Debt is not mine
Complaint: I called this company regarding this account that I am unaware of. I am not sure what XXXX is. At that time I was advised that a copy of the lease would be mailed out however it never was. I then sent a certified letter to this asking them to provide me a copy of the lease agreement to date I have not received a response. I contacted them today and spoke to a rep who acknowledged that they received the request and I just have to wait until the original company provides the lease. She was very rude. I informed her that the 30 day time period has pass and asked for a tentative date. She refused to provide any information.

Attempted to collect wrong amount
Complaint: TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I RECEIVED A LETTER IN XX/XX/XXXX FROM THIS COMPANY STATING THAT FOR A REDUCED SUM OF {$690.00} THEY WOULD AGREE TO ACCEPT THIS AMOUNT AS PAYMENT IN FULL FOR THE ACCOUNT BALANCE FOR A COLLECTION ACCOUNT AMOUNT FOR XXXX. I CALLED THE COMPANY IN XXXX AND SPOKE WITH A REPRESENTATIVE AND ADVISED HIM THAT I WOULD LIKE TO GO AHEAD AND ACCEPT THE OFFER AS PRESENTED, TO RESOLVE THE COMPLETE ACCOUNT BALANCE FOR THE SUM OF {$690.00} AS AGREED UPON TO SETTLE THE DEBT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE COMPLETED A RECORDING OF THE TRANSACTION AND WE AGREED TO PAYMENT TERMS OF THE {$690.00} AS FOLLOWS : {$50.00} ON THAT DATE AT THE TIME OF THE CALL PAID BY DEBIT CARD, {$320.00} TO BE PAID FROM MY DEBIT CARD ON XX/XX/XXXX AND FINAL PAYMENT TO PROCESS FROM MY DEBIT CARD FOR {$320.00} ON XX/XX/XXXX. THE PAYMENT FOR {$320.00} WAS PAID DIRECT ON THE DEBIT CARD AND PAYMENT PROCESSED TO THIS COMPANY SUCCESSFULLY. THE COMPANY NEVER COMPLETED THE FINAL TRANSACTION TO PROCESS THE PAYMENT AS AGREED ON RECORDING, FOR THE FINAL PAYMENT ON XX/XX/XXXX FOR {$320.00}. WHEN I CONTACTED THIS COMPANY TO FIND OUT WHY THE XXXX MAJOR CREDIT BUREAUS ARE REPORTING FROM THEIR COMPANY INACCURATE INFORMATION, THAT A BALANCE IS STILL OWED FOR THIS ACCOUNT WITH A BALANCE OF {$1000.00}, I WAS TOLD THY RECEIVED A LETTER PRESUMABLY FROM ME ADVISING THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO PAY THE DEBT AND THEREFORE THEY CANCELLED THE FINAL PAYMENT SCHEDULED TO COMPLETE ON XX/XX/XXXX. I PERSONALLY NEVER SENT A LETTER TO THIS COMPANY ADVISING THEM THAT I WOULD NOT HONOR THE PAYMENT AS SCHEDULED TO COMPLETE ON XX/XX/XXXX. I NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL OR VOICE MAIL MESSAGE REQUESTING I CONTACT THEM TO DISCUSS THE LETTER THEY RECEIVED FROM SOMEONE AND TO CONFIRM THAT I WAS REFUSING, AFTER INTIALLY AGREEING BY PHONE RECORDING ON A PREVIOUS OCCASSION TO PAY THE DEBT. THIS ERROR BY THIS COMPANY IN NOT PROCESSING THE LAST PAYMENT WHICH THEREBY WOULD HAVE CLEARED THE DEBT I CNT FIND A APARTMENT TO LIVE. THE Fair Credit Reporting Act states that while this item is being investigated you must indicate to the bureau that the account is under dispute and will remove/cease from reporting this information to the Credit Reporting Agency until full validation has been completed. THYEY CONTINUED TO REPORT THE DEBT TO THE BREAUS ALTHOUGH THEY STATED THEY RECEIVED A LETTER FROM SOMEONE STATING THEY WERE DISPUTING THE DEBT. THE COMPANY FAILED W/IN THIRTY DAYS TO PROVIDE ME WITH VERIFICATION OF THE DEBT AND TO ADVISE THEY WERE CANCELLING THE AGREEMENT IN PLACE TO RESOLVE THE DEBT UNTIL THE VERIFCATION PROCESS WAS COMPLETE. IF THEY BELIEVED A LETTER WAS FROM ME, THEY STILL SHOULD HAVE SENT A UPDATED BILL FOR THE BALANCE OF THE ACCOUNT AFTER THE PREVIOUS PAYMENTS CLEARED AND ALSO VALIDATION OF THE DEBT WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THE LETTER THEY CLAIM I SENT. I ASKED THE REP TO SEND ME A COPY OF THE LETTER ; I ALSO ASKED IF THE LETTER THEY RECEIVED HAD MY SIGNATURE HE DECLINED TO ANSWER. I WAS TOLD BY THE REP HE WOULD ONLY READ THE LETTER TO ME AND REFUSED TO PROVIDE ME WITH A COPY OF THE LETTER.

Complaint: I was a resident at The XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX. All rents were paid on time. I submitted my intent to vacate by certified USPS letter and my apartment was surrendered back to the care of management in the same shape it was when I commenced my tenancy. Despite this, management reported an {$86.00} debt to all credit bureaus. The XXXX XXXX management has thus far failed to produce any evidence supporting their claim. I sought the help of the MS Attorney General Office to resolve this, although The XXXX agreed to remove debt from credit report they have yet to do so. Debt collection: I do not know

Called after sent written cease of comm
Complaint: On XX/XX/2017, I sent a dispute for investigations to the credit bureaus regarding an alleged debt that was mysteriously added on my credit reports without ever receiving a dunning letter. I then received a response from the credit reporting agencies the debt is accurate and if I had additional questins/concerns to contact Fair Collections & Outsourcings at their address : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2017, I proceed to send Fair Collections & Outsourcings a letter requesting validation of the alleged debt they are reporting on my credit reports. On XX/XX/2017, I received a " settlement '' letter and a generic lease from them, both dated XX/XX/2017. On XX/XX/2017, I filed a complaint with CFPB, and received a response from Fair Collections & Outsourcings on XX/XX/2017 stating that they do not own the debt and that the original creditor does. On XX/XX/2017 at XXXX, I contacted the alleged original creditor that they are reporting as XXXX at XXXX, I googled the company. I spoke to XXXX who stated that she did not have an employee number. XXXX stated that she did not have any information with my name and last XXXX of my social which I provided to her. She then provided me with the number XXXX stating to contact the number which is for " former resident of XXXX ''. On XX/XX/2017 at XXXX, I called the number XXXX, a recording came on stated that : " due to high call volumes, they recommend to email them or leave a message ''. I then proceeded to leave a message saying that the message is for XXXX and to contact me. On XX/XX/2017 at XXXX, I received a call from XXXX and the representative stated that her name is XXXX XXXX from Fair Collections & Outsourcings and it is an attempted to collect a debt and returning my call, and continued to ask how would i like to make a payment? I informed her that I did not request for them to call me so I am unaware on where she would get the idea to contact me when I specifically sent a certified letter to them on XX/XX/2017 stating to not contact me via telephone and to mail me out the validation of this alleged debt. I also requested that she send me legal documents showing that she and her company are indeed authorized to collect on this alleged debt that they have not been able to validate and stated that they do not own. She got agitated and raised her voice stating that she does not have to provide me with any documents that shows that she is authorized to collect on this uncollectable debt. In their response letter to my previous complaint, they stated that they did not respond to my validation letter because the account was " verified '' and I am in the mistaken belief that they own the debt. Their exact wording was : " As the account had been previously been verified and the consumer requested no further contact, a response was not made to the XX/XX/2017 letter. ''

Debt is not mine
Complaint: I rented an apartment with my now ex. We finished our first lease and renewed the lease for a second year. We started having problems in our relationship and I moved out XX/XX/XXXX, the lease ended in XX/XX/XXXX. The lease was paid in full. My ex decided to stay in the apartment. I never resigned a lease and from my knowledge they allowed him to stay in the apartment and extend the lease without my signature for a new lease. I had told them that I no longer live there and do not want my name on the lease anymore as the original lease had ended. The lady in the office said I ca n't take your name off of the lease because XXXX does n't make enough income to pay for the apartment. I fought with her telling her that my lease ended and I no longer live there. So she knew that he could n't afford the apartment and still let him live there. He ended up defaulting on the lease in XX/XX/XXXX. Almost a year after I had moved out. There was also damages to the apartment that are charged in addition to all the late fees and court costs. I have a letter from XXXX himself stating that he is solely responsible for the lease and apartment. Also the bill that the apartment complex sent out was ONLY billed to him. I have been fighting with the collection agency letting them know that I was not a resident after my lease contract was completed and paid in full for the duration of the lease. I never renewed or resigned anything after the lease ended in XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: I lived at the XXXX run by XXXX who happens to have tons of complaints for fraud. I am a civil rights activist, so I found out the XXXX female managers were guilty of XXXX because they were inflating water bills. They created a formula for XXXX apartments which was illegal. They billed you for water, according to the amount of people living in your apartment. For me it was, XXXX adult with XXXX kids. In writing they assured me my water bill would be {$40.00} per month. My neighbors had XXXX adults and XXXX kids paying {$50.00} per month. I received outrageous bills for {$120.00} per month. I complained to the XXXX. State Attorney General, the Town of Farmington and then went to many apartments and found out women and minorities were billed higher than white residents. I decided to move and the neighbor next door got angry and started harassing my children, XXXX child threatened to choke and XXXX my XXXX year old son. XXXX and XXXX incited a feud with white trash, so I was forced to move. Police reports were filed. The XXXX passive aggressive managers fabricated a bill after I moved. We videotaped and took pictures after cleaning. We ended up in Court because the XXXX managers wanted to create an incident. In Court, I testified I paid my rent on time the entire time we lived there and told the Judge the reason they retaliated was because of my discrimination complaints. The company who billed me for water said, XXXX told them I had XXXX people living in my apartment and this is why my bill was so high. He said she gave them all the numbers inflating the water bills. We found tons of complaints supporting their fraud and malfeasance. They have refused to validate the DEBT. I would like this removed. We are using social media and XXXX to ensure the Public is aware of their malfeasant behavior. The maintenance man XXXX said, the culture at XXXX is ruthless. They have meetings were they encourage managers to look for new ways to bill residents for anything they can think of. The turn around of tenants according to the Town Manager is he highest in XXXX, CT. Please investigate this company and remove this fraud off all my credit reports. Thank you and best regards. XXXX
