Complaint: I called and requested a payment extension on both of my loans with XXXX. The first one on my primary vehicle was processed no problem. I was even able to sign the payment extension through a secure website and within 2 minutes. The next vehicle not so easy - I was told that since I went through a contact center in XXXX, TX that they did not have the capabilities of doing e-sign. I requested that option because of the ease of use and that my situation was quickly resolved in that manner. I then was told that they could fax the document to me ( which I dont have a fax ) or that they can mail it to me. I chose the option for them to send it to me via US Mail. Upon my receipt of the document ( mind you the same one that they could not email me ) I signed it and followed the instructions at the bottom of the agreement to fax or mail ( which I mailed ) a copy to them and to keep a copy for my records ( which I have a copy of the document ) the document that I signed and returned via US Mail. Come to find out my account is now almost 60 days behind because they stated that they never received the document at the address in which they provided as a good contact address for this transaction. I called and spoke to a XXXX who said that I should have called to confirm that the document was received. The document does not state anywhere on it that I should follow up to make sure it was received as that was not a condition that was stated in writing that I should follow to make sure that it was received. The representative then transferred me over to a supervisor who stated pretty much the same thing and seemed to insult my intelligence all in the same interaction. I think that if mailing was an option that was stated as a viable option to assist in this matter and I did everything that was requested of me to sign, return and keep a copy that my original agreement should be honored and that I as the customer should not be penalized for a lack of receipt on their end -especially when e-sign was offered before.

Complaint: On XXXX / XXXX / 2017 I paid Hyundai Motor Finance my monthly lease bill of {$380.00} for my Hyundai XXXX . I had an error on my internet cause the browser to refresh. The payment had came out XXXX times causing my checking account to overdraft into - {$900.00} including penalties and fees. I had contacted Hyundai Motor Finance shortly after the discovery of the overdraft. They promised me a refund when I spoke with a representative. I contacted them again a couple days later and I spoke with a representative to find out when the refund will be, because myself and my family are hurting so bad financial. The representative said they wont refund me the full amount which is {$760.00} they will only give me {$380.00} and the extra payment can go towards this or next months bill. They also stated it takes 20 days for a refund. I immediately contacted my bank to dispute the charges. It is apparent that Hyundai Motor Finance does NOT fulfill their financial obligations of a refund and this is considered a crime of theft.

I have not received any billing in the U.S. Mail or Email for the pass due amount and not a response to my last submission referring to the Hyundai Car Registration Payment and the Early Termination Fee ; which was not a bill. Hyundai Finance first stated that payment was made in full, no payment was due, not even the early termination fee. [ Case number : XXXX ] reference that XXXX XXXX XXXX did not make the full payment as first reported and now request that I make the payment as disputed, which was confirmed again the payment was made in full. I noted that there was a disputed within the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding the Trade-in which I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX asking that I return XXXX XXXX because finance was not approved as of XXXX XXXX, 2017. I received the certified return receipt notice dated XXXX XXXX, 2017 in my mail box 15 days after the date of the letter along with several Letters regarding denied finance for the XXXX XXXX. When I did bring the XXXX XXXX to turn it in, XXXX had agreed to Finance the Auto.

Complaint: I was in a car accident which resulted in total loss of the vehicle, my primary insurance paid their portion to Kia Financial which left a balance remaining balance for my gap to cover. The gap insurance is requiring certain documents from kia financial, I have tried multiple times to obtain these documents from kia financial with no luck. Kia continues to send me partial documents and each time I call its a 2-3 da y turn around. I was previously instructed by kia to not make my payment which would result in no late fees or interest and adverse credit reporting. My payment functionality was removed from the website and based off my result today my account has been referred to recovery. Again I called today and I was assured that I would not accrue late fees or or interest and no credit reporting.

Complaint: I have filed a dispute with the Cfpb in regards to Kia motors falsely reporting lates on my credit report and then they remove it after reviewing my payments and then they report other payments late this is an ongoing cycle with them. this is the 3rd time this has happened and when I called Kia motors this time they say that they have gotten new payment system but I am still having the same issue. I reviewed my account history and they agree that no payments were made late but yet they just reported 3 payments as late that had been reported as current. This is becoming quite ridiculous and something needs to be done if they ca n't report accurate information. XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX are now reporting late but were previously reported as on time. I have not made the payments late.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, my husband and I went to XXXX XXXX in XXXX VA to do a trading of a XXXX Elantra that he bought in XXXX XXXX. My husband previously spoke on the phone with the same seller who sold him the Elantra and made him clear That he wanted to have a payment that was not higher than the one he was already doing. My husband decided for a Santa Fe XXXX and when starting with the transaction, the seller told my husband that as his credit score was very low, he did not qualify for financing and I was not working ; Nor could it be done in my name. Then it was decided to make a lease and they asked me to serve as co-signer and they asked me to fill out a sheet to verify my credit. I signed the document although I did not understand much English ( I speak Spanish because I am from PR ) and the transaction was approved. We signed the contract with XXXX XXXX XXXX and signed the documents as Co-signer and left the dealer with the car. After several days, we received a call from XXXX XXXX again to tell us that the contract had gone astray and that we needed to go through the dealer again to sign. When we went, XXXX XXXX told us that there were no changes, that was just signing the same and then I came back to say as Co-signer. To my surprise, a few days later two transactions appeared in my credit history that I had started a purchase of a car in my name. I checked with the dealer and they said no, that only one transaction had been made. Now I have just received a report that the day after the purchase, a credit application was made again at my name for the same vehicle. I started to investigate with Hyundai Finance and it turns out that the dealer put me as the person who was buying a car, and now I appear as de Primary- signer. I will like you to investigate this as a fraud because two weeks later my husband told me he wanted a divorce.

Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX of XXXX , NJ. I purchased a XXXX Hyundai Sonata fr om XXXX XXXX Hyundai DBA XXXX Hyundai @ XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , NY XXXX . The car 's list price was {$29000.00} and a Service Agreement of {$3400.00}. I ended up financing {$35000.00}, with a finance charge of {$24000.00} ( 18.99 % APR for 72 Months ). My monthly payment was {$830.00}. The total sale price was {$65000.00}. I gave the dealer a {$5000.00} downpayment, part of which he told me would be applied to my first monthly payment, and the rest would be applied to the downpayment of the car including Motor Vehicle Fees and taxes. My complaint is that on XX/XX/XXXX the car dealer advised me to sign the blank contract as I had my child, was in a rush for work, and he would fill in the details based on our verbal agreement. To my dismay, upon receiving a XX/XX/XXXX letter from Hyundai Motor Finance I had a contractual agreement to pay twice the amount of the value of the car. This is in stark contrast to the dealer 's prior verbal assurance that my car payments would be no more than {$320.00} per month.The dealer pacified my complaint by telling me that he would rectify the matter with a new contract, but I should make payments as to not run in default on the contract. Coincidently, a majority of my payments are applied to the interest and not the principal. Eventually, I could not keep up with the payments, after losing my job. After the last partial car payment on XX/XX/XXXX , and a verbal agreement with the finance company to pay the balance the following morning, my car was repossessed the following day. Subsequently, the repossessor sold my car for {$9000.00} at an auction and is now harassing me for {$23000.00} to be collected by XXXX XXXX , XXXX ( Collection Agency ). Please help as this is ruining my credit, placing me under XXXX . I am a single mother o f a XXXX -year-old chil d who was born with XXXX and has had XXXX XXXX , which is causing financial and XXXX hardships. First they said they sent the title on XXXX XXXX , then the XXXX on the next call. Then they said they had sent us a title release letter on XXXX XXXX we finally did get one dated XXXX XXXX and it 's absolutely worthless it has to be electronically transmitted to the XXXX . The last call a couple of days ago they claimed they sent it electronically to the XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX we live in Nebraska and have done for 25 years. We have repeatedly asked for call backs from managers and they tell us they do n't do call backs. These people are incompetent!
