Complaint: I had a checking account and I was robbed and reported it to the police and to the bank and there was some activity on the account that caused the bank to do an investigation and they replaced some of the money that was taken from the account and then closed the account and reported it as suspected fraud activity even after a police report was submitted to them and everything and they even have the persons name and everything that did the fraudulent activity on my account. I disputed this with the bank and they still refuse to take it off of my record. I don't see how they can accuse people of things like this and put derogatory marks on their record without proof that the person is guilty therefore hindering that person 's life.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I applied to open a new business checking account at the XXXX, XXXX location of XXXXXXXX XXXX. On the following day, XX/XX/XXXX I was notified the bank declined to open the account due to information provided to them by Chex Systems. I was told I would need to contact Chex Systems to get more information. While this is not the primary reason for my complaint, I have an issue with any organization that has information about me that is impacting a financial or credit transaction and that organization chooses not to provide me with that information. My complaint however is directed at Chex Systems. I requested my Chex Systems report via Chex Systems online request form on Thursday XX/XX/XXXX. I provided them with my personal information as well as an email address. Other than the web form indication that I had completed the form, I received no email confirming the report request was received or would be processed. Friday XX/XX/XXXX I checked my email and still did not see any confirmation. Saturday XX/XX/XXXX I requested the report a 2nd time to be sure I would receive it. Monday XX/XX/XXXX after more than an hour of research online I found instruction and a phone number to reach human support for Chex Systems. The female individual indicated that my online report request was received Thursday XX/XX/XXXX and was mailed Friday XX/XX/XXXX. I understand Chex Systems is required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act to provide the report within 5 days and assume that to mean 5 business days. As of Thursday XX/XX/XXXX I have not received any report from Chex Systems and XXXXXXXX XXXX still refuses to open a checking account on the basis of Chex Systems report. I understand that Chex Systems is in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act for failing to provide me with the report. This is the primary reason for my complaint. Additionally, this chain of events is preventing me from opening a bank account and engaging in general business activity for a newly formed LLC. For more detail about the gravity of this situation and how it is affecting me and probably other consumers I will continue to elaborate. XXXX, a banker at XXXXXXXX XXXX, actually mentioned XXXX XXXX initially when she called on XX/XX/XXXX to notify me that they would not open the account. When I pressed for more detail she would not provide any more information and said I would need to contact Chex Systems. I called The XXXX XXXX XXXX on Saturday XX/XX/XXXX to see why or what they would have reported me. XXXX in the fraud department said she could not find any record of my name or social security number in their system and could not do anything beyond that, but she was as helpful and sympathetic to my request. On Monday XX/XX/XXXX I went to the XXXXXXXX XXXX branch in XXXX, XXXX and spoke with the branch manager XXXX XXXX to try and get all information about me that was provided by Chex Systems. He refused to provide the name of XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX or anything else that pertained to Chex Systems or the reason I was declined for a bank account. I stated my position and he agreed to ask the bank 's compliance department for permission to release the name ( XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ). On Thursday XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX and he did state the company listed on my Chex System report was indeed XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX of XXXX, XXXX. I contacted XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX again on Thursday XX/XX/XXXX and she contacted Chex Systems which stated there was no inquiry or activity reported by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX related to my name or SSN. I am EXTREMELY upset by XXXXXXXX XXXX 's decision to decline my bank account on the basis of Chex Systems and the simultaneous refusal to help identify what info they have from Chex Systems that is causing them to decline my account. XXXX has also stated that is is likely no other bank will open a new account for me based on this same Chex Systems report.

I have written checks many times at that exact location of XXXX XXXX before with no declines of my checks. I was told today by the XXXX XXXX checkout staff to call Certegy, and was given the phone number to call, which is XXXX. I spoke with a woman at Certegy about XXXX XXXX over the phone, and it was a very bad call, and not what I wanted to hear. ( I do not remember her name, but all calls are recorded. And yes, I was VERY upset and I used a curse word and anger filled words because she refused to give me the exact reason, as I asked her several times. We as consumers should never be treated and punished in this way. I lost my father and uncle in the same year recently, so I was very upset. I apologize for the bad words and anger, but you can understand why I was so upset. This should not have happened. ) The amount of the check was for {$110.00}, which includes {$40.00} cash back. Same credit union and same bank as I wrote a check there before at the same location. I have a copy of my Certegy report and NO checks are outstanding or showing returned, so there is literally NO reason why this should have happened. I am upset, humiliated and embarrassed. I feel harassed and insulted to say the least. Consider this a direct complaint against Certegy for the way they treated me and declining my check without ANY EXACT REASON given. A cookie-cutter list of reasons is NOT the exact reason. And she REFUSED to tell me the real reason, which is unacceptable, and should be considered a direct attack on my credibility and integrity. I shop at that store all the time. I will not be forced to use another form of payment, when this is basically the only way I do business. I have been a victim of fraud in the past, so I can not use a debit or credit card anymore. I do not feel comfortable using any form of card now because of being a victim of fraud and theft directly towards me. Please, get on top of this right away for me. I would greatly appreciate it. The bank declined my application and stated there is fraudulent activity processed under my name. Complaint: ChexSystems has been repeatedly contacted. I have sent in every piece of documentation, proof, contacted them by phone, contacted them by mail, contacted them online. Without resolution. I am a victim of ID Theft. I am requesting them to block the incorrectly reported inquiries. I have sent in a FTC Affidavit. Per the LAW this goes directly to my local police department. This was Sent to XXXX PD. They are aware of this document and have taken the report number down. ChexSystems still continues to deny my identity theft claims, and simply states they do not have to block any information unless i provide them a law enforcement document that is " signed '' This FTC Report is signed. I will provide the additional detail of what i have discovered on my ChexSystems report. First of all ChexSystems has wrong address ( s ) on file. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX TX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX XXXX. This is just to name a few. They also have three names listed XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. These two names are not my correct names i want these blocked and deleted as well. I want the addresses listed above taken care of as well. This has gone on long enough, there inquiries are not permissible. I did not grant any bank any permission to open or attempt to open checking accounts. These applications were all submitted online as i am starting to figure out from the companies themselves. Not only that these are DUPLICATING. With a security freeze on file legally no one should be able to check my ChexSystems. YET Chexsystems is abusing FCRA and allowing inquiries to go through. I want all of these inquiries blocked. These inquiries include multiple inquiries from XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX Texas, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Not only are these Duplicated they are almost triple and quadruple. These are all fraudulent. I did not grant permission to any of these institutions to apply for checking and or savings accounts or any other product for that matter. My wallet was stolen and my identity was used fraudulently.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a consumer report from Chexsystems. On that report I discovered that there were negative, fraudulent, unauthorized accounts opened in my name listed on the report. So I immediately went to local law enforcement to file a police report. After doing some research as to the steps I had to take in order to get the inaccurate information off of my report, I proceeded to dispute the info with chexsystems. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent them them the police report, an identity theft affidavit from the Federal Trade Commission, a letter stating that I am a victim of identity theft and a copy of my government issued ID. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from chexsystems stating that they had verified the information that was on my consumer report because they sent me a copy of a forged signature card. And If I wanted to pursue the matter further that I should send them a copy of police report, ( which I already did ), and inform the original furnisher of information to dispute directly with them, ( which I already did ).
