Complaint: I just recently had a debt of {$400.00} pleased from capital one I do not owe them any money in this account was obviously open fraudulently. Furthermore I am part of the XXXX breech and it is becoming increasingly obvious that my information is being used by someone else. I am a recipient of XXXX and I have been waiting for my credit score to read 640 so there is no possible way that I would do this to myself I am taking legal action.

Complaint: I have been a Capital One card holder for many years in the past and for the present, over 1 year. I have done business with Capital One credit card services since XXXX. I have several credit cards, and I am not past due on any of them. My present Capital One credit card is current and I have never been late on a payment or missed a payment on any of my Capital one credit cards, past or present. I get updated FICO scores from all three credit bureaus once a month and my fico score with XXXX XXXXs XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX at the present time. I applied for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card for points, but I was denied according to the letter of denial I received from Capital One dated XX/XX/XXXX says the reason ( s ) for the denial was I. Length of Revolving credit history. 2. Number of personal Finance Loan ( s ). 3. I have one loan active ( unsecure loan ). 3. Credit limits on recent bankcard Account ( s ). ( no explanation, vague to say the least. 4. Insufficient experience with high lines of credit or credit amounts. I have over {$15000.00} line of credit, and I have over 8 years of credit history with high lines of credit, as well as different types of credit experience, credit cards, secure loans, unsecure loans, etc. showing on my credit reports, shows all of the loans paid off except for one I am paying on, shows no past due amounts owed any where, etc. MY credit bureau reports shows some old closed accounts as well as open accounts with various types of credit, most of it is seasoned credit accounts, some open over a year, some three years, some over 8 years, some over 30 years. So there is no reason for me to be denied the credit card I applied for XX/XX/XXXX. I did call after I received the letter of denial to ask to speak to someone in credit, or a manger so I was put through to a floor supervisor and he said that there was no error and that there would be no review or appeal, and I thought a consumer had a right to ask for a review/appeal, but he said no, and I know that is incorrect. There is nothing wrong with my credit, and since I already have a capital one credit card ( XXXX XXXX ), I thought I would upgrade, or apply for another one that XXXX XXXX had recommended for me based on my credit scores. when I spoke with the rep from Capital One, he was rude, indifferent, didn't seem to care about keeping my business, he talked over me and would not let me get a word in edgewise, so he hung up. I believe I was treated unfairly, and with biasness, wouldn't let me speak to anyone in credit department about a review of the application. It appears to me that the denial was based on what a machine spit out, and a human being did not look at the application cause if that would have happen, I believe I would had been approved. The spokesmen did not allow me to speak to credit department, who makes the decision ( s ) to grant or deny credit. That is not right, and I believe it violates the consumer rights laws in accordance with FCRA and CFPB. The rep told me that they used the lowest FICO score XXXX XXXX instead of using XXXX ( XXXX ), and I thought that was strange, if capital one wants more customers, how come they didn 't use the highest FICO score to make a good decision?

Complaint: Capital one filed a lawsuit against me, information about the court date are listed as posted by the sheriff. I had not lived at that address for 3 years, was in another state when my wages were garnished and I discovered I had lost suit to capital one. I should have been properly notified, and I now live in a state where wage garnishments for credit card debt is illegal.

Problem with fees
Complaint: I have 3 credit cards with Capital One. All of these cards have an annual fee. I contacted Capital One and have tried to get the company to transfer these cards to cards to ones that don't have any annual fee. I was told to call back close to the time the fee would be due to check on any available cards that would be without a fee. I tried this many times as the fee on each card would become due. It was a complete was of time. I explained to them that I live on a fixed income and these charges are difficult for me to pay. I have no balance on these cards and the only thing I have to pay is their annual fee. All other credit cards I have there are no annual fees. JUST CAPITAL ONE. You would think they would have some understanding and want to help. I explained to them I don't want to close these cards because that would damage my credit score. Can anyone help me. I was only able to list one of the 3 credit card numbets.

Complaint: OnXX/XX/XXXX, I made a payment to my Capital One Quicksilver Visa Account on the due date. At the time, I made the payment online I wasn't aware I missed the cutoff time, which is not posted as you click to submit the payment. I discovered the next day that I was charged a past due fee of $XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I called the Customer Service Center and they were kind to reverse the fee. At the time, I didn't realize I would also be charged interest, because finance charges did not post on XX/XX/XXXX, they posted on XX/XX/XXXX. I paid the full balance off on XX/XX/XXXX, which I almost always do, specifically to avoid paying interest, so I was shocked to see I had been charged interest. I called the Customer Service Center on XX/XX/XXXX to see if I can get the interest reversed, as I had made the complete balance payment due. I spoke with the Account Manager, XXXX in Virginia (ID:XXXX) and he would accommodate my request. I asked to speak to his manager or to escalate it and he blatantly advised me he was the highest level I could escalate to. I don't ask for much and I have had this card since XX/XX/XXXX. I felt that I was not treated fairly and without respect. I don't understand if a previous representative understood and reversed the past due for the same situation, why not be consistent and reverse the finance charge? Is it fair to not provide a customer options to appeal a decision? I am not happy with the service Capital One provided me and hope the Voice of the Customer has value.

Complaint: I XXXX XXXX XXXX on a debt with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, even though there was a clouded issue of true ownership. At the same time XXXX XXXX XXXX stated that it purchase a debt from Capital One N.A., so did The XXXX state that they were collecting on behalf of another debt buyer known as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have already submitted my CFPB complaint pertaining to that issue. Now XXXX XXXX XXXX has a standing policy to delete all collections that have been settled. For that reason I decided to settle with XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX is still posting this paid collection and mailing to me collection letters. This must cease immediately and the account must be deleted on each credit reporting agency permanently.

Complaint: I XXXX XXXX wish to file a formal complaint with each pertinent credit reporting agency, XXXXn, XXXX and XXXX XXXX collectively. A debt collection agency known as The XXXX is involved in what will eventually be exposed as the largest financial scam against American consumers. What The XXXX, located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IL XXXX have done, and probably are doing on a much larger scale, is designating themselves as debt buyers from collection debt information referred through debt pool information affiliations. The original debtor was Capital One N.A., and without going into a very detailed outline of what entity owns the debt, I assure you that my credit card debt was pooled with a one billion plus dollar securitization. At no time was The XXXX in a position to own this debt, and for that matter, The XXXX has clouded their scan even deeper by stating that the debt was acquired by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which is affiliated as a sister company of The XXXX, see XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX California. This is a scam not only perpetuated against a consumer, but upon challenging the validity of the debt, The XXXX came back as VERIFIED AS ACCURATE. Now the plot thickens, as the very same debt was supposedly purchased by XXXX XXXX XXXX, and eventually I settled with that agency, even though XXXX could not prove ownership. So how can two debt buyers purchase the same debt at the same time? The truth is, The XXXX never had any position on this debt, and this debt buyer/debt collection agency has voided its responsibility to its subscriber agreement with every credit reporting agency. They are scammers to a fault, and their licensing agreement with each credit reporting agency should be pulled immediately. The collection items must be removed, and the Federal Trade Commission along with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau must step in and take legal action against The XXXX and their affiliated businesses. P.S. There are no less that 54 current lawsuits found through XXXX against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and this must give the credit reporting agencies a huge red flag on The XXXX licensing.
