Debt was result of identity theft
Complaint: XXXX XXXX sent me to collections in XXXX 2017 over a debt due to ID theft. I have since had that collections account and all credit issues resolved through my own efforts, but on XXXX XXXX, 2017 I sent XXXX an email and hard copy letter with a " Request for Records Pursuant to Section 609 ( e ) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act '' in order to receive any and all documents related to my case, in hopes of figuring out who stole my identity and how they did so. XXXX XXXX of XXXX fully acknowledged receipt of this notice and numerous occasions ( including in writing ). Since that date, no one at XXXX has contacted me or given me any indication they plan to comply with the law and providing me the documents as required by law. It has been over 30 days and XXXX is in violation so I am now filing a full compliant. The debt collections company they sent the debt to was " Fair Collections & Outsourcing '' but they are not the company in violation or the company I am filing the complaint about. It is only XXXX XXXX that is in violation and is withholding documents.

Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Complaint: I sent multiple validation/verification letters to this company requesting proof of my signature stating that I indeed owe this debt by contract with this company. I have attempted to make contact by letter on three occasions. I have yet to get any response from this company and it has been 90 days with no communication. I have sent letters to XXXX and to XXXX that in return is stating the account is verified and nothing else, they are neglecting to correctly verify this account is truly mine. I do know according to FCRA that I should be receiving proof that I did create this debt. I never received anything from this company or any company for that matter regarding this debt. I checked my credit and that is the only reason I know of this debt.

Complaint: I moved from an apartment complex at which I had lived for about 15 years. I gave the complex more than 30 days notice. They contend that I needed to give them 60 days notice but could not produce an updated signed lease that stated that a 60 day notice was required. The complex says I owe more than 30 days rent, even though I have the required 30 days notice and the apartment was rented soon after I departed. The complex then sent the file to a collections agency called FCO ( www.fco.com ). I have asked FCO to send me validation/verification of the debt. A couple of times they sent me something illegible ; another time they sent me a lease that I had not signed. <P/>The have reported the collection account to my credit report and it is affecting my credit and lowering my score.

It is stating that the account was opened on X/XX/12 and that is untrue, nor does this company have an active license to collect any debts in the state of Washington. This is an illegal practice and I would appreciate if it was deleted from all major credit bureaus immediately. I have called this company on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and they would not listen or try to resolve
