Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I leased a car with XXXXXXXX XXXX in XXXX, NY ( 3 year lease ). In the winter of XX/XX/XXXX I started receiving calls from XXXX XXXX offering me the opportunity to turn my lease in early. XXXX XXXX kept on calling me until finally ( in XX/XX/XXXX ) I went in to listen to the offer. Before even attempting to listen to the car salesman, I asked if I would be required to pay any money ( at all ). The man insisted I would not. The car I was turning in was way under the mileage amount and there were no damages to the car ( besides a few stains on the seat which I absolutely would admit to ). When all was said and done, I turned in my lease and exchanged it for a new lease. I decided that I would come back to exchange the cars due to the fact that I needed to clear items out of the trunk. I returned to exchange cars and, again, asked the salesman if everything was set and done. I asked if the car is okay and all set, and the man insisted " yes yes everything is taken care of. '' Like I should have imagined, it was n't. In the summer of XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX requesting a rundown of this bill. The man on the phone could not tell me what I was being charged for and someone said that they would call me back. No one ever called me back. In Fall of XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill from a credit reporting agency. Hyundai had sent the bill to a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I went into Hyundai demanding to know why I owed the money. The manager of XXXX XXXX claimed upon inspection the car had damages totaling to such a large amount. They also mentioned some kind of fee in which I am required to pay because they did not get the amount of money that they wanted at auction. I told them that I am not paying this bill due to the fact that this inspection was done with none of my input and out of my sight. As well, I was not informed of other fees even though I consistently asked if there would be other fees. Furthermore, even though XXXX XXXX XXXX sent this bill to collections, they are still reporting it as late EVERY MONTH on my credit report. I am taking them to small claims court but I also need something to be done about the reporting that they are doing. It is not right and they participate in predatory practices and underhanded transactions. They preyed upon individuals and when all is said and done they do n't do anything to assist you.

Complaint: Due to XXXX in my immediate family and my own illness I fell behind in my payments. I am working as hard as I can to catch up but the collection calls are relentless they start at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and do n't stop until XXXX XXXX seven days a week, The callers make threats to come and get the car and when I advised them to do so they refuse to come and get the vehicle. I have asked for the paperwork to be sent to relinquish the vehicle back to the lender and they refuse to send it. I have repeatedly asked not to be contacted while I am at work during the hours of XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX yet the continue to call. If I l do not answer the phone they hang up and call right back. Because they will not respect my request not to call during my working hours or not to call my place of employment my employment may be in jeopardy, On Sunday XXXX XXXX, 2018 I received twenty calls from the lender in a single day.

Complaint: I do not deny that I am usually late on my car payment however, I get phone calls on a daily basis starting the very first day the payment is due and it is n't just one call it is several calls per day and the the Finance company does n't leave a message. I have XXXX phone service and every call coming in or out is logged. My house phone also logged the call and is an answering machine. I have told the XXXX XXXX XXXX customer service people several times that this is a violation but their response was they are going by their company policy. I do n't think they care about consumer protection laws. This has been going on since I purchased the vehicle almost 4 years ago. I get behind but I always catch up and for the most part I am usually only a week to 10 days late and I pay the late fee. I think 1 call with a message would be sufficient but they see fit to continually harass me.

Complaint: I called XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I was informed that I still owe XXXX after my payment of XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. During XXXX I experienced some financial problems and XXXX XXXX XXXX allowed me to differ 4 monthly payments and stated that those 4 payments would be added on to the end of the term. However, through my conversation with two different supervisors, I was told that there are additional charges even after I have paid the 72 month term. My first monthly bill was on XXXX XXXX and should have ended on XXXX XXXX. Considering my 4 differed payments, my last payment should be XXXX XXXX. The supervisors stated the additional fee's are principal of XXXX. During my conversations with the associates that allowed me to differ the payments, the additional fee's and charges was never mentioned, other than the payments being added to the end of the term. I spoke to XXXX employee #XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I asked for her manager, she stated one would call within 24-48 hours and I have not received a call. I faxed a complaint letter to Customer care on XX/XX/XXXX. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX after receiving a past due text to my cell phone. I should not be liable for charges I was not made aware of.

Complaint: My car was repossessed on XX/XX/XXXX. I had been trying have the payments lowered but would always say you cant. Hyundai Motor Finance has not worked with me. At one point they lowered it by {$15.00}. Hyundai has called my father at work without permission, my fianc at work without permission, my father in law without permission, and my mother. Hyundai put my father 's job and fianc 's job in jeopardy. I have called and explained I had not been working and my parents are on social security and have been trying to help me as much as possible. I am currently working now and would like to figure out what can ve done to get my car back. I need it to get to work and my daughter 's carseat and stroller are in the car. Hyundai stated that {$3900.00} is due to get it back. I only owe {$4300.00}. Hyundai will call 15 times a day using 5 different numbers. Even after payments are made the calls continue, and when I call they say you need to go online and we cant stop the calls.

Complaint: As of XX/XX/XXXX I have paid off my vehicle loan to XXXX XXXX XXXX and they have acknowledged this is writing. However XXXX XXXX will not release an electronic hold on the title which they have in their system so that the Florida DMV can print out my car title for me. I have phoned them multiple times about this. On XX/XX/XXXX when I was at the XXXX, FL DMV I had a DMV employee to phone XXXX XXXX and the employee and I both requested that XXXX XXXX release the electronic hold so that my title can be printed out but XXXX XXXX would n't do it. A FL DMV employee told me that the DMV prints out XXXX car titles for owners everyday after XXXX XXXX releases the electronic hold on the title. XXXX XXXX knows exactly what to do to finish their job to allow the FL DMV to print out my title but they refuse to do it and only give excuses or delays. Also on XX/XX/XXXX I phoned XXXX customer service and talked with XXXX XXXX and stated the problem. She said that she would email someone and tell them to release the loan but the DMV employee and I had already tried to get that done to no avail. So this phone call to customer service was not helpful.

Complaint: This issue has to do with the excise tax on the loan. There was a balance of {$35.00} for the excise tax which I was unaware of for several months. XXXX has informed me not to pay the excise tax bill until the abatement went through. The balance of the abatement and excise tax bill was {$35.00} and I never received a new bill informing that this {$35.00} balance was due. Instead of calling me or informing me of this balance XXXX quietly reported me delinquent for a {$35.00} dollar balance on the entire lease amount for the loan which caused my credit score to drop. These delinquent payments should be removed from my account.

Complaint: When looking for financing to buyout my vehicle at the end of the lease, I relied on the buyout quote from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX website that said that the buyout amount quoted " includes any sales tax ( if applicable ). '' I understood that to mean that any sales tax would be included in the buyout amount. In talking with the dealership from whom I purchased the vehicle, they confirmed my understanding In finalizing my financing, however, I learned that what was stated on the buyout quote is wrong, and that I would need to contact the XXXX XXXX. When I called a manager at XXXX XXXX XXXX to discuss the problem and how as a consumer, the language was not clear, I was told " too bad... we do n't want your advice ''. Now, with less than two weeks left, I have to redo all of my financing because I had not anticipated any sales tax in my budgeting.

Complaint: I returned a XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. The lease was not up until XX/XX/XXXX ; however, I returned it early in connection with leasing a new vehicle. The new vehicle is a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Both leases were through XXXX XXXX XXXX. The dealership promised to pay all remaining amounts due on the lease ( excluding excess wear and tear ). I received confirmation several weeks later from XXXX XXXX XXXX that no further amounts were due on my XXXX XXXX when I received the next statement that showed a XXXX balance. In XX/XX/XXXX ( 5 months after returning the vehicle ), I received a bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$310.00}. There was no documentation explaining why I owed this amount. I tried calling XXXX XXXX XXXX but could not get through. I left a message but no one ever returned my call. This was the first I ever heard that any amount was owed on my XXXX XXXX. Approximately, 3 weeks later, I received a call from a debt collection agency ( XXXX XXXX ). I explained the situation and told them that I was contesting the bill. They said they would put it in for challenge. I did not hear from any one again until XX/XX/XXXX when XXXX XXXX called me again. I once again told them that this was to be challenged and they told me they would come back to me. I finally received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX. It included a description of amounts charged by XXXX XXXX XXXX and amounts paid. It ends with a balance of {$310.00} ; however, it never explains why these amounts are owed ( e.g. missed lease payment, fees, damage to vehicle ). It also claims this letter was sent to me on XX/XX/XXXX ( 4 months after lease termination ) ; however, I never received it. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was finally able to reach someone at XXXX XXXX XXXX. They told me the amounts owed are for a missed lease payment. I explained to them that the dealership had agreed to pay all go forward lease payments. They told me " that was my problem '' and tried to connect me ( again ) to XXXX XXXX. I called the dealership and they told me that all lease payments were made. XXXX XXXX XXXX has submitted this issue to credit agencies and damaged my credit score. They have also told me I owe money on a lease ( 5 months after lease termination ) but never provided me with any disclosure as to why I owe this money. They also will not even discuss this issue on the phone with me. I would like to know whether this is truly my obligation to pay and would like my credit score repaired. I would also like to make sure that XXXX XXXX XXXX provides full, adequate and timely disclosure of amounts due by their customers.

Complaint: I leased a Hyundai in XXXX and made every payment on time. I leased another Hyundai, in the summer of XXXX and turned in the XXXX car. As part of the deal, my last few payments on the XXXX vehicle were to be paid by the Hyundai dealer. Apparently, the payoff funds were applied to the new vehicle, instead of the old vehicle. I have no idea if the Hyundai dealer or the XXXX XXXX XXXX made the error. I began making payments on the new car and, still today, make my monthly payment on time. My credit score took a major hit as 3 payments on the old car erroneously appeared as past due. After much legwork, that I was required to do between the dealer and the finance company ( they would n't do any research, saying it was my problem to resolve ) the finance company agreed that the payoff funds had been received when due and they agreed to remove the late payments from my account. Several weeks later, my score returned to normal. Later in XXXX, one of the late payments appeared again ( on the old account ) and I filed a dispute with XXXX. A few weeks later I received a notice stating that the information was correct ... .and I then noticed that all 3 late payments were on the XXXX report. After many phone calls, I was finality able to convince XXXX XXXX that the late payments should be removed again, and I assumed this finally solved the problem. In the spring of XXXX, I received another notice ( from XXXX XXXX ) that my score had dropped. All 3 late payments were again on my report. Removing the errors took even more phone calls, as I was repeatedly told the data was correct and that XXXX was to blame. I finally reached a reasonable person at XXXX XXXX who saw the full history and actually apologized. I appreciated her help, but stated that I was very concerned with the apparent lack of controls that would prevent this problem from happening again. Knowing that if they did n't correct the source data in their system ( s ), a repeat posting of this data was certainly possible. Unfortunately all this lady could do was correct the data already sent to XXXX. Today,XX/XX/XXXX I received yet another notice that three XXXX payments were now showing as late ... ... ... XXXX XXXX is n't open in the evening ... but I will call them again in the morning.

Complaint: I have been for weeks asking assistance due to the hurricane Irma so that one of my payments can be placed at the end of the lease and after having multiple conversations with several representatives of XXXX XXXX, I have arrived to the conclusion that they have made fun of me. They told me that they had already submitted the request for the approval of such assistance, days later on some other conversations I was told that the assistance had already been approved and that there was nothing to be worried about because all was current and in order with the account. Yesterday, I got a letter from XXXX XXXX reflecting still a due amount not corresponding to the supposedly new approved schedule of payments and today I called them out and was told that the request for assistance with one payment at the end of the lease due to special circumstances of hurricane Irma had never been created nor submitted. This is a total lack of respect to consumers which is by the way a pattern with XXXX XXXX due to the their abusive and predatory practices on a regular basis plus the excessive charges and fees that they charge to their costumers constantly.
