Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, upon checking my bank account online I noticed I had three ( 3 ) overdraft fees of {$29.00} from XXXX.
I called the XXXX XXXX number to ask why did put the checks through, now, three times. In the past, XXXX has notified XXXX will only put a check through two times and then send written communication to the consumer for payment and/or legal action.
I was informed by a XXXX rep. when I called on XX/XX/2018, that they no longer collect return checks in-house and that the company Certegy now handles all of their return checks.
I called Certegy and found out they were the ones who debited my checking account WITHOUT ANY WRITTEN NOTIFICTION/COMMUNIATION to me as the consumer at all.
I could not provide a control number for the Certegy rep. on XX/XX/2018, as I NEVER received any written communication notifying Certegy was now handling the debt collection for XXXX.
I was NEVER GIVEN the chance to pay my debt or set up arrangements to pay my debt.
*CERTEGY DEBITED MY CHECKING ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY WRITTEN NOTIFICATION AND/OR CALL AND WITH MY PERMISSION.
Yes, I owe a DEBT, BUT THAT DOES NOT GIVE ANY COLLECTION AGENCY RIGHT TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT PERMISSION, UPON TAKING OVER FOR ANOTHER COMPANY.
Certegy 's actions caused my bank account to overdraft.
This is not right and certainly not fair.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX has acknowledged the balance on an account I formerly had with them was the result of Identity Theft. They are reporting the account to ChexSystems. After investigating they decided to consider the debt paid since it was not a result of any authorized activity. Although XXXX has acknowledged the debt is a result of fraudulent activity, they have wrongfully decided to continue reporting the account with the exception of changing the status to paid. This action could lead lenders to believe the balance was accurate at some point, which is false.

It is explicitly stated that each report submitted to ChexSystems remains on our files for five years, unless the bank or credit union that filed the report requests its removal or ChexSystems becomes obligated to remove it under applicable law. With that said, its been 7 years and I have spoken with XXXX XXXX and the Chexsystem and they each continue to tell me to speak with the other party. This has caused me to not receive employment, be denied from loans and its me and my wife from purchasing our new home. Please remove this account from my ChexSystem report.

Complaint: An account with XXXX was opened by a family member without my authorization. This family member had access to all of my financial and personal information. I worked closely with XXXX XXXX, the CFPB, the FTC, the 3 main credit bureaus and XXXX XXXX XXXX ( the collection agency that bought the account ) FOR MANY MONTHS to resolve the account.
The creditor, the collection agency concluded the account was a result of identity theft and thus all collection activity stopped. After further review, the charges with XXXX XXXX were a result of unauthorized payments made to the fraudulent account with XXXX. As evidence of my claims please review the attached documents.
As the CEO of an investment and acquisition conglomerate, I do not have the luxury of time for this matter to be corrected. The erroneous entry on my credit report is interfering with my ability to fulfill my role with my employer and thus threatening my job stability. A core function of my job is to secure financing for the corporation 's acquisitions. This often requires a personal guarantee. Complaint: I applied for a checking account with both XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and was denied due to incorrect reporting of a fraudulent account that was proven to be fraud by XXXX Police Department. I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX, XXXX to be added to my aunt 's checking account as an authorized user and was told there was an account on my XXXX report from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX that was reporting fraudulent activity at an address I have never lived at ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ). I filed a police report in XXXX, XXXX, where I currently reside, because I suspect the tenant, XXXX XXXX of XXXX, XXXX, stole my identity, then used my information to open an account without my permission. The account was opened in XXXX, according to XXXX report. I attached my IG with my XXXX address, the only address I've ever lived. XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Replied stating they would not remove the account and expected payment because an individual walked into the bank on XX/XX/XXXX and opened an account with my ID. My ID and SSN card was stolen, as I stated above, and even after I provided XXXX XXXX with the identity theft criminal report case number from XXXX Police ( XXXX PD Criminal Report # : XXXX ) upon request, the account still has not been removed.

Complaint: I went to XXXX in XXXX In where a employee of the same company I work cashed his check I presented my check from the same company was denied by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called the phone provide by XXXX and was told they could not tell me why they refused my payroll check. I went to XXXX in XXXX In and XXXX in XXXX IL and they would not cash the check and again given the number for Certegy.. When calling the Automated system does not offer clear way to get information or clear way to dispute there decision. I went to Certegy web page and again no clear way to dispute there decision. The only thing I could see for information was to ask for a copy of my file. I requested the file and waited 2 weeks for it to arrive. While waiting I earned another paycheck and decided to cash it with XXXX mobile deposit. Certegy again denied my check for deposit. At this time I had received my file from Certegy. On the first of six pages it lists all the checks I have cashed or presented for cashing. Beside the item it reads Authorized or Not Authorized reason below with a microscope 99 see reason below.. Under the list it says 99 this transaction fell outside Certegy Guidelines.. The next column is for outstanding items.. Nowhere on the six pages is the an explanation of code 99 other than whatever code 99 is my file was perfectly clear. Again in the six pages there is no place to dispute the decision or find out the reason for Certegy to turn down payroll checks that I work hard. My next action was to call Certegy at a different number that was given to me when they refused my paycheck. I spent an hour on the phone with there representative verifying Identity and going over my file and verifying funds in my employers account. She told me my file look good and did not see a reason for my paychecks not to be cashed. Then the representative told me there was nothing she could do and could not provide me with a dispute Certegys decision. So after all of this I found out they should cash my payroll check. They won't cash my payroll check and did not give me any explanation or way of disputing there action. I go to work and work hard as a bricklayer and Certegy has stop all options for me to cash my check without driving 200 miles to my employer financial institution.

Complaint: I went to open a Bank account and once they ran the ChexSystems 3 accounts came up on my account that were listed as NSF ( 2 ) activity or Account Abuse ( 1 ) I wrote to the banks and to ChexSystems on XX/XX/XXXX to let them know that I had no recollection of owning or signing for these accounts. I received a letter from one of the banks stating that the account was valid but they did not send me proof of signature. I wrote them another letter on XX/XX/XXXX requesting that they send me proof of signature.
