Account status incorrect
Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX- {$150.00} was scheduled to be transferred for my first home equity payment with Huntington . I scheduled the payment online using the information XXXX details on my account for electronic payment purposes.
XX/XX/XXXX-Huntington called me to say there was an issue with my payment. I made another payment online, {$230.00} using the instructions from XXXX and XXXX.
XX/XX/XXXX-I called Huntington to verify there were no issues with the payment as it was not showing as pending in my XXXX account. Huntington employee informed me that the payment had posted on their end and there were no issues.
XX/XX/XXXX-I received a notification from my credit monitoring service that Huntington reported my account as delinquent and my score dropped 85 points to XXXX.
XX/XX/XXXX-I went into the local branch to pay cash for XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ( {$330.00} ) and have them set up an automatic payment so that I would not ever experience this issue again. The branch manager filed a complaint to have my delinquent status removed from my credit report as I had followed all of Huntington 's instructions and it was their error.
Unsure of date-Huntington sent me a letter stating that they had made an accurate report to the credit bureaus and refused to reverse their delinquent status. Huntington placed my home equity account on hold, halting my home improvement projects.
Early XXXX-I spoke with Huntington regarding the reinstatement of my loan as my account was showing with the credit bureaus as improved. They refused my withdrawal request stating the account had gone delinquent. XXXX at my local branch then got involved and was hoping that her customer service contacts would be able to rectify the situation as the error was in Huntington 's system.
XX/XX/XXXX-XXXX provided a letter to Huntington stating that they did not submit details on the above referenced dates for the above referenced funds. XXXX further provided Huntington, who were saying the funds were returned as NSF, that no such status was given to my account and no fees were assessed and that I had sufficient funds for the withdrawal. XXXX also outlined in the letter that Huntington processed the payments that were set up with their branch on XX/XX/XXXX incorrectly but fixed the information and informed Huntington of their error.
XX/XX/XXXX-Huntington provided detail to share with XXXX that funds were reported by XXXX as " Hold on Funds '' XX/XX/XXXX-XXXX provided detail to share with Huntington that they sent Huntington an unable to locate account status as the payment was processed as an electronic check XX/XX/XXXX-I provided Huntington screen shots of their customer payment screen to show them that the payments are set up on their website as transfers and verified that the information I provided was correct.
XX/XX/XXXX-XXXX from Huntington 's local branch called me to tell me that Huntington was still unwilling to correct the error on my credit report or recognize that the error in payment was theirs. I forwarded XXXX all details so that she was brought back up to speed.
XX/XX/XXXX-XXXX from Huntington sent me an email to tell me that Huntington was not accepting XXXX 's letter and information regarding the lack of processing on Huntington 's part. I called XXXX they suggested I send Huntington my statements to show that my account had sufficient funding and was ready to accept their withdrawal if Huntington had properly processed it.
XX/XX/XXXX-I went into the local Huntington branch to ask for a status update as well as request again for my account to be reinstated. XXXX informed me that she would ask again.

Transaction was not authorized
Complaint: I was in XXXX on a business trip and went to an establishment called XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. While I was at this club, I realized that I no longer had possession of my wallet. I looked frantically for my wallet before asking a waitress if she had seen it, she acted as though she didn't understand me. I then found the manager and asked him if anyone had turned in a wallet. He acted like he didn't understand the question, but eventually told me no wallet had been turned in. I returned to the table to find my wallet sitting in a spot that I would have noticed when I was looking, but was just relieved to find it. Upon leaving the establishment, I tried to pay for a taxi, and was told the card was declined. I checked my bank account online and realized that someone had, in multiple transactions, taken more than 6000.00 from my checking account via debit card transactions. I went back to the club to confront the manager, but he acted like nothing had happened told me that he was closing. After getting nowhere with the merchant, I contacted Huntington National Bank customer service to dispute the transactions as fraudulent. I told them that I didn't have my wallet for an extended period of time, and that I did not authorize these charges. I said to look back in my 7 year history as customer to see that spending XXXX in a night is not something I do. I asked why my card didn't stop working to prevent further activity once I hit a certain dollar amount, and I explained that it was a foreign country. To this point, my bank has said that since the card was swiped that they will not refund the money. I am going to be unable to pay my mortgage or other household bills due to all of my liquid money being taken from me in a few short hours. I need to have this money back to take care of my family. Please help.
Here are the transactions which all occurred in the early morning of XX/XX/18 : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX- XXXX XXXX XXXX- XXXX XXXX XXXX- XXXX XXXX XXXX- XXXX XXXX XXXX- XXXX XXXX XXXX- XXXX This was all of my liquid funds. I have never had anything like this happen to me before in 7 years with Huntington Bank. I was robbed, and up to this point, I have been treated as though I am trying to scam Huntington Bank. Again, Please Help!

Complaint: OnXX/XX/XXXX I was told that to obtain a 2nd mortgage on my home I needed a letter of retirement for the title of our double wide mobile home. I called Huntington Bank that was listed on our mortgage and was told they didnt have access to mortgage paperwork. I was given Huntington Customer service number XXXX to request the letter and was told that he would submit my request and we would receive it in the mail. I waited a week and called again to see if they had located the letter and was told that it is still being processed. While waiting I ask a friend who is an attorney to see if he knew how to obtain the letter of retirerment and he requested it through the state of representatives office. My attorney said that the title was never retired. I was advised to contact Huntington Bank again because they had done a refinance for us in XX/XX/XXXX so they should have the title and they could retire it and get us the letter. I have been going back and forth with Huntington and they say they dont require this letter when they do a mobile home loan, they tell us they dont have the titles and that it is our responsibility to get them. Because of Huntington Bank refusing to help us or listen to us we can not get a 2nd mortgage, we can not sell our house or even make arrangements to go into a nursing home because all the Banks and Credit Unions we have spoken to explain to us that without this Letter of Retirement they can not give us a loan. Please help us, my husband is XXXX and I am XXXX and not in good health. This stress is hard on us. I spoke to XXXX XXXX and they verified the titles were never retirered and that they are in the name of XXXX XXXX that is now Huntington Bank. I was given the form ( MV38L ) needed to get duplicate titles so I can have them retired but XXXX XXXX will not issue them to me because we have a lien on it through Huntington Bank. I spoke to XXXX XXXX in the Executive office who said they do not need the titles so it is up to me to get them. Huntington Bank also put Riders on our mortgage that do not in any way pertain to our property. They added a PUD rider and a Condo rider. I asked about that and they said they would see about taking them off because that would just cause questions if we are ever able to sell our home. I was told I would of paid for those but I am unskilled at finding that out. My last conversation with XXXX was today and she told me that I had to contact XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX to see if they can help me.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: Huntington Bank has willfully chosen to use A Standard tactic which misrepresents an accurate account of this case, by SELECTIVELY choosing partial facts, which supports their preference, while ignoring other facts, which would contradict Huntington Banks desired outcome.
The complaint Huntington bank references to prove their case CFPB case # XXXX XXXX was not drafted by me and this is the first time I have become aware of it.
Huntington Bank has admitted they THOROUGHLY REVIEWED THIS MATTER and researched all the facts. If Huntington is so confident why have they REFUSED to provide me with the FULL DISCLOSURE I have requested on numerous occasions?
Huntington Bank has ZERO material facts this account is my responsibility. * They simply claim, we conducted our investigation and conclude this debt belongs to you, but we will not provide you with the material facts to support our findings. This is ABSURD!
I have a list of all my CFPB complaints and the case Huntington Bank references is not anywhere on my list.
I have had my previous email addresses compromised and nearly every part of my life. If Huntington Bank actually THOROUGHLY REVIEWED THIS MATTER as they claimed, they would have discovered I have filed ( 8 ) separate complaints concerning ID Theft with the CFPB and FTC. Each time providing a notarized Affidavit of Identity & an Identity Theft Report through the FTC signed under the penalties of perjury.
In Huntington Banks findings their entire claim relies on a previous CFPB complaint from nearly a year ago, prior to me being aware someone was using my identity. Anyone can email a complaint from anywhere. Huntington Bank would have a huge hurdle to convince a court this account is my responsibility. ( I filed my initial ID Theft claim in XXXX XXXX ) Huntington Bank has a direct financial interest to deny my ID Theft claim, it is the only way they can attempt to collect.
Here is a summary of the facts regarding Huntington Banks most recent findings from their letter dated XX/XX/XXXX : Huntington Bank received my latest dispute on XX/XX/XXXX Huntington Bank claims to have replied to previous complaints filed with the CFPB case # XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX - XXXX, & XXXX - XXXX Huntington Bank references CFPB complaint # XXXX XXXX, stating in this complaint I agreed all transactions were authorized by me. As a result, based solely on the above complaint ending in XXXX, Huntington Bank has denied my ID Theft claim. The problem Huntington Bank has is the FACT, I never wrote the complaint they reference, it is not from me and unless Huntington Bank has other Material PROOF, they have no legal standing.
Huntington bank has willfully decided to forego the basic legal requirement of any contract/agreement anywhere on this planet and I do not say this lightly.
Essentially, Huntington Bank claims they thoroughly reviewed this matter and has material evidence I am responsible for the charges, but refuses to provide me any proof or material facts which led them to their decision.Claiming by doing so would jeopardize PROPRIETARY INFORMATION Definition of Proprietary Information : Information that is not public knowledge ( such as certain financial data, test results or trade secrets ) and that is viewed as the property of the holder.
Yet, the information I have requested are NOT trade secrets.
Huntington Bank is claiming this account was opened for over a year. There is a good chance whoever opened and used this account contacted Huntington Bank via phone, Huntington Bank records every conversation ( Every American knows this ), I simply request the recordings of phone conversations, this would help prove whether I am responsible for this account.
Huntington Bank uses voice recognition so they know if the recordings they have are my voice.
Huntington Bank buys data from dozens of sources to create an interface of every customer. This interface is part of each customer file. I know this for a fact, therefore providing it to me does NOT reveal proprietary information.
Huntington Bank uses a DNA program from XXXX which includes XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Threat defense. I am well versed with XXXX XXXX XXXX, so again, Huntington banks claim of jeopardizing their proprietary information is completely baseless.
Besides the above, Huntington Banks claim they are not lawfully obligated to provide information they collect about me and have used in their investigation to conclude this account belongs to me is entirely outrageous and fales and they know this better than anyone.
Huntington Banks refusal to provide material evidence supporting their good faith investigation does not stand a chance in any court.
I am requesting Huntington bank to either provide material proof the charges related to this account belong to me or halt all collection activities.
I am also informing Huntington Bank I have no intention of paying XXXX XXXX of any debt which does not belong to me.
My attorney has advised me if any bank genuinely believes I owe a debt they will file a civil claim. However, if any bank files a legal claim without conducting a reasonable investigation, I can add charges against them to my counterclaim.
Therefore, If Huntington bank believes they have any legal right to this debt, file their civil claim. At which point I will hand it over to my attorney XXXX XXXX of XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, who will file my counterclaim.
I am now formally requesting Huntington Bank : * DO NOT contact me again in anyway concerning this alleged debt unless it is a summons/complaint.
