Complaint: Our homeowner 's insurance has not received their payment and it is overdue. Our mortgage servicer has not provided proof of cashed check. To avoid cancellation of our insurance we went ahead and paid our insurance. Insurance and taxes are escrowed so this should n't have happened.

Complaint: We recently changed banks so I am in the process of updating any accounts that we have set up to auto-pay to use our new account as the payment method. I am having some serious issues with our mortgage service provider, Dovenmuehle. I went onto the website to change out payment account. They do n't even offer an option to change, only to enroll or cancel. So I cancelled our current auto-pay and tried to re-enroll. This was 2 weeks ago. It gave me a message stating " Currently, there is a pending transaction in process.
Changes may take place the following business day after XXXX CST. '' I checked back the following day and got the same message. I tried for 2-3 more days, getting the same message each and every day. So I called Dovenmuehle and asked them what was going on. They said they had to put in a help desk ticket, which is insane because all I want to do is change the account that I used to pay my mortgage. I ca n't imagine that every single time that Dovenmuehle has a customer wanting to change payment accounts that they have to put in a service ticket.
Regardless, they told me I would hear back in 24-48 hours. It 's been over 3 days with no response from them, and still the same message on their website. So I just called back and wasted another XXXX minutes on the phone to be given the same run-around that they were working on it.
I do n't think it is fair to have someone servicing mortgages that is not even competent enough to have a functioning website to accept payments. How can I make a payment to them when I ( 1 ) can not add a payment account and ( 2 ) can not get anyone there to do it for me?

Complaint: To login to Dovenmuehle bank in order to pay my mortgage I put in my registration information.They required new registration in XXXX XXXX XXXX 2015 I re-registered.XXXX when I went to login their system said I need to register.When I try to register the system says I already have an account and am registered.I was locked out and could not pay.I called and spoke to XXXX and she said to speak to their Web support { XXXX 2015 } .The Web support representative could not help me.I sent them e-mails and finally had to pay by using XXXX for an additional {$9.00} on XXXX XXXX 2015.Here it is XXXX XXXX and i am still locked out!! I will call again tomorrow to try to pay but I do n't feel I should have to pay extra to XXXX XXXX just because they ca n't help fix the problem.Any Help what be much appreciated. XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: FIRST YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT I AM XXXX FOR LIFE, XXXX with all the extra doctor bills, I fell behind on mtg pmt and applied for loss mitigation with Dovenmuehle mtg to have them help me in modifying the terms/pmt amt/interest rate or how ever they can help. THE FIRST PACKET WAS CLOSED because of the required info requested was not received. When indeed I sent the INFORMATION REQUESTED upteen times and I have all the saved sent emails w/attachments ( unfortunately, I cant attach emails ). It got so BAD that I got XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to assist with the paperwork because I sent everything in. They agreed and I filled out there packet and they refused to look at it and closed the case for help. Consequently, XXXX put a ESCALATED FILE STRAIGHT TO XXXX. So they reopened a new file after being contacted by XXXX ON XXXX I received that letter and I had NO FURTHER CONTACT FROM THEM ( letter recieved states THEY WILL INFORM ME IF COMPLETE/INCOMPLETE ), UNTIL I CALLED THEM ON XXXX see whats going on because I WAS BEING HARASSED BY SERVICER FOR PAYMENT EVERY 2-4 DAYs, which started even before pmt grace period over, because after 30 days of no info, this case would have been closed. I am ALSO FILING A COMPLAINT AGAINST the servicer of Arizona XXXX XXXX. for HARASSMENT FOR THEIR IMPROPER COLLECTION PRACTICES. The loss mit dept then told me they are missing information which I emailed to them. THEY STILL REFUSE TO DEAL WITH XXXX AT XXXX LIKE INSTRUCTED, her phone is XXXX. I even emailed a stern letter to Dovenmuehle Mtg loss mit dept asking what they are doing with all my emails and attachments. I have them all saved, luckily.
IT BASICALLY LOOKS LIKE THEY WANT THE HOUSE/LAND BECAUSE I OWE $ XXXXAND IS WORTH {$110000.00}. THERE IS NO WAY FOR THEM TO LOOSE.
My printer is broken, so I have to send backup paperwork thru a email address as an attachment.

Complaint: We are writing to you because we were encouraged to do so by a credit consultant even though our complaint involves incidences that happened about 2 years ago.
On XX/XX/XXXX we were granted a Special Provisions Agreement by Dovenmuehle Mortgage through their Loss Mitigation Program due to a medical hardship. In light of that we were mindful about making our payments on time. At the end of XXXX we mailed our XXXX 's mortgage payment, however it was n't until later in XXXX that we discovered that the Post Office made an error and mis-sent it and the mortgage company never received it. I followed up with Dovenmuehle, explained what happened, and resent payment ; however, someone dropped the ball. This caused a ripple effect because XXXX and XXXX 's payments were sent back to us with a letter stating to call the attorney 's office to re-instate the account.
Also we later found out ( XXXX ) that Dovenmuehle had no record of our XX/XX/XXXX payment either. Through research we discovered it had been fraudulently cashed ( XXXX ) this added another delinquent payment to our account. However, when I talked the mortgage company in late XXXX, they knew then about XXXX 's payment and nothing was brought to our attention. Again someone dropped the ball.
Over next 12 months, we provided explanation, documentation and clarification to Dovenmuehle to no avail. We resubmitted our hardships a couple of times and made appeals to the Loss Mitigation Department and we were getting nowhere. For a full year, things grew worse because we were getting the run around. Every month for a year it was something ; XX/XX/XXXX : Granted FHA type XXXX Special Provision Agreement for XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX ; later XXXX : No record of payment by Dovenmuehle but we were n't notified ; payment was fraudulently cashed - shows delinquent on XXXX : XXXX 's payment mis-sent by Post Office - shows delinquent on XXXX : XXXX and XXXX 's payment returned. Instructed to call attorney 's office to reinstate ; they in turn told us to call Dovenmuehle. Told to re-apply for the Loss Mitigation Program by resubmitting our hardship.
XX/XX/XXXX : Sent more documents upon request : income statements, bank statements and letter of explanation of deposits.
XX/XX/XXXX : Hardship was denied, yet it was requested to send a copy of XXXX payment. We appealed and sent receipts that all mortgage payments had been made on XXXX : Front/back copies of XXXX and XXXX payments were sent as XXXX : Instructed to resubmit the Loss Mitigation XXXX : Resubmitted packet to Loss Mitigation again. Inquired of XXXX XXXX to get their assistance and sent information to XXXX XXXX as well. Resubmitted our hardship ( again ) along with requested documents.
XXXX : With the assistance from XXXX, Dovenmuehle finally reached out us to do a loan modification after a FHA Trial Payment Plan / Forbearance XXXX : Started trial payment plan through XXXX. XXXX : Signed papers for the loan modification along with a subordinate note/mortgage, which we were forced to sign because if we did n't foreclosure procedures would continuePrior to XX/XX/XXXX, we had a good record of making our payments on time. As a result of situations out of our control by the post office and Dovenmuehle, we were facing foreclosure, our credit negatively impacted ( our credit report reflects a foreclosure ), and we have a XXXX mortgage we were forced into. Had Dovenmuehle handled things accurately/professionally we could have been offered a Trial Payment Plan much sooner than a year later.
We are soliciting your help to do investigate our situation. Our account was mishandled. The foreclosure should be taken off our credit and we should n't have a XXXX mortgage.

Complaint: Our mortgage company bundled our sewer tax into other bills paid out of our escrow for several years. Then suddenly the sewer tax stopped being paid. We called and Dovenmuehle told us that this was an error and that they would submit the payment. This happened two years in a row, then last year they told us that they did not pay sewer tax and apparently had never paid the past due sewer tax. While we tried to figure this out, the city put a lien on our house and charged us late fees and interest. I spent a few weeks working with people at XXXX XXXX ( the company that holds our mortgage and sold the servicing to Dovenmuehle XXXX in XXXX of 2015 to get it figured out. Finally I was told that the past due amounts and additional interest had been paid. We got a new sewer tax bill in XXXX and apparently the money that we had been paying toward the actual bill had been put toward the fees Dovenmuehle was supposed to pay, and now we were late on the current bill. We also saw that there were XXXX charges for " hospital tax '' billed on one day from our escrow. I called XXXX XXXX again and was told that those payments were toward the late fees which XXXX was supposed to pay - so they took our money out of escrow to apply toward bills they had promised they would pay and called it something else .... I do n't know if they were trying to cover up that they were taking our money to pay for their mistake or what. But to this date, the issue that has been going on for years has STILL not been corrected, even though XXXX XXXX repeatedly assured me in XXXX that I did not need to worry about it, it was all taken care of.

Complaint: Miss appropriated payments : We have a mortgage on our house in Utah that we got through XXXX XXXX credit union. It is being processed by Dovenmuehle out of Illinois.
We have been trying to pay down our loan by paying an interest only payment about every other month. Numerous times the payment is not posted to principal even though we have done what both institutions ask us to do by writing on check and marking payment boxes online that state clearly that the extra payment is for principal only. ( Our monthly payment is always a timely auto deduct / draft and has never been late. ) Our last payment of {$8000.00} was once again applied wrong. A portion went to principal, interest and escrow. Our home balance at that time after posting it their way was {$80000.00}. After correcting their mistake and posting the {$8000.00} toward principal only, our new balance was {$79000.00}. A difference of {$620.00} ( deduct the reversal of escrow account ) we still were behind {$310.00} their way.
We have been told that our account has been marked special and we would never see the problem again. That was XXXX problems ago..
It 's amazing to me that our account : " XXXX '' have been marked special when they ( Dovenmuehle ) process over a million home loans a year. It begs the question : How many Americans are being fleeced by this action ( non-action ).
Can we sue them for this or even instigate a class action suit? There should be some regulation to insure principal payments are just that and protect people like us, who nearing retirement age, need to pay off their homes as effectively as we can.
Please let us know what can be done. We have documentation and tape recordings of conversations with both institutions.
P.s. ..XXXX, now 5 months later and again they have miss appropriated our funds. XXXX payments XXXX {$10000.00} and the other {$7000.00}. They both got divided up with interest and they did n't accept the auto draft for the two months payments. Help!!!

Complaint: As part of an buildings insurance claim I received a check from my insurers made payable to myself and my mortgage servicer ( Dovenmuehle Mortgage of XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, IL ) for {$25000.00}. I endorsed and forwarded this to my mortgage company as instructed by overnight fedex on XXXX/XXXX/15. I then had an inspection of my property completed which showed the work was XXXX % completed. I was then told I would receive my money, which did not ahppen.. Still no check was forthcoming so I called and was told I would now need another inspection which was completed and I was then told my contractor must sign a lein waver which he did. Then they sent me my {$25000.00} in form of a check made out to myself and my contractor. No bank would accept the check and I asked them to re issue the check in just my name as they had an inspection showing the work was completed and they had a lien waver from the contractor so they knew he would not place a lien impacting their colateral. I was then told I needed to provide a letter from the contractor saying the bill was paid in full and he was not owed any more money. I then provided this to the mortgage company who said I need to return the original check to them before they would reissue the check, I asked them to just stop the original check, they refused as it would cost them money. I sent the check overnight by fedex and they received it on XXXX/XXXX/15. Here we are on XXXX/XXXX/15 and still nothing has been received. My belief is that this is a delaying tactic to hold onto funds as long as possible to maintain liquidity and earn interest at the borrowers expense. Luckily this was not a claim at my principal residense, and that I had the funds to get the work done or I shuidder to think what would have happened.

Complaint: We sold our house on XXXX XXXX, 2015. Escrow check never came. Called end of XXXX. Said they did not have address. Checks do not get forwarded. Sent letter with new address ( By the way though XXXX they should have all our information ). Still do n't receive check by XXXX XXXX. Call again. Will send 2 day mail after I complain. Send 2 day mail to old address! Get check and call to make sure I can cash. Dovenmuehle says yes. Cash check in XXXX account. Receive another newer check from mortgage company. XXXX gets returned notice check and charges account. Call Dovenmuehle and explain situation. Also ask for escrow accounting. Never give me {$5.00} service charge back for returned check. Do n't provide escrow accounting. Not the money but the principle of matter. They sat on over {$3000.00} of escrow funds and never attempted to get in touch with us. We have all our banking and insurance through XXXX. Totally disappointed with everyone I dealt with.

Complaint: I have been trying to get my mortgage caught up with XXXX 's debt collection company for over two months, Dovenmuhle Mortgage Inc. Every time I speak with different people, I am told different things, I sent letters and no calls returned.I sent a modification package. Nothing done. I received a letter from attorney two weeks ago. I was told by law firm they ca n't give me information. Call Dovenmuehle and they wo n't give me info until I submit letter to reinstate, which I mailed on XX/XX/XXXX and submited by fax. Now I receive a letter from an attorney that they are foreclosing on my property even though I have tried to work with them to catch up my mortgage.Now I am having to do a Notice to Cure with XXXX County. XXXX/Dovenmuehle received my check and letter but not deny getting anything else from me!
