Complaint: I became aware of being a victim of identity theft when I received a call from XXXX Police to come into the office for an important matter. At the initial meeting, my information such as SSN, Driver license, as well as my citizenship paper were in the hands of the officer. It was then that I went to review my bank account and credit report to realize the monies had been taken out from my bank account and numerous of bank cashed checks as well as credit card were under my name. With this action, there is a court case still in pending status. At this time, I have tried to open another bank account so I can cash my checks from work to continue my daily life, however, I am unable to do so due to identity theft and the inquirer information of my CHEXSystems report. Complaint: I applied to a Credit Union as was told I could not get an account because of a ChexSystems report. I had no idea what that was, so I ordered a copy delivered. Upon delivery, I see a mark from XX/XX/2013 from XXXX XXXX that says " Account Abuse ''. The total amount claimed to be charged off was XXXX. This is completely inaccurate. I still have accounts in goodstanding with XXXX XXXX. I never received any notices, and I certainly did not abuse my account. This was a joint checking account that was soley used to pay our mortgage at the time. This is a bogus description and a bad business practice. I had other linked accounts and was never given information about any abuse of the account.

Complaint: Chexsystems is reporting possible fraud with XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/17. Also, marked unpaid. I went to XXXX and spoke with a manager who called XXXX department. There is no unpaid balance. Also, said that they weren't sure on the suspected fraud activity. They said could have been possible bounced checks that triggered report. The last activity I had with the account was at XXXX XXXX buying a XXXX gift card ... ..shortly after I received an email saying account was frozen. XXXX account # XXXX They said to write to your business to investigate.

Complaint: My mother purchased a money order with cash on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX at XXXX in XXXX, Wisconsin. I took the money order to XXXX in XXXX XXXX XXXX, IA on XX/XX/XXXX to cash. To my deep embarrassment, the customer service staff in the XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX were unable to cash the money order. Instead they printed a slip containing the telephone number to a company called XXXX. I phoned the number provided immediately, entered the information as requested before having the automated system say that the information does not match due to reason code number 2. I thought maybe I entered the information incorrectly since it didn't match and tried to cash the money order again. The check was declined a second time and a third time with the same responses. After attempting no less than 7 times to cash the money order I gave up and headed home without the much needed groceries. I called my mom when I got into the parking lot trying to understand why a money order paid for in cash could or would be declined. I asked if by chance she used her SSN when purchasing the money order instead of mine, but she said she didn't recall providing one. After trying desperately to come up with some reason why this was happening I concluded that the XXXX staff must have done something wrong. I opted to go to the XXXX in XXXX, IA on XX/XX/XXXX in the hopes that the mistake would be corrected with new staff trying. I spent no less than 2 hours working with the XXXX, IA XXXX staff that included the store manager trying to cash the money order. The staff was able to validate that the check was good and the information I provided ( which included my drivers license and SSN ) matched what was listed on the money order. I was even able to provide an image of the receipt of purchase that my mom texted to me at my request. I sit here with no money and not enough food for my family. Some background - I've never bounced a check because I've never written one. I got a bank account for the first time ever just 4 months ago. I have never had a credit card, car loan or installments. So there is no fricking way in XXXX that this is legit. I have been embarrassed and I am absolutely furious that I do not have access to the money that was validated in their own system.

Complaint: i wrote a check from a local bank ( XXXX ) to make a purchase at XXXX XXXX. I have done so in the past and have had no problems. Today XXXX XX/XX/2018, my check was declined. When I asked my bank they said it was the company Certegy that declined it not them. I tried to contact the company with their phone service both ( XXXX ) XXXX and ( XXXX ) XXXX to inquire why. You can not get a person. When I tried to enter my information using the phone it would not take my driver 's license number thus I could not ask for a credit report or inquire as to why they declined it. The only other contact was a PO Box number. However, I do not trust this method and want to talk to a person.

Complaint: I disputed the inquiries on my Chex Systems consumer report over 90days ago. The report still does not show a statement that I disputed these items by the consumer. Since this report does not have that missing statement it must be deleted. Also the report states that all inquiries will be reviewed from 90days to 3yrs. The report does not show what inquiries will stay for 90days or what inquiries will stay for 3yrs. With this confusing statement again all inquiries must be deleted.

Complaint: Received a call from " XXXX XXXX '' licensed process server of " XXXX ''. According to a quick internet search, XXXX XXXX impersonates himself as a " licensed process server '' of XXXX XXXX, AZ and XXXX XXXX, GA while having offices located in " New York ''. XXXX XXXX refused to send a debt validation letter via US Mail and instead tried to send one via e-mail, which was simply typed up in Microsoft Word. XXXX XXXX claimed that I would be sued immediately if I did not comply and could face arrest and garnishment of wages for a {$190.00} debt that was from three bad checks, which I did not personally write. I explained to XXXX XXXX that I was not the person who wrote the checks and he subsequently told me that Certegy and their clients would not lose the money on this debt, and whether I wrote them or not, since I was the account owner, I would need to pay for the debt or face a lawsuit and that I should seek legal avenues to get reimbursement for the individual who defrauded me - although that individual is a drug addict and is transient. XXXX XXXX would not disclose his company address. He called me in XXXX telling me that I would be served the next day if I did not comply and no one ever showed up to my address. Two months later on XX/XX/XXXX I received another call telling me that I would be served again unless I paid the debt and that he could not work with me and would provide no information to me. Apparently XXXX XXXX of XXXX also goes by the name XXXX XXXX
