Complaint: On or around XXXX/XXXX/XXXX i contacted Huntingon Bank to remove myself as an authorized user on a friends credit card account ( XXXX XXXX ). In XXXX XXXX I was assigned account number XXXX. The Bank did remove me as an authorized user on the referenced account, but is showing non willful compliance to have this account removed completely from all XXXX credit bureaus. I sent a credit bureau dispute form to all XXXX credit bureaus and was told that they will not be removing this account from credit report and it will remain 7-10 years. I am in the middle of purchasing a home and with this showing on my credit, it has affected my chances for loan approval.Huntington Bank supervisors show no compliance. Huntington Bank under federal law must remove an account from credit report in which the account does not belong. Every other bank has honored my request and has fulfilled the federal law requirements

Complaint: I deposited {$400.00} cash in an ATM on Saturday night XXXX/XXXX/16. The machine ate my entire deposit giving me no cash back and a receipt saying to call my financial institution. I called Huntington immediately and a very rude employee named XXXX said there was nothing she could do and that I should call back Monday morning. I called Monday and was told that I should have filed a dispute on Saturday. Now I have to wait 2 more business days for an investigation! What am I supposed to pay my bills with!? I deposited cash for gods sake!

Complaint: Huntington bank 24 hour grace period The media package nor the brochures offered by the bank do not disclose how this feature does not work. The bank determines whether or not to the transaction so if they determine to not pay it the grace period does not apply, I questioned the formula for their decision for paying or not paying bank states they do n't have one. This is very misleading and the consumer is given permission to overdraft and believes no fee will be incurred when many times a fee is assessed even when deposit is less than 24 hours.Bank states deposit could be 1 minute later it does not matter, this info needs to be given to consumer, not buried in fine print in a XXXX page disclosure that bank employees do n't even mention when opening an account. The fee is even assessed when a direct deposit is pending for 25 times the amount of the transaction, quite a money windfall for the bank at {$37.00} per fee.The media package for Huntington needs to be changed to full disclosure.

Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX I had tried to use my Bank Card and my account was overdrawned so upon going to the website looking at my account I noticed that a few unauthorized transactions had been taken out of my account and so when I got off work I called the fraud team at the bank to let them know about these transactions. She informed me that the money had been taken out by my debit card which is hard to believe cause nobody but me has asset to my Bankcard or pin number. On XXXX/XXXX/16 I had XXXX transactions XXXX for XXXX and XXXX for XXXX which I stated to her I know nothing about she said they came from a XXXX Branch , I know nothing about that Branch only been to the XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX the only branch I know about in this area, she stated that they would pull the film from the camera to see who was at the branch at the time, I want to see who it was also cause I have XXXX dollars missing from my account. Then on XXXX/XXXX/2016 somebody withdrawn another XXXX. from my account that I know nothing about. So if any kind of investigation was done than you would know that it was n't me and could n't have been my card cause I had my card with me at work on both of these days and I was working on the XXXX XXXX. So now I recieve a letter that the transactions were authorized by me if they were where is my money cause I surely did n't get it? I have no idea where my money went and she want to tell me I authorized these transactions well I do n't even know how the money came out the bank but she says my bank card which is so not true cause my card is in my purse at all times. This is fraud and I turned in a fraud report and I want this fully investigated cause my money is gone and somebody has to account for it. I also had a problem with Huntington that was never solved where XXXX XXXX took funds from my account that was n't supposed to be taken and I gave them the paperwork with no charge on it so surely my XXXX. should have been refunded to me. Now if any film were pulled you did n't see me at the machine cause I do n't even know where that branch is, my money should have been put back in my account. my husband has his own card. He never uses my card and I do n't bother his. So if it 's not me or my husband getting the money out nobody should have it is mine and my husbands account so neither of us got the money where is it I do n't work for the bank.

Complaint: I have complained before about our family home of 23 years being stole from under us by Huntington Bank Mortage. We paid everything they asked and they still foreclosed on our house. My grandson who is XXXX XXXX XXXX now is now in counseling because of the XXXX this bank has put us threw. It took " 5 years '' to foreclose on the house according to Huntington Bank. The XXXX XXXX sheriffs office harassed us for months and we finally packed everything into a storage unit and had to leave a lot behind and left. Then on XXXX XXXX XXXX ( my daughters birthday ) they sold the house as a sheriff sale to Huntington Bank for {$48000.00} ( who " owed '' the house in the first place ). Then XXXX5 months later Huntington Bank sent me papers stating I needed to insure the house which we do not own. I called the higher up at Huntington Bank and they stated there is no record of the house being sold and/or foreclosed on. We then received another notice a month or so later stating we still needed to insure the house. Then on XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX we found out that the house was going up for a public auction online where the auctioneer stated the house was sold but XXXX XXXX still has the house in Huntington Bank as the owner. We have been threw XXXX with this bank and I am very disappointed in this Bank as well as XXXX XXXX. There was no professionalism at all dealing with this house and will NEVER have another bank loan again! We are currently living with family members and my daughter and grandson are now in government housing.

Complaint: I am the primary account holder of a checking account at Huntington National Bank. About three weeks ago I noticed a withdrawal of {$34.00} from my bank account and had not made any such withdrawal myself. Being curious, I called the Bank and asked what the withdrawal was. I was told that an account linked to mine had been negative and they were offsetting. After finally getting more information I found out that because my Mother is the secondary account holder of my account and the secondary account holder of my sisters account ( which at the time was negative ), huntington had pulled the amount from my account to fix my sisters account. However, It was n't til long after the complaint that I found this out. I had called on XXXX XXXX, and asked for a return phone call which never came, so on XXXX XXXX, I called them back and explained the situation again and after sitting on hold for a very long time was told that even though the other account was now positive, that the bank was keeping the money. After asking to speak to a manager/supervisor I was told all managers and supervisors were in meetings and I 'd have to leave a voicemail and they would get back to me the very same day. Of course I have not heard back from them. I understand that a bank is in business to make money and part of the way they do that is by collecting fees, however, taking from XXXX to give to another and then keeping for yourself is very questionable. I 'm a student who pays tuition and is on student loans trying to make it on my own, and {$34.00} is a lot of money to someone who on good days struggles to keep a positive balance. I 'm not asking for anything, but my money back. I 've been a Huntington Customer for many years, more than 10 years to be honest, and I have never been more upset with a financial institution than I am right now.

Complaint: This is regarding a car title in the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who recently passed away and who left me his car as inheritance. I could not find his car title so I looked in his documents and found an application for a car loan with Huntington Bank but with no account number or balance. When I called the bank and told them about the above facts they did n't want to disclose to me the information I needed, not even if they in fact had a title and a balance on that loan, but did n't even tell me what I should do to obtain it. They said I needed to go to the bank in person but did n't say which branch ( please notice that I live in XXXX, XXXX. and not in XXXX and have no idea which branch was the loan filed at ). I finally accidentally, after repeated phone calls, found a choice on their phone menu where I could find out information on behalf of others if I had their s.s. or account number ( I had his social security ) and could confirm that there was a balance on the car loan and that they obviously had the car title. After I confronted them and asked why they did n't share this with and make me aware of this choice instead of denying it, they said that they could n't tell me! Finally after getting very frustrated because in the meanwhile the loan accrued late fees and I still could n't obtain the title I had to " raise my voice '' and demand to speak someone right now they said that I needed to contact their probate office. I called there but there is no one live at the number so one has to leave a message and wait to be called back, in the meanwhile other time passing ... Finally they called back to share that I needed to submit documents which I immediately scanned and emailed them to their probate office : death certificate and affidavit of the car beneficiary, I. They gave me a case number and then told me to call the DMV closest to my city after a few days because they would have the car title. After a few days I called DMV in my city and they said that they did n't have and could n't have any title and the only way would be to submit the said title in person to do the tag chance from Ohio to Georgia. It is obvious that at Huntington bank they do n't know what they are talking about. After that there were several other calls with various wrong information. This morning ( XXXX XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX called me from Huntington to inform me that I could not have the title because I needed to contact probate office in XXXX XXXX and needed to change the car title in my name there first. So all these days, actually weeks of innumerable painful phone calls, submitting documents, sending me on wild goose chase to every time having to begin explaining to each representative the process all over again not to list here the frustration involved in it, all for nothing. This is the worst customer service assistance, if one can call it that, I have ever had. It is obvious that there is no internal communication, there is no training of their employee because they do n't know what they are talking about. There is no training on how to communicate with customers because they are also rude and shut people up and instead of listening to what they have to say they want to talk first. I feel offended and abused from an institution that after all survives thanks to the customers money. I just wanted to find out the balance, pay for it, get the title and able to sell my car. This whole matter has been damaging because the car loan is accruing late fees, my car is sitting in the street loosing value and I am getting frustrated, nervous and sick over this matter that seems to be an infinite painful austerity when it could have been a relatively simple matter.
Ultimately what I want is pay the original balance of the loan at the time XXXX XXXX passed on XXXX XXXX, get the car title It is what I would have done had they not obstructed me with their incapacity

Complaint: I am a customer at Huntington bank ( formerly XXXX, formerly XXXX XXXX XXXX and have been so for at least 10 years. I have over drafted with a written check in the past and the bank paid it. I usually use Online Banking now and check my balance regularly. About 5 years ago I talked personally to my branch manager about overdraft protection on my account after they had added it without my permission. We talked about taking off debit card overdraft and keeping written check overdraft protection ( like it was before they changed it ). We came to an agreement with no debit overdraft but with minimal written check overdraft ( anything under or around $ XXXX- {$20.00} amount would be covered no problems anything over could be returned ). I have not over drafted or had any returned checks since my conversation with that manager until a few weeks ago. I have recently and unfortunately had XXXX checks not clear and returned, they were about 4 weeks apart. The bank did not charge me any fees for the returned checks but did not honor and pay them per our agreement. Both checks were over drafted by under {$5.00} ( XXXX was under {$0.00} ) and the total of either check was not over {$20.00}. I have now incurred fees and damages as a result of their failure to honor our agreement and stand behind a product they offer. I have spoken with a phone support supervisor about 12 hours after the last check went through ( court check ) and on the same day as a + {$1000.00} steady, electronic deposit, and about a school check that went through at odd hours with a incoming deposit obvious ( same situation ) and after i had checked my balance before bed. They agreed that this situation is strange and possibly preventable on banks end and agreed to look further into it and also offered to pay for XXXX returned check fee, after i paid it to the court and submitted a receipt at my local branch. I also informed the support supervisor that i had checked my balance just hours before the check cleared ( about XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ) and everything was fine no negative balance or returned checks, at XXXX or before on XX/XX/XXXX there was an electronic deposit incoming of over {$1000.00} that the bank could have clearly seen that could have easily covered the {$0.00} overdraft and could have let the check clear as per our agreement with my branch manager. I inquired if there was any reason that the checks did not clear per the offered product agreement and the first through the XXXX supervisor/manager could not provide an answer other than " that is the way our computer program runs ''. I traveled today XXXX/XXXX/XXXX between XXXX and XXXX to XXXX branch offices in my town and could not find one branch manager available to talk with me. I waited at one branch for over ( 30 mins ) and watched XXXX XXXX leave before they helped me or another person who had been there from when they opened. When i tried to inquire with phone support and a branch assistant about the reimbursement for the court NSF fee i was told there was no record of my first phone call on the XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and they would not admit to any wrong doing or reimburse me for anything even tho i have the original call recorded and had a phone support supervisor mention his name and had a manager admit that she could see on my account when i spoke with my branch manager about checking overdraft protection. I would just like to know on what did they base a decision to deny my checks and not support a product they offer namely Checking Overdraft Protection and 24hr Grace.

Complaint: I currently have a checking account with Huntington Bank. When I logged into the app to check my balance it stated that my account was a XXXX. When I looked into it further I was charged 3 overdraft fees. An extended overdraft fee of $ XXXX and 2 Overdraft fees of {$37.00} for a {$9.00} charge which is being refunded to my account and {$5.00} charge for XXXX. When I called Huntington I explained that I had a {$100.00} in over draft fees and asked why I did not receive a " 24 hour grace '' e-mail like I always do. She stated that I was not signed up for any notifications and sent me to a representative who then enrolled me in the e-mail notification. I had to go into work so I tried speaking with someone via " chat '' who stated it would be my responsibility if my account if overdrafted and refused to waive the fees. I told her I would be calling and speaking with a supervisor. I called and spoke with a gentleman who stated he could only waive {$40.00} ask asked if I wanted him to do that. I said yes but I also want to speak with a supervisor because I do n't understand why I am being charged all these fees for {$160.00}. He transferred me over and spoke with a supervisor on my lunch and not only was I late but had to take an extra half hour with approval to try and get this sorted out. I explained to the supervisor that I never received any insufficient fund notification for the {$5.00} or the {$9.00} so how can I be charged the extended fee and the over draft fees. I explained that per the insufficient fee documents that were on their site I was negative XXXX until XXXX XXXX and that according the the document I would not be charged any late fees if its under {$5.00} and since my account went over the negative {$5.00} on XXXX first I should not be charged the {$25.00} extended fee. I also explained that I never received any 24 hour grace e-mail because if I had I would have had my mom put the money in the bank account to cover it. He stated that since my account was in negative since XXXX XXXX that is why I am being charged the {$25.00} fee. I asked where it states this information and he stated on the agreement. I asked for a copy of the agreement and he said he would send it and never did. After speaking with the supervisor he sent me to a customer service specialist regarding the overdraft fees and the 24 hour grace notification. I spoke with the lady and explained that I always get notification via e-mail which gives me time to deposit money in my account if for any reason I over withdrawal. I told her I never received notification via e-mail, that I do n't go onto the website for my banking and that I use the app which does n't send messages or notifications. She then had someone look to see if I had received notifications in the past and she stated that I was never signed up for alerts and there 's nothing they can do. I said to her that I was 100 % positive that I had received the e-mails before. When I got home I looked through past e-mails and I did in fact have notifications from XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. So not only did I feel like I am being lied to and being made out like I am a liar and trying to scam Huntington but now I am concerned as to why the notifications stopped, why its showing I never received e-mail notifications in the past when I have documentation that shows differently. I called one last time and spoke with XXXX who was very rude, I explained the situation again I read the e-mail from XXXX to prove to her that I had received these notifications. I explained to her that I should n't be responsible if what they offer does not work. She told me that I am responsible and there 's nothing she can do for me. I told her I would be looking into a lawyer and seeing if there 's anything they can do because they are price gouging. I asked again for the agreement she said I would have to go online to find it.
