Complaint: Went to my local grocery store one I have written checks for over 500 times never once has any bounced today they denied my purchase for code 2 saying it was an error and no it wouldnt reverse it decision. Complaint: Back when I was a college student in XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX reported me for " account abuse '' because of an overdraft. I subsequently paid the {$120.00} I owed and I was told by the branch manager that the account was " paid in full '' and that everything was " taken care of ''.
Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX when I tried to open a checking account at another bank, I was denied because XXXX XXXX XXXX was still reporting me for " account abuse ''. I am confused because five years ago in XXXX I paid the bank the {$120.00} I owed and they assured me everything was resolved. So I decided to dispute the Chexsystems entry based on its inaccuracy.
Then when my mother tried to open a checking account at another bank, she was also denied because apparently XXXX XXXX XXXX switched my information with hers. Recently, we visited a local XXXX XXXX XXXX branch in order to try to get the mix-up rectified, but we were told that there was nothing the bank could do, and they instructed us to call customer service instead.
This has caused a tremendous amount of confusion and distress for me and my mother. I want the Chexsystems entry deleted from both my records and my mother 's record as well. It is completely unfair that my mother can not open a new bank account because my information has been mixed up with hers.

Problem getting your free annual credit report
Complaint: On XX/XX/18 I requested a copy of my credit report using chexsystems and using there automated machine at XXXX. I had received a report this way in the past. I have had an XXXX breach, XXXX breach, also I had been alerted that a previous potential employer had a confidentiality breach due to a past employee stealing a laptop with personal information. Address, Social security numbers, State and government issued IDs, etc. I have also had issues with my bank account XXXX XXXX XXXX, and cell phone carrier, XXXX which my father, mother and brother and I are all under one plan. Not receiving the report is alarming since you leave all identifying information verbally. There is not a person to speak to nor a facility close by to discuss my report. So I requested one online and received a confirmation that I would be receiving the report within 5 business days so most likely by Tuesday or wendsday of next week today is XX/XX/18.

When attempting to inquire/remove the information I received no response. I was totally embarrassed and humiliated. Everyone at the counter was looking at me like I was a thief. I was a cop for over 20 yrs...
Their call back number did nothing, and the computer generated voice activation system, kept messing up my account # when I called.
This company has 590 complaints on the Consumer Affairs website, and is rated at one star out of 5. Totally incompetent.. Please fine them and yank their permits to operate as a legitimate business.

I would like an apology from the CEO - XXXX XXXX XXXX in writing to myself and the employees at XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX mens suit dept. who worked on XX/XX/2018. The check was for {$530.00}. They had to run two checks, and one CC ( finally accepted ) and take the time to re-check out the items I purchased and caused a back up in the line, and people giving me dirty looks like I did something wrong.
I would like the same from Certegy 's CC VP - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, because it is his division. And no one answers the phones to correct this at XXXXXXXX XXXX on a Sat. afternoon. If credit is granted XXXX ; the company ought to have people available to correct their mistakes.
Certegy should probably pick up half the tab that day. I mean really. You see it all the time in stores where people just stick in a CC and the store accepts it. Sign names like XXXX XXXX and post it to the internet. Even when people hand over a drivers lic. clerks rarely look at the picture. In the old days people were questioned about their documents, but not anymore. Big business and banks are always right, and to speak up about anything they hide behind rules, and automated systems that are not human to correct.
Maybe Certegy should be promoted and put in charge of the USA 's nuclear missiles. I'm sure they'd do a great job. Complaint: Chexsystem 's refuses to accept my FTC Report from the Federal Trade Commission, which is proof of identity theft as a source of documentation to remove the inaccurately reported checking account information which XXXX also advised me they purposely are reporting it inaccurately. The Checking account lists that there were " Account Abuse ''. Per the credit union, they reported this information after closing the checking account even though the account was current at the time of closure. The accounts were never abused per the credit union, one dispute was filed for transactions that occurred online as a result of identity theft. These transactions were for a online streaming service called XXXX. Per the credit union, they closed this checking account due to this dispute. At that time they negatively withdrew the charges twice, and then charged a fee. They never notified me " The Consumer '' about any of these charges, nor disputes nor ever provided any information on any of this. It was months later when i had to actually walk into a branch and ask them if they knew anything about the ChexSystems report. They said they weren't sure as they show the checking account current and closed and are not sure what happened. They called their management which again told them they did not report any information to chexsystems.
Upon speaking to XXXX further, they are advising me they are reporting this information as inaccurate even though i have reported identity theft. They are reporting this because they say since the credit card accounts were " Charged off '' that automatically shows account abuse and they will report it for every account they have in their institution. Even though it isn't true. XXXX continually unblocked and blocked my online access for many months this occurred. Not only do they report this information inaccurately they show addresses i have never lived at including XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX XXXX. Furthermore i reviewed the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act chexsystems previously mentioned in that report this is mentioned " Notify law enforcement ; or Determine that no response is warranted under the circumstance. '' Under these circumstances since XXXX verified that they reported the inaccurate information on purpose to me and the NCUA. This information should be blocked from my file immediately. I as a consumer have a right to determine if law enforcement is warranted. They openly admitted to reporting inaccurate information. Therefore under the FCRA, I am submitting to you a statement of identity theft from the Federal Trade Commission which is put in place to protect consumers against identity theft and to have this inaccurate information blocked immediately.

Complaint: I had checking account and charged from XXXX of {$35.00} for membership. I was given 90 days as trial period and I could cannel this within 90 if I did not like their products.
Within 6 days member ship was cancelled and I had entire 90 days to cancel. Around XX/XX/XXXX was the last day to cancel membership. Cancellation dated email was sent on XX/XX/XXXX is not 90 days.
Multiple banks I tried to open new accounts has been denied because credit reporting indicates I have not paid {$180.00}.
My member ship was canceled within time allowed and I dont to pay anything to XXXX XXXX. The amount that I was supposed to be paid was {$35.00} and late fee and other charges has been added to come to {$180.00}.

I did not authorize this account to be opened and came to learn ofsame after being denied a savings account. Upon receipt of myChexsystems report in XX/XX/XXXX, I immediately disputed same on the basis of fraudulent and requested the negative reporting information be removed from Chexsystems. I continued to make attempts to contact the XXXX XXXX XXXX in an effort to have the information removed but was unsuccessful. I continued to advise the bank that i did not open this account.After filing a fraud identity report with the FTC, I forwarded acopy of same to the bank evidencing fraudulent activity, again requesting the false information be removed. I have had toplace security freezes and fraud alerts on my credit report. In the alternative, I also requested, should the bank maintain thatthis account was valid, albeit false, that they provide theappropriate documents to verify this. To date, I still have notreceived any information from the bank verifying the accuracy of this account and I continue to maintain that this was a fraudulently acquired account opened by someone who usedmy personal information without my consent. On XX/XX/XXXX, after being denied for another bank account, I received aChexSystems report indicating that this institution continuedto report negative information. I again disputed the informationon the basis of fraud I requested any documentation that the bank believed would verify the accuracy of the of the account.As of this date I have not received one document. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a third Chexsystems report after continuing tobe denied for a bank account, except this time denied at a local credit union. This institution continues to report account abuse despite the fact that it is false and is a clear violation ofthe FRCA which requires them to accurately reportinformation, and correct and remove any inaccurate information. The FRCA also requires this institution to verify, with proper documentation, within 30 days. Thereafter should this institution be fail to do same, the inaccurate and negative information must be removed. It is now almost 2 years sincethe date that this was first reported and this institution has notprovided one single document to prove or verify the accuracy of this account. The negative reporting information hasinhibited me from getting a bank account and I am facingsevere financial hardship that is affecting my ability to afford my rent. To date, I still have not received any information from the bank verifying the accuracy of this activity and I continue to maintain that any suspected fraudulent activity was not done on my part and I have never knowingly and/or intentionally mishandled an account with this or any other institution. On XX/XX/XXXX, after being denied for another bank account, I received a ChexSystems report indicating that this institution continued to report negative information. I again disputed the information on the basis of its inaccuracy. I again requested any documentation that the bank believed would verify the accuracy of their negative reporting. The report itself implies that it has not been verified by indicating that any such fraudulent activity, albeit denied, is merely suspected The FRCA requires this institution to verify, with proper documentation, this informations accuracy within 30 days. Unable to open an account
Complaint: Good morning. Ive been on Chex systems for a couple years now. Ive been trying to open a checking account but when I apply to serval branches they decline due to Chex systems. I had a fraud activity when I was younger with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. They stold my card and I spoke to the banker and they close my account. Later on I have to pay a return fee balance which I did. It happen on XX/XX/14. They are not helping me remove something that didnt cause by me Chex systems when I call are very rude and not helping. I need to know if Im able to open a account now its been years and I have a right to do that because I never had this problem in my life. This is ridiculous and Im highly upset and if I have to sue the company of not understanding my issue or accusing me this was my fault I will do so. I need some one higher of a company to help me with my issue.
