Complaint: hello, My name is XXXX XXXX. my wife and I have a mortgage with Caliber homes inc. back in XXXX under there advise started a modification with there company and since the our back payment of XXXX has turned into XXXX. partly because they took forever to yield any results. when we started this process it was to see if we could put what we owe to the back end of the loan and start fresh. My wife has a XXXX and because i used up all paid sick days to take care of her and our XXXX children. my Job was understanding about my situation i didnt lose my job but days with paid were only so many days and we went over the amount. there are few months were we were short in the paycheck. so in XXXX we tried to make good her medication was under control and she was back on track which means i was back on track but that was not concerned them since XX/XX/XXXX all we did was increase the bill to the point where its out of control and now we are in forclosure with no sale date. if feel lied to and i was mislead. i want action

Complaint: This my second complaint concerning Caliber Home Loans. Hopefully this complaint is premature, but I am sending it anyway. Briefly, I submitted a Loan Modification Application in XXXX, XXXX. Due to delayed written correspondence, the need to repeatedly re-submit previous documentation or submit updated/new documentation, and conflicting instructions and info, I had to file a new loan modification application on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, reciept of which which was verified by XXXX # XXXX. He indicated I would have a decision on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. My last conversation with Caliber occurred on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, when I spoke to XXXX, # XXXX. She indicated that no more documents were necessary and that I would have a decision on my new application on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. At to time has anyone indicated that the decision date of XXXX XXXX, XXXX was tentative. Today I call Caliber at approximately XXXX and spoke to XXXX XXXX? XXXX # XXXX, who advised that the application was still " in process '' and that there might be a decision today or a " it might take a little longer ''. I asked how much longer and he did not know. He said that that my application was received on XXXX XXXX, and that it usually takes XXXX weeks for a decision. I explained that no, I had been informed that my package was received on XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( it was submitted via email and I have a verification of receipt ). XXXX said he did not see that noted on my file, and offered no explanation of the discrepancy. He also stated that a decision might take longer because we are in bankruptcy. No one has indicated this to me in the past. We have lived here since XXXX, and want to continue to do so. It is our HOME. But due to my husband XXXX, our income has been reduced drastically for the last XXXX4 years and it is very difficult to make our mortgage payments in a timely manner. We filed Chapt. XXXX bankruptcy, trying to keep our home. We desperately need help, and thus my applying for a mortgage modification. My experience with Caliber has been the most frustrating experience in my life. Applicants can not speak to the underwriters directly. All information must be obtain through a Single Point of Contact ( SPOC ) person, who changes from call to call. Information is provided by them, then changes with no explanation, just excuses, if the discrepancy/change is even acknowledged by the SPOC. Correspondence from Caliber is still taking XXXXXXXX days from the date of the correspondence to the date it is received. I have diligently tried to correctly, and in a timely manner, do as Caliber has asked. In exchange, I have been given at the very least, misleading information time after time, and Caliber has not done as they said they would do. Due to our bankruptcy, foreclosure is not imminent, but once the bankruptcy is discharged, it is a very good possibility, if Caliber is unwilling to approve my application for modification. Complaint: We refianced our home mortgage in 2015, and the loan was sold Caliber Home Loans in XXXX, TX ( XXXX # XXXX ) for servicing. in XXXX, Caliber informed us there was insufficient money in our Escrow account to keep the monthly payment the same, and listed the new payment amount. They also included a smaller monthly payment amount if we sent them approx. {$300.00}. We wanted to keep the payments for our loan from increasing, so we sent the {$300.00} amount, PLUS the difference of the monthly increase XXXX. They returned the difference. I sent another check for them to keep our monthly loan payments the same, and they AGAIN returned the money, saying, by law, they had to return anything more than {$50.00} that was required by Escrow calculations. I explained that I did n't want them to add it to Escrow, but to keep the payments as they had been in 2015. They said they are unable to keep the payments fixed, even though I twice sent them monies which would do that very thing.

Complaint: I have had an escrow account with Caliber Home loans and I am disputing the amount. According to the XXXX treasurer office, since my BK 11 confirmation date the servicer had only paid a total of {$8500.00}. My payment for principal and interest if {$790.00}. I made a payment of {$1200.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, which {$400.00} went to past escrow,, I made a payment of {$1200.00} on XX/XX/XXXX which {$400.00} went to past escrow,, Another payment of {$1500.00} was made on XX/XX/XXXX, {$700.00} went to escrow and another payment of {$1500.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, {$700.00} also going to past escrow. 4 payments totaling {$2200.00} should be deducted from escrow. Past due escrow {$8500.00} minus {$2200.00} should be {$6300.00}. Caliber sent me a letter stating the following : Please note, as indicated in our XX/XX/XXXX response, the loan was converted back to a non-escrowed loan and the escrow collection is no longer in effect. Since the remaining escrow balance of {$8300.00} was converted to an Ancillary Fee, there is no balance reflecting in your escrow account at this time. Also to note, Caliber received a payment on XX/XX/XXXX which credited {$400.00} towards the Ancillary Fee balance, leaving {$7900.00} as the outstanding Ancillary Fee balance In addition,, I have sent the XXXX payment of {$1200.00} and I paid the XX/XX/XXXX taxes today in the amount of {$400.00}

Complaint: Received a Homestead Exemption and a XXXX Exemption back in XXXX 2016 form the XXXX County Tax Assessor 's Office, but Caliber Home Loans refuses to update my mortgage payment to reflect the decrease in my escrow account. I have called several times and was given conflicting information regarding the process. I was advised by a Caliber supervisor back in XXXX 2016 that the tax changes are automatically updated electronically ; however, today, XXXX XXXX, 2016 I was advised by a customer service rep that the homeowner is responsible for providing the updated paper work. The tax assessor 's office states that it is done automatically, but to the contrary the information has not been updated in my escrow account.

Complaint: I found forged XXXX also other settlement documents I had never seen before. I also had asked for XXXX insurance be placed on the loan and did n't discover it was n't on the loan or any type of protection until I had received copies of some of the documents that are obvious forgeries. I had also had been turned down 11 times for a modification before I was approved. I still do n't know what is missing that could also have been forged. These forged documents have also been notarized by the title company.There are many laws and. Clearly many laws and Federal regulations have been broken. He seen the documents. I just now learned of the XXXX XXXX dollar settlement that my lender or servicer was apart of. The servicers should have contacted me to let me know of this settlement. I called National Mortgage Settlement and they said too late nothing I can do. I am in a huge mess and do n't know if there is anything that I can do.

Complaint: 3 weeks ago requested loan payoff from Caliber Home Loan thru their SPOC representative. Was told I would receive it soon. Still waiting and I have a pending foreclosure that is moving forward. I have a pending sale on the home and can not draft a correct contract as Caliber ( who represents XXXX ) is not sending me the requested 30 day payoff that I asked their SPOC rep XXXX # XXXX to send me. I want to sell my home and avoid foreclosure but they are holding up my request for a loan payoff. They are denying me my right to sell my home!!!!! Why ca n't they provide this payoff?
