Complaint: I feel behind on my mortgage payment due to medical issues, I am a disabeled XXXX war vet and tried to pay and catch up and tried to make arrangements, they told me i was already in forclosure and sent me a check in the amount of {$1000.00} check is dated XX/XX/2017 check number is XXXX and refused to take any of my payments any more, i tried to set up an automatic draft from my checking account and they refused that unless i was to pay amount in full. I recieved a notice in the mail stateing they are filling for chapter XXXX bankruptcy and a statemeant, i called them and asked for a pay off of my loan, they would not give it to me, then they told me i would have to call an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX XXXX NM XXXX XXXX XXXX i called them and they stated that they where getting several calls and that ditech was not there client. i called back and spoke to diffrent rep, and asked for pay off and they said they could not give it to me and it would take 15 days, i called today and requested a pay off amount again and they refused to give it to me, i asked to speak to a manger they kept me on hold and finally tranfred me to ext XXXX i asked for a pay off and they refused to give it to me, i then asked who is your regulator they said they didnt know what that is, then they tell me CFPB, i asked for number and they told me to XXXX it, i then told them i have no internet, and they asked me what that stood for, so i replied to your spell the meaning out and they would not respond, nor give me the number at all. then they put me on hold and told me to call XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX. and said call XXXX XXXX XXXX and hung up. I called the number and it is a law firm dont know name but is in XXXX nm, i said i like to offer XXXX to pay off ditech of my note and be done with them and them with me, to be paid XX/XX/XXXX i am tired of the run around and refusual, at the time of speaking with them i didnt remember the check that they returned, so i like to minus my offer from XXXX to XXXX to pay off my mortgage and get title to my home to be paid XX/XX/XXXX. They refuse payment, charge intreast, and still have my money of XXXX and i sure they earned intrest and if i charged them intreast daily on that they would reduce the amount owed to them by that. they give people the run around and drag things on and rude, legal way of stealing from people, and cause people stress, companys like this shouldnt be allowed.

Complaint: Ditech was contacted in XX/XX/XXXX after trying to collect on a paid mortgage. My home sold on XX/XX/XXXX. Spoke with XXXX who said they lost the check but did show the home was sold. She would track down the check. Contacted XXXX attorney The XXXX XXXX XXXX who represented them in their erroneous foreclosure filing to see if they could help since they know the foreclosure never happened. Exchanged emails with XXXX XXXX. Never got anywhere. I have now called Ditech 2 times holding over 30 minutes without anyone answering. I am on hold again now. My credit report still shows the mortgage due and $ XXXX in arrears. A title search of the property will show it paid and the condo no longer owned my me.

Complaint: 1. I have a mortgage with ditech 2. Ditech is charging me more than is required to pay the loan. 3. Ditech is charging me more than {$37.00} in excess of the proper monthly payment. 4. I paid Ditech {$1000.00} with instructions to apply to my escrow account. Ditech has categorically refused to apply this funds to escrow account. 5. Starting XX/XX/2018 Ditech again increased my monthly payment to another {$70.00} per month without any reason. 6. Ditech is charging interest on actuarial basis without my approval and prior agreement.

Complaint: Over the last 4 months our electronic auto draft for our VA home loan was canceled. This put us behind two months, we did not find this information out until we received a paper letter at a family members home ( XX/XX/2019 ). The amount was drafted every month, there was no change in banking information or accounts. Upon our payment we were hit very hard on our credit score. We tried to talk to the company about the reporting after the completion of the payment in full. Is there any way to assist or can anything be done about the reporting.

Complaint: I sent a check from my insurance company to Ditech for the damage to my home because of a fire on XX/XX/18. I was told these {$220000.00} plus funds would be held in an escrow account until they are needed for construction. Im having an issue with DiTech releasing my insurance funds so that construction can begin. The first claim I submitted for the demo of my burned home took 1 month to receive, now Ive submitted for the first payment to the contractor to begin the build in the amount of {$40000.00} and its been 19 days and still nothing. Ive called several times and was put on hold for 45 minutes at a time and never getting anyone to answer the phone. When I finally found a different phone number for DiTech I got someone to answer but he didnt help me at all, only to put me on hold several times and then he asked about inspections and then the final comment that topped it for me was wherein he started saying something about the investors What investors, you have my insurance funds and they need to start being released I said. I need help with receiving these funds as my insurance company has a cut off date and then they will close my claim. If I can't get DiTech to release my funds how can I move forward with construction.

Complaint: I received notice from the United States Bankruptcy court of New York on the face that Ditech XXXX XXXX filed for Chapter XXXX bankruptcy. I have seen on the document that Ditech sent me that the balance of my mortgage is XXXX. I have also noticed that the interest rate that I am being charged is 4.75 % ( which is above the market rate ) and the term is 30 years. I have a concern that after making 3 payments that the actual trial payment for the last 2 months was a total of XXXX per month. After reviewing my records I found that my original payment for the last 7 years was XXXX per month. Based on the payment they have given me I am now XXXX over my old payment. This is not what the modification regulations state, it was supposed to get me an affordable plan and lower then what my old payment had been. Ditech has received XXXX as a partial claim on my FHA mortgage insurance and yet they have made my payment higher then the old payment. I have enclosed an amortized plan using 4.25 % which is closer to today 's current market rate of 4.00 %, I also extended the term from 30 to 40 years which can be allowed as per modification regulations, this reduces my payment by XXXX per month and puts my modification on a permanent basis below my old payment, this is what a modification is supposed to do. When I contacted the Bankruptcy Court in New York and told them about my modification, the fact that you Ditech has received a large sum of the mortgage from FHA ( XXXX ) and that they increased my payment instead of reducing it I was told to send this letter requesting a reduction and to fill out their bankruptcy claim form and include a copy of this letter.I was also told that if my payment was not reduced, i was to activate this claim and send a notice to the United States Bankruptcy Court XXXX District of New York.

They needed my authorization for the approval which i did several times and never received the approval documents how they had explained to me. Later on i come to find out i was denied but was never notified. They have me back and forth but i am XXXX and still making my {$260.00} payment as they had mentioned to me at first. Complaint: My Mortgage was transferred to the Ditech Mortgage Company some years ago. I have never been late on my Mortgage Payment with this company or the previous Mortgage Company, I applied and received a HAMP Mortgage Program. On XX/XX/2018 I received letter from Ditech asking me to fill out the Dodd-Frank Certification Form ( Form 720 ) which my wife and I filled out, signed and sent by certified mail to Ditech Financial LLC, Attn Loss Mitigation Admin XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX, AZ XXXX and for good measure we also faxed the forms to them. The Forms said that Ditech would apply a one time pay for performance principle balance reduction payment in the amount of {$5000.00} which would reduce the principal. We have not received this reduction. I know that Ditech has recently applied for Chapter XXXX but that should not effect the Dodd-Frank Bill. I am XXXX years old and need help on this matter. THERE ARE OTHER ISSUES -- THE AMOUNTS ARE WRONG THE DATES ARE WRONG THE TOTAL IS WRONG I HAVE NOT RECEIVED STATEMENTS YET I SEE THE BALANCE KEEPS GETTING FEES. WITH REGARD TO WHAT THESE CHARGES ARE I HAD A SETTEMENT WITH DITECH AND IT IS NOT BEING HONORED. Complaint: I have on multiple occasions called and spoke with the CSRs as Ditech Financial regarding my extra payments to go to principle only. I have included the memo on the checks and have asked them to add it to the account. I sent in 2 checks this month XX/XX/19 for XXXX and on XXXX for XXXX. Instead of applying the extra towards principle as requested they applied it to the escrow account and next months payment instead. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of getting a mortgage from Ditech to think again, they are by far the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I continually get letters from them saying they are looking into an issue I messaged them about 2 months ago over the same issue. I will for the 4th time call them and ask them to put the funds in the proper account.
