO SKIP MY BILL, just pay smaller amount for longer period and HOPE they might lower interest rates!
The first lender ( XXXX ) stated I owed {$780.00} and they would drop it to {$350.00} if I paid in 2 payments, which I did! However, the first and biggest interest lender, XXXX, was the second lender I called. It has NOT turned out well!
XXXX HAS STOLED XXXX from my " new '' bank account!!! I DID NOT authorize this payment!! On XX/XX/XXXX, I called them and asked for help/consideration in giving me more time and smaller payments! I stated I could only pay them {$200.00} per month, and was willing to give them the {$200.00}. payment at that moment, by phone. This was on the NEW debit card that WAS NOT part of any agreement I had with them! They took the {$200.00} that night, XX/XX/XXXX.
However, on the second of XXXX a huge almost {$400.00} amount was deducted from my new bank account by XXXX!!! I immediately called my bank and went to see local manager to REVERSE this as unauthorized! Bank manager stated that since I gave/authorized them the {$200.00} in XXXX, they were allowed to take this $ XXXX+ out in XX/XX/XXXX!!!
How can I dispute my own bank. I will NOT be staying with them if that is their logic! If that were the case any and every payment I ever made to ANYONE, could use my debit info and STEAL whatever they wanted from my bank account!!! This is asinine!
I want the bank to recover my funds ASAP.
I have since called more lenders and all have been amenable to other arrangements that work out for everyone, included a 60 day window, no fees, and weekly payments instead of monthly! When I asked XXXX if they would TAKE unauthorized $ from my bank other than what we agreed on she ( XXXX ) stated that unauthorized payments were illegal and they would not do that and that I should call police and my bank and file charges To me it is stealing! I an trying very hard to do they right thing. Therefore, all other entities should also be required to. Including my own bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX, Tn.
There should be laws preventing this theft of funds by any entity! Just because I approve ONE payment does not mean any payment they feel like taking! If that was the case, XXXX would be dipping into my bank account, and the electric company, and anyone I " do business with ''!

Complaint: I took out a {$1000.00} flex loan with XXXX XXXX in XXXX TN in early XX/XX/2018. I was working a lot of hours and forgot to make the payment on it. I never received any phone calls or letters from the store or company at all after taking out the loan, so I forgot about it completely. That is until a sheriffs deputy showed up at my house to serve me with paperwork for court. I contacted XXXX XXXX in XXXX TN - the firm listed on the paperwork - regarding the paperwork and was informed that it was due to the flex loan with XXXX XXXX. They told me the only way to avoid court - and garnishments and other negative information showing up on my credit report - was to setup payments with them of a minimum of {$200.00} per month. That was more than I could reasonably afford - and there was no debt to income analysis done - but since I wished to avoid all of the negative consequences and I was unaware at the time that I could have possibly obtained better terms if I went to court, I agreed and have been paying them {$200.00} per month by bank draft since then - all without STIILL receiving any paperwork stating how much I owed originally or how much my remaining balance is.
I have been trying for over two weeks at this point to make my next payment and have been unable to reach anyone at XXXX XXXX to take my payment or to get anyone to call me back. I have even reached out to my local XXXX XXXX location for help in reaching them and all they could offer was to keep calling the number - and that the law office was in the same building as the XXXX XXXX corporate office.
I know that I took out the loan, but I feel that XXXX XXXX took unreasonable advantage of this situation by not notifying me of my debts and payments. Furthermore, I have attempted in every way to keep up my agreement, but XXXX XXXX is not making themselves available to keep up their end and accept my payments and causing me undue stress about my situation in the process. And, I still have no idea how much I owe, if my loan has been properly moved to default, if I have any further options, etc. All in all, these two companies manipulated and bullied to take advantage of the situation.

Complaint: XX/XX/2018. I saw that a payment was withdrawn from my bank account for {$140.00} from XXXX XXXX. I am not signed up for auto-pay with them. I called the company and spoke to representative. He said as well that I was not signed up for auto-pay or what they call convenience pay. However, the man said they still had the right to deduct a payment. I informed him that was not legal and they could not take a payment automatically from my account if I was not signed up for that service. He kept arguing with me that they did have the right to take the payment without my permission. After going back and forth, I told him I was contacting my bank and hung up. I am attaching a screenshot showing that I am not signed up for the service.

Complaint: Hi, I have filed a report against this company and filed a report with Visa. They have withdrawn money from my account first my debit card and then processed through my bank account and withdrew money twice. One day was a scheduled payment and the other day was on a day that was not authorized. There was no notification that was sent to me that they were going to withdraw another amount from my account two days after they withdrew money for the loan payment. I filed a dispute with Visa and they filed back and stated they have every right to withdraw when they want. I never signed paperwork stating that they can just withdraw money from my debit card whenever they want. It states clearly in the contract if they cant withdraw from the checking first then they will withdraw from the debit card on the account. Which they already withdrew from my checking and then ran it through my debit card.

Complaint: The interest rate on this line of credit is 360 %. Way higher than the legal interest rate in the state of kansas. It is making it impossible to pay off my loan or keep up with my other Bill 's. After researching interest rates in my state I discovered this interest rate isnt legal. I attempted to contact them and havent gotten anywhere. I have made multiple biweekly payments since XX/XX/XXXX and I have gotten nowhere. I just 2ant to be done with this loan.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I spoke with an XXXX XXXX representative to set a Promise To Pay starting on XX/XX/2018 for the amount of {$50.00}. The agent agreed and stated the the arrangement would extend through XXXX but will go back to the original agreement in XXXX.
On XXXX XXXX I paid the agreed upon {$50.00}. I began receiving harassing collection calls including robo-calls at least 4 times per day. On XX/XX/2018 I called XXXX XXXX and asked that the calls stop. The representative was extremely rude and stated that if I were placed on the " Do not call list '' my bank account would be automatically debited for the outstanding amounts. I stated that I have not authorized XXXX XXXX to automatically retrieve funds either by direct debit or ACH transfer and that I am revoking any access to said bank account. On XX/XX/2018 I paid {$100.00} towards my loan. On XX/XX/2018, XXXX XXXX made an unauthorized debit from my bank account in the amount of {$120.00}.
On XX/XX/2018, I called XXXX XXXX and the representative stated that she can verify that I had an active " Promise to pay '' that had not been broken and that I had asked to be placed on the " Do not call '' list and that I had " Revoked '' any access to my bank account. I was placed on a repeated hold so that she could reach out to the correct agent as she was not in the department that could resolve the issue.
Because she was unable to reach the correct department, she stated that I would receive a call back. I never received a call. On XX/XX/2018. I once again reached out to XXXX XXXX but once again received the run-around and no one will return my calls. On XX/XX/2018, I was notified by my bank that XXXX XXXX made another attempt to debit my account this time in the amount of {$140.00} but was refused due to insufficient funds.

Complaint: I received a loan from XXXX XXXX and then my husband left me and I am financially responsible for XXXX kids under the age of XXXX so I was not able to pay the loan payment when it was due so I revoked my ACH authorization. Also, I did not know the payment would be so high, it is over {$300.00} and this is not apparent when you sign up for a loan. After I revoked my ACH authorization, they debited my account not once but twice. I thought it was straightened out the first time after I complained about the XX/XX/XXXX debit which caused me to have to borrow money for groceries because I was refunded for their mistake until XX/XX/XXXX but it happened again on XX/XX/XXXX and I was not refunded until XX/XX/XXXX after repeated emails and calls that my rent was due and I would have additional fees. So I was charged a {$150.00} late fee and my landlord was going to start the legal process if I didn't pay by the XX/XX/XXXX and the representative XXXX didn't seem to care about my hardship so I reached out to her supervisor XXXX and it took time for us to connect via email. Between now and then I have tried to call him and was not able to reach him. Honestly, there was one appointment that I missed due to my grandma 's passing but we scheduled another appointment today and I called him at 2 numbers and he is not answering. And finally, even though I have been reaching out to him thru email they sent my account to an attorney collection office and I received a letter this week. I can't afford a high monthly payment but do want to come to an arrangement and the company to be fair about the fee I was charged due to their mistake and all the stress they caused me when they mistakenly debited my account TWICE.

I agreed to make payment on XXXX and the acct was okay with that. due to some health issues, I wasn't able to make the XXXX, but I had planned to contact them once I was feeling better, they have done this several times and I asked my bank to restrict this merchant. I believe this company has it in for me and they feel they can charge whatever they without my authorization. they should be a law for companies like this who tend to bullied customers acct without their regard. I am sure nothing good will come out this, they are tough as nails and negotiate is not an option for them

Complaint: I had taken out an installment loan and not a payday loan with a company online called XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2018 I borrowed {$2400.00} to be paid back in instalment payment with interest. Once I received the loan the company never gave me a detailed amount for the 12 month period. So, when I received the installment bill it was more than my mortgage amount. I lived on a fixed income once a month because I am a XXXX and XXXX XXXX veteran. When I made my first payment in XX/XX/2018 I made a {$400.00} payment. In XX/XX/2018 I made {$150.00} payment towards the {$2400.00}. I was in the hospital in the month of XX/XX/XXXX because I had XXXX, therefore, I didn't make a payment in XX/XX/2018. So, I went to make a {$150.00} payment on XX/XX/2018, for another {$150.00} I saw the billing statement and it went from the {$2400.00} to {$4800.00}. If had an idea that the company was charging their clients that type of interest I would have never would have borrowed that money. I am already in chapter XXXX for the next 3 years that I can't afford to pay back what this company is asking of me. and I think the company if ripping me off by not applying any of the money towards what I had borrowed. So, right now I need your help, please!!! By the way, I did tell the company in XX/XX/2018 that I could not pay the amount that the company was asking for each month, however, that I would continue to send in a payment each month until my loan was paid in full. Complaint: The fee structure and daily interest accrual make the loan payments for the XXXX XXXX Flex Loan restrictively high. My loan balance was {$3800.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and required monthly payments totaling {$1000.00} ( 2 x {$520.00} ), and yet the principle balance was expected to reduce by only {$100.00}. I was only able to afford {$75.00} with my most recent payment on XX/XX/XXXX ( first time late ). The new minimum payment is over {$900.00} and the loan payoff has ballooned to {$4800.00} in less than two weeks.
After calling XXXX XXXX to inquire about extended payment plans, lower interest rates, or a lower fee structure, I was informed that none of these options exist. My account would continue to accrue 279 % APR interest calculated ( and accumulated ) daily.

Complaint: I advised XXXX that I wanted to stop any automatic withdrawals from my banking accounts on XX/XX/XXXX. Since this time they have taken out four additional automatic withdrawals on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX totaling more than {$600.00}. One of those was taken out even though I had a payment arrangement with them and two have resulted in insufficient funds fees of XXXX each. I am now sharing an account with a family member and did not want them to know about this loan. When I called them and asked how much my original loan was for, how much Ive paid back and what my balance was, they could not give me this information. I had issues with XXXX before and made a serious error in judgment by going back when I was told that things had changed. These errors are their part have resulted in my family member being aware of my loan and of additional expenses. Everything Im telling you can be verified if their calls are recorded.

Debt was result of identity theft
Complaint: I told XXXX XXXX that my check was stolen and reported to the police.
I was informed that I had to provide all my personal details but they didn't have to give me anything, and I replied that the police had the report. I was told it was my problem and that I had to get them the report to their business. When I said, no, I was in a XXXX and they could get it i was informed that they would call me every day until I did what they wanted and there was nothing I could do about it other then bring them the report and then they would investigate and see if they quit calling.
Requests for things in writing was met with it could only be done by email.
They were informed it was stolen, it was a fraud and that a police report was filed. Because I did not bring them all the paperwork, a hardship on me being in a XXXX, which they were informed about, they have called at least once a day for the last 10 days and tell me every time they call, they will talk to me tomorrow.
This is harassment, and when pointing it out tell me " nope. It's a bill you owe. '' When I argue that they tell me they aren't going to get the report and they doi n't have the time to bother with getting it or investigating it so they're going ot keep calling.
