Today XXXX/XXXX/XXXX was suppose to be the day when the bureaus was suppose to be updated on my balance on my account gap insurance, primary insurance an warranty company have all paid amounts on vehicle. The XXXX insurance company paid XXXX issued XXXX/XXXX/XXXX payment was processed by XXXX. Gap insurance paid XXXX processed on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. XXXX made a payment received by XXXX in the amount of XXXX an XXXX XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Still have yet to see balance updates. Two of the payments I never received a email had to call in and make sure they had them and they did but I keep being told 5-7 business days to update to my account which has not been updated since XXXX XXXX. This is hindering me from getting another vehicle. The balance on the account is still showing XXXX which is incorrect.

Complaint: Hello, in XX/XX/XXXX, my XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX financed by XXXX XXXX XXXX was repossessed without earning or prior notice to tell me I had outstanding fees. I paid to have the loan reinstated which I was told included repo fees as well as paid the repo lot for my car. XXXX XXXX XXXX knew I was currently refinancing my car with another company. In XX/XX/XXXX, my refinance company got a hold of them and got the full amount owed and sent a check. XXXX lost this check for 2 weeks while I called incessantly with the tracking number and being told they didnt recieve it. Finally they found it and it was applied to my account. When it was applied, I recieved a paid in full notice. I called twice to make sure i would owe nothing else and was told nothing was owed and i was free from XXXX. This month, XX/XX/XXXX and 9 months after refinancing, XXXX is sending me a bill for XXXX claiming they sent many letters and threatening to come after payment any way possible. This is NOT a tax bill and i was told I paid all fees due after asking MANY times. I called and they insist i pay them and say they didnt see i owed it til XX/XX/XXXX. Yet in XX/XX/XXXX ( 2 months later ) they reported my account as closed to the creditors. Please see attachments. This amount was paid in full and after all these people put me through i refuse to pay or take thier threats.

They say it was in the lease but i would not have bought it if I knew. They say if I lease of buy another car from them it will be waived, I am now XXXX and can not buy another car. Plus m6 car was XXXX miles under the lease agreement but they wont give me anyth8ng for that. Not fair. I can not afford to pay this. I spoke with the finance end of it and they said n9 way 8 have to pay.

I paid on my loan, and after almost one year, Kia Motors finance contacted me and told me they were going to repossess my car for not paying on the lease for 357 days. They never ended my lease, even though I had a loan through XXXX XXXX. As a result, my and my wife 's credit was adversely compromised. Also, in 357 days, I never received a letter, email or phone call regarding a late payment, or I would have addressed the issue immediately.

It clearly lists my XXXX account, which is correct account that I used for the past 3 years. The Bank asks XXXX to remove negative credit entries as the customer entered correct amount and account numbers. The payment rejection and any subsequent delays are not customer 's fault. This is either the Bank or XXXX. You may contact XXXX XXXX XXXX to verify. Since, I have no proof of mailing my initial payment attempt ( USPS in XX/XX/XXXX ), you may leave XX/XX/XXXX ( 30 ) entry on my credit report. However, please do act in accordance with the letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX, and remove both XX/XX/XXXX ( 60 ) and XX/XX/XXXX ( 90 ) negative credit entries from all credit bureaus. Complaint: I leased a vehicle from Kia Motors and shortly after that I got married and changed my name. I 've attempted to update my name with Kia Motors since XX/XX/XXXX and have not had any success. As of XX/XX/XXXXI moved from XXXX ( where I originally signed the lease ) to XXXX. The XXXX DOT requires that I register my leased vehicle within 90 days of moving. At the XXXX DMV they are requesting formal communication from Kia Motors about my name change and also about sales taxes that were paid in XXXX. Because Kia Motors is not responding to my request for a name change and has not submitted the proof of tax payment from my lease, I am unable to register my vehicle. At the end of XX/XX/XXXX my vehicle registration from XXXX will expire and I will be unable to drive my vehicle legally since the XXXX DOT does not want to use my marriage license as proof of name change. I 've attempted to contact Kia Motors about my name change multiple times, and have reached multiple different consumer affair specialists in the last few days. They have yet to process my request of name change and to submit the information to XXXX DOT.

Complaint: I leased a vehicle with Hyundai Motor Finance in XXXX XXXX for three years. In XXXX XXXX I had paid in full and never had a missed payment however, upon calling one day I talked to someone who was very unhelpful and rude at XXXX. One week later 8 missed payments showed up on my XXXX ( only ) credit report from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX ( XXXX ) dropping my score 82 points. I called Hyundai who told me I had always prepaid and never had any missed payments, so I filed a dispute with XXXX on XXXX XXXX. By XXXX XXXX I received a letter from XXXX that Hyundai provided them all documentation and Hyundai removed the erroneous information. I never received an explanation of how someone goes backwards XXXX XXXX years and adds inaccurate information though I do believe it was the gentlemen I upset at Hyundai who did it. My credit score went back up over an XXXX and the account was closed in perfect standing and all my checkboxes were green with no missed payments. Today I check my credit score and once again Hyundai reported all the same erroneous information that was just resolved. I contacted XXXX and they verified that Hyundai once again did the same thing on a closed account that Hyundai just removed from the account. The XXXX women told me I should contact you because she too thinks this is very shady and that she has never seen anything like this. To the point she was going to call Hyundai on my behalf. I truly believe Hyundai has a gentlemen on their payroll who is purposely and maliciously opening my closed account and re-reporting information that they just removed. When I called Hyundai, they will not let me speak to the department who reports it, informed me I once again had to wait 30-60 days for them to research it and that they could not tell me why this is repeating itself. As a matter of fact, they are completely not willing to provide me with any answers. I asked them to reopen my old dispute, they said they ca n't. Long story is I can not speak with anyone who can help me in a timely manner, they once again dropped my credit score 77 points and I feel this is going to continue happening over and over again. Please help me.

Complaint: I purchased a new car from XXXX XXXX in XXXX Kansas this past XXXX, XXXX. Before going to the dealership, I submitted my information online to be pre-qualified for financing. Once getting to the dealership, they checked my credit again without looking to see that it had already been done. They worked hard to get me financed and were finally successful. By the end of the week I saw the two XXXX XXXX hard inquiries on my credit report. In addition to that, XXXX XXXX checked my credit a third time without my knowing. And they also submitted my information to 11 other finance companies and authorized them to pull my credit individually WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. This whole process created a total of 14 hard inquiries on my credit reports ( XXXX showed all of them ) and brought my score and borrowing power down for the next 2 years. The first time I bought from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX they shopped me around for financing WITHOUT authorizing other companies to check my credit independently. I NEVER would have agreed to 14 credit checks. I would appreciate it if these were removed. I have tried to contact XXXX XXXX and a few of the other companies but I never am able to talk to anyone who has the power to remove these inquiries. So I am stuck with no reprieve or apology.

Complaint: On XXXX of XXXX, my Hyundai XXXX was deemed totaled by XXXX. I immediately connected with the deal, XXXX for the Gap insurance information because I was informed by XXXX that their value would not cover the full balance. Upon receiving the Gap information, I called the XXXX for instructions. I immediately contacted Hyundai Motor Finance to inform them of my misfortune. I gave them XXXX 's information and the information for the Gap company, XXXX. I was told by the representative the claim was still new and they had to wait to see what XXXX would pay before they would file a claim with XXXX. I was reassured they would handle it from that point. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received a demand letter requesting I pay the difference that was not paid by XXXX. I immediately called Hyundai to inquire as to what happened the gap claim. I spoke with XXXX who informed me that was not their job. May add that was not what was told last year. She was curt and brazen in her tone and refused to provide any assistance. I called the XXXX to find out what I needed to do. The first represented was n't very helpful and I demanded to speak with a supervisor who informed me if Hyundai can prove that they did try to reach out to them then they might be able to help. It appears that if they are not informed after the insurance company pays. the consumer forfeits their claim. I find that ridiculous. The supervisor stated that they should have emailed me a list of items needed to satisfy the claim. I told her I never received the email and she informed me it may have gone to spam. As a result, she sent the information again to help me get started. After getting off the phone with XXXX, I immediately called back Hyundai for more information. I waited on the phone for twenty-five minutes only get XXXX who stated she could n't hear me and I needed to call back. She proceeded to disconnect the call. At which point, I decided it would be best get you involved. When your finance company drops the ball and demand payment, ( after they reassured me, they would handle the matter ) I need a power greater than myself to get answers.

Complaint: ( Upon communicating with CFPB over the phone regarding initial claim # XXXX, was advised to open the new one due to dishonest and misleading response of Hyundai Motor Finance ). 1. Company states the vehicle was retuned late on XX/XX/XXXX. This is a lie - it was returned early prior to the maturity date. Returned promptly on XX/XX/XXXX. The proof is attached ( receipt by the official dealer as well as date/time stamped photos in the lot ). 2. Company states that it sent multiple letters due to vehicle not being returned. Two lies! First, returned early. Second, none of the letters were received. 3. Company states that it made attempts to notify me of {$420.00} balance due during XXXX. This is actually true. HOWEVER, my first letter with {$420.00} payment was mailed on end of XXXX. It, for some unknown reason, did not make it to Hyundai and was never posted. I was then out of country due to family emergency and did not receive XXXX mail. Upon return on XXXX, attempted to send {$420.00} electronically. Hyundai rejected the payment ( see attached ). Finally, made payment on XX/XX/XXXX. Numerous payment attempts!! 4. Company states that I made 7 complaints to various agencies. Lie! I made 2 so far ( BBB and CFPB ). Prior to that I attempted to resolve with the company directly on countless occasions. I was not treated with respect. No respect and courtesy were given to 7 years loyal client with outstanding payment history. 5. If company denies again, complaints will be filed with FTC, Attorney General, etc. Additionally, numerous complains will be posted around the World Wide Web.

Complaint: Kia Motor Finance took two payments this month from my bank account. I called customer service because of the error by Kia. At first they were fine in reversing the payment ; however they said they would mail me a check in 10 days. I asked if their was some way to expedite it and if they could include the cost for the NSF fee my bank may charge. The initial person basically ignored my request and just restated i would get a check in 10 days. So i asked to speak to a supervisor. This is where the problem began. The supervisor. I believe her name was XXXX said she would not do anything because they were not responsible for bank fees and seemed to insinuate she would not refund the payment to me. She then tried to blame me saying the reason it came out twice was because I made a payment then set up auto pay which came out on the XXXX. However their own website said my auto pay was set to begin on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. When I asked her why she just continued to blame me. Not only do I know I did not set up auto pay to start on XXXX Kia Fiances own website confirmed it was not set up that way. Not only did she threaten to not refund the payment but when I asked her for her full name she refused. I asked for the name of the previous person and her answer was imply " no '', and when I asked to speak to her supervisor her answer was again " no ''. Then I asked to be transferred to the complaint department and she transferred me to a totally unrelated department that when they answered told me they were the wrong department. This is a major Reg E violation. Not only did they not help but the manipulated the facts to shift responsibility the customer service supervisor should be reprimanded.

Complaint: Debt was paid in full XX/XX/XXXX and car was PAID OFF, yet Hyundai Motor Finance is still holding the title to the vehicle. I have contacted them MULTIPLE times about having the title released and as of today XX/XX/XXXX, the title STILL has not been released after multiple phone calls and assurances that they were releasing and mailing me the title. Every time I call they have some new form I need to submit which was not spoken of the numerous other times I 've called. I 've complied with their requests every time. The last time I called was XX/XX/XXXX and I was assured then that title was being mailed out after I sent them the odometer reading which was sent. Today when I called they told me I now need to send them a " Bill of Sale '' which I do n't have and had never heard I needed before today. I am trying to sell the vehicle and can not do so until I have the clear title. In addition to this issue, every time I call I have to go through customer service and sit on hold for over a half an hour before I get to speak to someone. Then once I get to a representative, I am put on hold multiple times while they " research '' the account. Each call usually takes an hour or more. I need a direct point of contact. I have asked to speak with the title department directly but " they do n't receive calls from consumers. ''
