Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX my son, daughter and I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX. This vehicle was for my wife of 46 years who had been battling XXXX for some 5 years and was having major mobility challenges. The XXXX would be large enough to fit her person mobility scooter in the rear compartment. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX my wife took a turn for the worst and was again admitted to the hospital. She slipped into a XXXX on Wednesday, XXXX XXXX and XXXX on Saturday, XXXX XXXX. We were all devastated. I am still in shock and not able to overcome my grief. In XXXX, XXXX, I struggled to drive the XXXX XXXX over to XXXX XXXX and spoke to the associate with whom we originally obtained the lease. I explained to him the entire story relating to the vehicle and the XXXX of my wife. He spent some time conferring with other staff. Finally, he returned and reported to me that there was nothing that XXXX XXXX could do to help me return the vehicle. I am finding the death of my wife quite difficult and having the XXXX XXXX sitting in my driveway is a pungent stab in my heart each day. I have advertised the vehicle for sale in a variety of settings and on numerous swap lease sites. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find someone to take this vehicle. I finally found someone who said he would take over the lease. However, when I called XXXX XXXX, I was told that KIA did not allow a lease transfer so I lost that opportunity. Recently I decided on another strategy and thought I could just pay off the lease and then hopefully sell the vehicle. After paying for weeks of advertising I finally found someone who agreed to purchase the vehicle. I then called XXXX XXXX and they told me that I had to contact XXXX XXXX. I again contacted XXXX XXXX but the associate with whom we originally worked had left XXXX XXXX. I was transferred to several other people, to each of whom I had to go over the entire story. Finally, I was told that I could not just pay off the lease. There were other fees and charges but when I asked how much these might be I was told an estimated additional {$3000.00} but an exact figure could only be calculated once I began the process of buying out the lease. I was told I would need to drive the vehicle to XXXX XXXX for inspection and odometer verification. I can not do that because the initial 30-day vehicle tag has expired so I have no legal way to drive the vehicle on a public way. The vehicle has only 1,000 miles on it. I have continued to make the lease payments and I also have continued to maintain full insurance on the vehicle at a total combined cost of about {$500.00} per month. Frankly, I am lost. I need to get this vehicle off my driveway. The memories just seeing it there evokes such terrible grief that it is unbearable for me and my family. However, every time I seem to develop a plan, some barrier appears. It has been now months of struggling to relieve us of the pain of having this vehicle as a persistent reminder of the tragic death of my wife.

Complaint: XXXX is not properly investigating a matter with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have a XXXX balance with Kia and Kia is still saying I owe on this account and have a chargeoff which is not true. The account balance saying owed approximately {$17000.00}. XXXX needs to send a representative to manually check the records of Kia so that it can be reflected on my credit report that I have a XXXX balance. Kia is lying about this account so XXXX needs to properly investigate and this account needs be updated to a XXXX balance immediately.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX my son was driving a Hyundai XXXX that was in an accident and totaled. I co-signed the loan on the car. The insurance covered the cost of replacing the car along with GAP insurance that was paid to Hyundai Motor Finances on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. My account with Hyundai is # XXXX. In XXXX, XXXX I happened to check my XXXX Credit Report and noticed that Hyundai was still reporting almost {$20000.00} still being owed on this car that had been paid off by the insurance companies. i contacted both XXXX and Hyundai about this. XXXX issued a dispute to Hyundai and considered the car as having been paid in full. When I finally got through to Hyundai Motor Finance the representatives were very rude and stated that there was a {$350.00} balance left on the car. I questioned them as to what this was for and they could not tell me specifically. I asked, if there was a remaining balance on the car, since GAP paid them in XXXX, why they never contacted me or sent me a bill. They told me they do n't do that and I " would have figured it out eventually ''. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told that one was not available and they had up to 72 hours to return my call. Today is XXXX XXXX and I am still waiting. I sent a certified letter to Hyundai Corp. offices in California on XXXX XXXX telling them about the problem I was having with Hyundai Motor Finances. I received a one sentence letter back stating that the balance was correct. Again there was no explanation of what it was for. A regular car payment is {$380.00} a month so this balance was not even for a monthly payment. On XXXX XXXX I again called Hyundai and spoke to someone named XXXX who told me a bill had been sent on XXXX XXXX. I never received it. I asked her to send me another bill and itemized statement. None has ever been received. Yesterday I received a phone call from a woman at a collection agency telling me the account with Hyundai had been sent to collection. I explained the situation to her and at this point I am absolutely livid. In addition, my credit score has dropped XXXX points this month.

Complaint: We had a lease with Hyundai Motor Finance ( HMF ) for a XXXX XXXX, due to mature on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX we received an e-mail from HMF with an offer to have the last XXXX payments waived if we sign the lease for a new Hyundai. I triple checked the fine print and I saw that we were fully qualified. The program was supposed to end on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. We signed a new lease for a XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. In XXXX XXXX I got a letter from HMF stating that we owe them the 3 payments remaining from the XXXX, for a total of {$910.00}. ( So, even if I leased a new Huyndai, they asked payments for the old one ). Since then I called HMF 6 times. In XXXX, XXXX ( from HMF ) stated that the program ended on XXXX XXXX and that is not their fault that I did n't know and that I still owe them the money. I did n't receive any e-mail with such information, nor the dealers told me anything when I signed the new lease. On the other hand, they told me that everything will be fine. On XXXX I spoke with a person named XXXX from HMF End-lease and she stated that if the dealership will ask them for an exception, then it will be approved and everything will be fine because the whole situation is absurd. It was n't, I do n't know if the dealer called or not, but on XXXX I saw late fees on my account. I called back on XXXX and this time XXXX promised me that she will personally escalate the situation and that she will call me back in 2-3 hours with a resolution. She also stated that there is no record from the dealership about any exception. I am attaching the original e-mail with Pull-ahead program AND the conversation I have with the general manager from the dealership ( it seems that when I signed the lease on XXXX, they were fully aware that the program was modified and that it had an early ending, but they did n't let us know ).

Complaint: I was in the XXXX XXXX and purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. Hyundai financed it at more than {$10000.00} OVER the value of the car. ( All documents attached ). They never should have financed this vehicle. We contacted Hyundai and the dealer within XXXX hrs of purchase, expressing concerns. Hyundai employee stated basically that since I was military I would have to pay the car loan or get in trouble with military. ( see attached notes ) The concern was this loan was WAY MORE than the vehicle and never should have been made. All other banks declined a loan stating we wanted more than value of car and it is not possible. Hyundai approved it immediately. Frustrated I continue to pay the car. I should NOT have signed the finance papers but being young and stupid I did. However, Hyundai should NEVER have agreed to finance this vehicle for so much over. I have been paying on this car for XXXX XXXX years and found out you might be able to help me. I would like to either have Hyundai take the car back and relieve me of this loan ( with no effect on my credit XXXX or clear me of the loan and let me keep the car since I 've been paying it for over XXXX XXXX years.

Complaint: this person work next to the car dealer. he ask me to cosign for a lease i agree to cosign. he bring the contract to my house and i sign as a cosigner. this contract was signed on my house, and wasnt sign in front of a notary public. i agree to be a cosigner. now 2 year later this person have 3 month past due. when i called the financial institution i ask how can i get out of the lease because im just a cosigner. they told me i cant because im the OWER in the account and the other person is the co signer. i sign a paper that say im a cosigner, and they put me in the computer as owner. and also this contract is invalid because it wasnt signed at the dealer, nor infront of the financial manager of the dealer, nor in front of a lawyer or notary public.

Complaint: In XXXX XXXX, I filed for Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy. My bk was XXXX. Upon checking my credit report, I discovered that XXXX is reporting information on my report that is a violation of the FCRA and Bankruptcy Code by listing accounts, on the summary page, that I included in my chapter XXXX bk as " NEGATIVE '' or " LATE PAYMENTS. '' The creditor is supposed to discharge the accounts but they are not supposed to tell the credit bureau that it is a XXXX account. XXXX accounts can NOT be late-ever. Section XXXX of the FCRA requires credit bureaus " to follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. '' It is not reasonable to label an account that has been XXXX in a bankruptcy as " bad debt of late '' if the account was open and not XXXX off prior to consumer filing bankruptcy. Such designation is inaccurate, misleading because it would indicate that the creditor had written off the account at the time of bankruptcy when it had not in fact done so. NEGATIVE REPORTING ON A XXXX DEBT IS A VIOLATION OF THE PERMANENT INJUNCTION OF MY DISCHARGE. They have interfered with me being approved for credit. They have interfered with me being approved for credit. I feel that I am being punished by the credit bureau and creditor for a difficult decision what was unavoidable.

Complaint: My most recent credit report shows that Hyundai Motor Finance ( HMF ) reported me as delinquent on an account that, according to the records I see on HMF 's website, was paid in full on X/XX/17, and is currently owned XXXX balance. I traded in my leased vehicle for a new leased vehicle 1 month before my lease was up. The remainder of my lease payments were rolled into the balance for the new vehicle and the remainder on the old lease was paid on X/XX/17. I have yet to contact HMF regarding this, as it is Saturday, and their customer service line and lease end support lines are closed until Monday. HMF reported my account to the credit bureau with no prior contact to me, written or otherwise, as to the delinquent status of my account.
