Complaint: I had a mortgage from XXXX originally. Then was bought by XXXX XXXX XXXX after getting a modification and then making my payments on time for almost a year in 2012, Then after sending my payments still on time. XXXX XXXX XXXX then the mortgage was then bought by Caliber Home Loans, Again all my payments were made on time. I have documents proofing this. I asked XXXX, XXXX and XXXX and sent the documents that I have from my XXXX XXXX account proving the dates of payments. I received a letter back from XXXX that they would not change the lates on my report from both XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have been working on this for three years to get this straight and my credit report accurate and have no late payments from either XXXX XXXX XXXX or Caliber Home loans since 2012.

Complaint: When i had my credit pulled XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered that Caliber had reported several late payments. When I confronted them, I was told that although I processed the payments in the month they were due, the payment was not posted until the following month, causing the 30 day late. I told the supervisor that at on a call in early XX/XX/XXXXthe representative told me that as long as i processed the payment within the month it was due, it would not be reported late. I spoke with a different agent in XX/XX/XXXX and was told the same information. Now i have 7 instances of a 30 day late payment on my credit and i am unable to secure a mortgage on a new home.

Complaint: I have been working with Caliber regarding a loan modification and have submitted all documents in a timely manner. Since XX/XX/XXXX, I have been submitting all documents on time and within a 3-5 day period to ensure there is no time gap in between. I feel it is completely unfair to now tell me on XX/XX/XXXX that the application can no longer be reviewed because the docs were not received 37 days prior to the sale scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX when on XX/XX/XXXX I was requested to send in documents and sent them in within 3 business days. Why even tell me to send in the documents if they were aware they could not review it? Hence wasting my time when I could be preparing for something else. Now I am worried again about the upcoming foreclosure and do not feel I have been provided with alternatives options to save my home. At this point in time, I do not nor have I ever had a designated point of contact through Caliber nor has anyone reached out to me when I became in default to provide options to save my home. I initiated contact and reached out to an attorney to find out my options and feel my rights are being violated.

Complaint: Good afternoon. I'm writing to you today, with the hopes that you will assist me with the finalization of my permanent loan modification. My trial modification plan was completed, after I made my final payment, XX/XX/XXXX. Caliber Home Loans has NOT completed the final modification and I've spoken to them on XX/XX/XXXX and today, XX/XX/XXXX - each time I've called, I'Ve been told a different story - that they were waiting for escrow analysis, that they were running title and lien, Etc. All of this is supposed to be completed during the final month of my trial modification plan and, as of now, my wife and I are extremely concerned that it will be completed.

Complaint: I have a mortgage with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have been making my payments every month. Then when Hurricane Harvey Hit my city, Caliber told me that they deferred three months of my mortgage payments and put them on the back end because we were effected by the storm. When the time came that they told me to start making my payments they would not take my payment. They told me to wait to hear from them. I kept calling only to find out that they are not keeping their agreement and won't take my payment. It is as if they are trying to set me up and steal my home. Please help me with this critical matter. I have my payment that they told me to make and now they are telling me I need those three months of back payments as well. This is so very wrong

Complaint: I went through an illness, I have separated from my wife, but I was able to keep my children. I am well now and tried numerous times to work out something with Caliber Home loans to save my house. It has been difficult. I have had to file bankruptcy chapter XXXX to stop the sale. I was working on a part time job for many years and now they have decided to hire me full time. I make a good salary now and I am well physically and mentally. My children are all in school and doing well. I am willing to pay a good faith payment and trial payments to get an opportunity to save my house from foreclosure auction on XX/XX/ 2018. I am willing to work with Caliber Home Loans if they will please give ma a chance to prove myself and keep my home I can afford to make the payments and maintain the property. Thank You Very Much!

Complaint: My issue is with Caliber who is servicing my FHA home loan for my house in XXXX XXXX that I occupy with my husband and XXXX children, one of which has major medical problems. We are facing a foreclosure sale date because Caliber has given us the runaround and misled us after a temporary hardship caused us to miss a few payments. Caliber dragged out our review for many months after telling us we fit into guidelines and would be approved and are refusing to accept any payments from us and demand that we pay them $ XXXX in one payment otherwise they will foreclose on our home. We have the financial means to make a mortgage payment and our hardship was temporary. HUD offers several homeowner assistance programs for families in our position, but Caliber is not allowing us access to these programs. We purchased our home with an FHA loan through XXXX about 4 years ago. My husband and I were both gainfully employed at the time of the loan ( I worked in the XXXX field for the last 15 years while my husband has worked XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX for the last 5 years ) and there were no issues with the monthly payment. Problems began when my husband had to go on unemployment for several months due to the horrible weather that year -- -we lost the majority of his paycheck and this coincided with major medical issues for my son who has a severe case of XXXX. We were overwhelmed with medical bills and expensive prescriptions that he needed and this combination led us to default on the loan payments. The loan was assigned to Caliber at the time of the default. Approximately six months later my husband was back to work full time and I was back on my feet and we reached out to the Caliber loss mitigation department to try to get caught up on our loan. We were told after a phone interview that we qualified for a loan modification, and if that would not work then we would be able to get into a repayment plan in a worst case scenario. We sent all of the paperwork in and were told there would be a decision in XX/XX/XXXXthen it was pushed out to XX/XX/XXXX, then XX/XX/XXXX. Paperwork had to be resubmitted, documents were lost or misplaced, then finally in XX/XX/XXXX we were told that we were denied. We did not receive specific information as to exactly WHY we were denied and what inputs were used in the review as well as what programs we were actually reviewed for by Caliber. Instead of resuming making payments, we are getting threatened with foreclosure and believe that there is a sale date coming on XX/XX/XXXX. We believe that Caliber is required to conduct a thorough review of our current and correct financial information in order to attempt to qualify us for modification, partial claim, forbearance plan, restructured loan or some type of repayment plan. If such a review is conducted and we are not approved, then we believe that Caliber is required to disclose to us the inputs that were used when this evaluation took placethe income, the property value, the impound account etc. so that we can verify accuracy. None of this happened and now Caliber is trying to auction off our house. Additionally, Caliber has not even sent out the paperwork for Occupied Conveyance which I am told is also required by HUD. Caliber seems to be trying to pull a fast one and get our home foreclosed on so they can cash in on the government insurance. This is wrong. We wanted to make your office aware of this situation.

Complaint: Im writing to you today hoping you can stop the bank from taking the house Ive called my home for the last 55 years. I had hoped my grandchildren will be able to enjoy it as their parents did before them, and my parents did before me. My troubles started back in XX/XX/2011, when I was diagnosed with XXXX XXXX. This is a XXXX of the XXXX near the back of my XXXX. The condition results in something worse than XXXX that can leave me XXXX XXXX XXXX for two or three weeks at a time. Not able to work, my daughter helped as best she could but it looked like we would need to sell. A I recovered and started being able to make money again, I approached the bank about getting caught up. It was my home, and Id do everything in my power to keep it. I started working with my bank, but at some point during all of this, they sold my mortgage to XXXX. I approached this new bank. Everything seemed to be going great until I went to sign the modification promised me and I noticed the rate was much higher than what I had agreed to, at over 7 %. I continued to pay my bills while trying to fix this, but my mortgage was sold yet again, this time to Caliber. I now tried to work with this bank. I explained my situation to them, as I did to XXXX. But they refused to uphold the agreement I had worked out before because I am XXXX. I turn XXXX this year! I am too young yet for social security but too old to looked at for most jobs.

They said they would notify me. Did not hear from them by phone, mail etc....Received a letter XX/XX/XXXX from an attorney stating that I had to be out of the property in 10 days. Per XXXX XXXX respond thru CFPB they said they notified their foreclosure firm on XX/XX/XXXX to temporarily suspend any additional foreclosure proceedings to allow sufficient time to return complete mitigation application. I did what they ask and now they are kicking me out with out any other notice.

Complaint: My escrow account is in the negative due to Caliber Home Loans paid taxes for my house and another house with the same street name from my escrow account. I called in XX/XX/XXXX and was told it would be fixed. Called a few more times in XX/XX/XXXX and was told it was being fixed.. Well it's XX/XX/XXXX and still no resolve. I received a statement stating my mortgage was going up to XXXX due to my escrow acct was XXXX. I called and was told they are still working on it. I was transferred to XXXX XXXX the 3rd party carrier and they said they only did what Caliber told them to do. OnXX/XX/XXXX I was speaking with XXXX agent ID XXXX at XXXX XXXX and she stated it was not her problem and transferred me to XXXX agent ID # XXXX. XX/XX/XXXXi received a new statement stating my new mortgage payment would be XXXX starting XXXX. Caliber has not received the refunds for the payments they made in error for the taxes. However, I was told if i do not make the monthly payment until they fix it, I could go into foreclosure. I am a single mom who busted my XXXX to get my family in a house. I have paid all mortgages and for them to threaten me that i may lose my home for their error is absurd. I need help. Please Help me.

I am simply looking for a payoff amount but they both have refused to provide me with one for up to four weeks, I have discussed this with many of their employees and they have strung me along and lied outright stating it was sent we have it but cant issue it to you and then others are stating that it was not sent over yet, Sent but will take 24 hours by fax. I have a number of credible witnesses that can give sworn statements as I have discussed these matters over a speaker phone line. Complaint: I wrote to the CFPB LISTING complaint under XXXX XXXX/XXXX Master Participation Trust Fund and XXXX XXXX replied with written correspond3nce that it was determined after careful evaluation that they are the TRUSTEE for the trust which they failed to specify. They say they only handle issues with the trust and the servicer on the mortgage is the one that has the authority to handle collections, issues of foreclosure, staus of mortgage which according to these fabricated submission of Documents is CALIBER HOME LOANS. Now in XX/XX/XXXX I was served judgement of foreclosure by banks firm XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, for XXXX XXXX as Trustee for XXXX. It is my understanding the servicer is the one with legal authority to collect on said monies they are stating are owed. However in XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote to the XXXX and NYS Attorney General and Caliber spoke to XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX and they stated I wasnt even in foreclosure or near that point, so then how am I being served thru the justice system a judgement and complaint foreclosure, and the servicer according to XXXX XXXX is the on, y one with authority to issue such claims. XXXX XXXX respresentimg the trustee or the trust which I can assume is XXXX XXXX. Are they in collaboration with the TRUST then to legally foreclose upon the request of the Trust. They are choosing to file papers illegally listing XXXX AND XXXX on papers without Calibers Knowledge. XXXX XXXX has not been abiding by the laws that are suppose to protect me. They filed In XX/XX/XXXX motions to the judge that their filed papers went unopposed by me the defendant and my attorney and both of us never received any documents. That was a lie and they continue to engage in unethical practices as my attorney filed For Bankruptcy in Federal Court in XX/XX/XXXX/ XX/XX/XXXX and while in Federal Court they filed motions in XX/XX/XXXX ,XX/XX/XXXX ; and in XX/XX/XXXX motions while I was still in Federal COURT and have violated federal that should have kept me protected under Federal Law while in Bankruptcy Court.until we withdrew case in XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX. They filed papers in XX/XX/XXXX which I was never informed about according to the county clerks records and was notified in XX/XX/XXXX for NOTICE OF Sale. XXXX XXXX must prove to me and the courts they have any legal right to proceed and if they do they need to go back to when they illegally motioned the court while I was in Federal cCourt snd Caliber needs to confirm any dealing with there Law Firm and tell them to recuse themselves because of their lack of following Federal Law that protected me under a Bankruptcy Law.

Complaint: This was a VA loan and they overcharged on the fee for points according to VA. They took almost 3 months and complained they had too many other customers to take care of my application. I was also told I would have 2 months with no payments with new bank and the loan did not close until XX/XX/XXXX and the payment was due to XXXX by XX/XX/XXXX so I had to pay as I promised to pay according the the Home Modification Program. I have called and tried to explain what they did but was told I got a good loan and to have a good life, they are done with me. The loan application was started XX/XX/XXXX and completed XX/XX/XXXX, they knew I was leaving the country on XX/XX/XXXX for 2 weeks so I could not do anything about it.

Complaint: Since XX/XX/XXXX, we have a home mortgage loan with Caliber Home Loans. We were affected by Hurricane Irma in XX/XX/XXXX. Caliber told us that we qualified for a 2 month forbearance for the months of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. We were under the impression that our payments that were not made in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX would be added to the end of our loan. In XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX we continued making our regular mortgage payments by calling in over the customer service line. Caliber stopped allowing us to pay our bill online and were required to either call in ( for a fee ) or mail a check. Each month our mortgage statements stated that we are delinquent although we were a part of the natural disaster. We were also charged a fee for an " inspection '' that we were not aware of until after the fact in XX/XX/XXXX. This was not disclosed when we started the forbearance by the representative who we spoke to. We were treated like we simply stopped paying our mortgage instead of being a part of the natural disaster program. The process was not as simple as they made it sound and in fact has caused a lot of hassle and complications. I spoke to an agent on XX/XX/XXXX in regards to our statements showing a past due balance and being delinquent to get a better understanding of the entire process. The process feels very deceitful because now we are forced to do one of two things : 1 ) Bring the loan to current status by paying the entire 2 months at once or 2 ) going through a loan modification which increases our loan length and our loan amount by thousands of dollars. The agent said that many customers were calling in with similar complaints. The representatives who enrolled us in the natural disaster forbearance did not disclose these additional details. It seems to be that Caliber is taking advantage of customers who suffered during a natural disaster.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I filed a Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy and the Servicer Caliber home Loans was obligated to post approximately {$5500.00} in the suspense/unapplied payments account to my post petition regular payments, plus another {$4500.00} approximately that I sent them during 2016 and they failed to do so. I need them to immediately send me an updated balance and payment sheet as soon as possible with all of this payments posted correctly.
