Complaint: I had a savings and checking account with Huntington Bank for the last 6 years. I was victimized by a scam artistic who got my email address from previous professional shops I had completed. Nevertheless, they wrote me a fraudulent check which I had no idea it was a bad check. I immediately contacted my local authorities since my checking account had been compromised. Huntington closed my account after the fraudulent check was deposited. I am the one who had been victimized. I was informed that I could no longer have an account with Huntington after I am the one who reported the bad check. Thus reporting the scam artistic to the authorities showing the various emails to my local police. The police file number is XXXX. I am requesting that a new checking account be able to be opened. Since I still have a savings account with Huntington.
Thank you for reviewing this complaint.

Complaint: I got a car loan with Huntington Bank with payments starting XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX payments. I paid off my car in XX/XX/XXXX and was charged a XXXX early payoff fee. I got a letter stating they electronically filed my title and I have to go to the title bureau and pay for a paper title. I got a copy of my loan agreement and it states on line ( XXXX ) License, title AND registration fees {$20.00}. Bank reps state that I did not pay for my title just the registration fees. I stated that is not what I signed and that is not what the line states it stated AND not OR. I originally called on XXXX XXXX and someone was suppose to call me back by that Friday XXXX XXXX. No call and I called back today XXXX XXXX and the Supervisor I talked to on XXXX XXXX failed to notate my account at all. The Supervisor I talked to today stated the above so I filed a complaint with Huntington case # # XXXX and they stated I might get a letter with the resolution? Which would be nothing because I did not pay for a title and that line means any of the fees. I stated again then it should state OR not AND. I believe I should get a paper copy of my title since I paid for my car in full or I should get remimbursed for the fee I paid plus interest that I paid for all of the years.

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/15 I called Huntington Bank to get a payoff for a car loan. The information I seen showed a balance of {$3600.00}. I was told that there would be a early payoff fee of {$120.00} added along with two days of interest and insurance for the time it would take for the money to reach the bank. The Payoff was made on XXXX/XXXX/2015 a day earlier than they had predicted. I called the bank the following day and asked how they would send the money for the one day of interest and insurance that was paid? I was told that I would get a check along with the title to the car. Title was received on XXXX XXXX, 2015 but no check was with it. I called Huntington XXXX XXXX, 2015 and was told by XXXX that a check and a letter with the breakdown of the charges would be mailed out. XXXX XXXX, 2015 I called Huntington and spoke with XXXX the supervisor that told me that he would email me the breakdown and that he would have XXXX call me on Monday XXXX XXXX, 2015 about the refund. Never received the call from XXXX to this day XXXX XXXX, 2015. The breakdown of the charges that XXXX emailed ( see attached ) was not what I asked for. The amount I was charged on XXXX XXXX, 2015 was {$3700.00}. If you add the {$120.00} early payoff fee the balance would be {$3700.00}. Add {$3.00} for two days of insurance and interest would leave an over payment of {$1.00} owed me.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX we instituted the process to get a re-fi on our mortgage which was to occur on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX at my husband 's office. On XXXX XXXX at XXXX we received a call from an unknown person who said all the terms of the re-fi had changed. We called our rep who stated that it did not matter that the numbers were wrong, she even said they might be wrong in our favor so we should sign the re-fi papers. She said several times, just sign the papers. When we said we could not possibly sign under those circumstances, she said just go to the closing and the man with the papers would answer all of our questions. We went to the closing, the man stated that as he was just a notary, he could not answer our questions. We, of course, did not sign, and apologized to the man for his time and went home. We thought as our rep was not at work that day, we would wait until Mon. to figure out why she had completely changed the deal and never given us any papers to actually look at ( when pressed on Fri. XXXX XXXX as to why she had not sent us the papers to review before the closing, she said she was too busy ). The new terms, we later found out, involved the closing costs more than tripling and our pay off of savings not occurring for 6 years. As we want to sell our house, a fact which the bank was quite aware of, these terms were not in the least favorable to us.Even with the original re-fi, we still never got a definitive number on what our monthly payment would be -- the numbers kept changing with a difference in our savings swinging from {$1100.00} to {$500.00}.
Then on Sat., XXXX XXXX while paying bills online, my husband noticed that the mortgage no longer appeared on our account. He immediately called Huntington but got the runaround until the bank closed. Early Mon., we called again. A woman in mortgage customer service told us in a cheery voice, that our mortgage was paid in full. With that news ringing in our ears, we asked to talk to a manager. We were given a name, we called, his voicemail intoned he would be out of the office for two weeks and to call his assistant which we did and left a message. We next went to our local branch and talked to the manager explaining all. He verified that the mortgage was paid off and that our escrow account which was set up to pay for insurance and taxes was also gone.Without our authorization and completely against our knowledge and wishes, the bank had acted as if we had accepted their new re-fi plan which called for them to take our escrow money for taxes to pay down the mortgage and to pay off the mortgage costing us more money for the process. He seemed appalled and flummoxed about what to do. We immediately called our insurance man and found we were paid up until XX/XX/XXXX. The escrow account had only our tax money which were due to be paid on XXXX XXXX.
We finally talked to XXXX people from Huntington in XXXX -- XXXX said of course they would reinstate the mortgage, another said no they could not reinstate it. We went back and forth with them for a week. They told us that with each day we do not accept a re-fi we owed them more money.
Our email of XXXX demanded that they put back the current mortgage and escrow account. After no response, my husband called a VP getting his voicemail. Another rep finally called back saying we should be grateful that the VP did not answer our call because the VP would not be as nice to us as he was being and that VP would not give us such a good deal. Deal on what, righting their error?
Our mortgage and escrow did not appear in our account until the middle of XXXX. By then we had created an account at another bank to put our mortgage payment in.
The runaround and pressure from the bank continued until XXXX XXXX when we told the bank we would not under any circumstances re-fi with them due to lack of trust.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a XX/XX/XXXX XXXX from XXXX County XXXX XXXX Kentucky. I originally was told by XXXX XXXX XXXX Owner and General Manager that I was buying the vehicle for {$10000.00} and financing with Huntington Bank a small loan of {$1000.00} after putting down {$9000.00} cash. I later checked my XXXX XXXX XXXX sales sheet and discovered that the dealership with Huntington Bank 's assistance copied XXXX different sales sheets together and falsified the amount that I purchased the vehicle for from this dealership. I have faxed a copy of this false document that surly Huntington Bank did see in processing my car loan with them. I also discovered that the dealership forged my name on a XXXX fast cash loan document for another {$3500.00}. XXXX has told me they have started a bank fraud investigation against this dealership in this matter. I am XXXX Years Old and just got out of the hospital for two weeks and XXXX. Huntington Bank now has me owing them a car loan to them that my name was forged on their loan documents, clearly also the dealership used a false sales document that ultimately has me owing over {$23000.00} for a XX/XX/XXXX XXXX that has a blue book value of less than {$6000.00}.
Huntington Bank and XXXX XXXX XXXX committed bank fraud against me and actually according to XXXX had even their money sent directly to the dealership and at no time does this money show up and is accounted for in this transaction. I have also filed a Complaint against the dealership and asked the State of Kentucky also to investigate this situation. Huntington Bank has me paying the Dealership a large amount of Dealer Reserve with an interest rate of nearly 5.0 % for 72 months even though my credit score is XXXX XXXX.
I have asked the Dealership Owner to take back this vehicle since they committed multiple counts of bank fraud and the Owner has simply just threaten me.

Complaint: I created a loan XX/XX/XXXX initially with XXXX which was later purchased by The Huntington National Bank.
The problem began in the course of a divorce settlement and I was dismissed from responsibility from the loan. I received the loan marked paid and also received a cover letter acknowledging the loan being paid in full, the letter was dated XX/XX/XXXX signed by XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX.
Since then collection efforts have been made and the debt is still shown as outstanding on the three major credit bureaus.
I have the original note marked paid and the letters acknowledging the obligation being paid in full.
