Complaint: In XX/XX/2019 I closed my VISA VENTURE credit card account with Capital One. Then On XX/XX/XXXX I made two prescription charges for the amounts of {$480.00} and {$370.00}, which, instead of billing them on my XXXX XXXX account, were auto-billed and subsequently paid by Capital One ( without my permission ).
On XX/XX/XXXX I received the billing statement from Capital One, which showed the error. I immediately called Capital 1 and asked them to reverse the charges, and in a conference call with XXXX, requested the latter to rebill my XXXX XXXX account. This was done on XX/XX/XXXX and I subsequently paid for those charges to XXXX.
On XX/XX/XXXX I received a statement from XXXX, which showed that " a chargeback was processed and created debit memo '' of {$480.00}. When I tried to place a new prescription order, I could not do so without first paying this erroneous debt, caused by fraudulent charges created by Capital One. My inability to order new urgent prescriptions ( of XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX medications ) is placing me into a life threatening situation entirely caused by Capital One, which appears to be playing games with my account, for refusing to honor my request to close the account back over 6 months ago.

Complaint: Each time I make a payment, the payment comes out of my bank but is not applied to my account for weeks. The Menard 's Contractor Card with Capital One is terrible. Problem during payment process
Complaint: I have 2 Credit cards with Capital One. I went to make a payment on both of them and accidentally made a payment twice to one card. When this was figured out I called to fix and they moved payment around but still decided to report the payment late to the credit bueauas. I have talked to several people and they refuse to call me back to fix this issue while I am trying to close on my home loan.

Complaint: Good Evening, I submitted complaint XXXX against Capital One and XXXX regarding a 30 day late on my credit report after I paid the indicated past due balance to Capital One.
I received a phone call from XXXX with the executive office at Capital One advising me that she had reviewed my file and that I had paid the past due fee, which is not the past due amount. XXXX admitted that the statements can be confusing and that Capital One does not include the past due amount on their statements because they do not want you to pay the past due amount only, they want you to pay the amount in full. The issue I have with this is, if a consumer can not pay the full amount, it is not Capital One 's decision to take the ability to make the past due payment and avoid a 30 day late on their credit report away from the consumer. XXXXCapital One did not reverse the 30 day late as they state they were correct in reporting it because I only paid the past due fee ( which I understood to be the past due amount ).
I find the practices of Capital One to be unethical. Per XXXX, I would have had to contact collections to find the true past due amount. My question to XXXX was, how was I supposed to know to contact Collections? Capital One is deceitful and very uncooperative.
I also asked Capital One to assist me during my financial problems. I am currently a XXXX XXXX XXXX, on full bed rest and unable to avoid the high bills I'm receiving every month from Capital One. I explained my circumstances and I was denied assistance with paying my bills. I was told there was not program that could be offered to me. I find this hard to believe! It only seems logical that Capital One would like to receive some portion of their payments every month instead of me not being able to pay them anything and having my credit ruined because of my unavoidable inability to pay.

Complaint: My Capital One card payment is due on the XXXX of each month. I made my payment online on the XXXX at XXXX PT and received a note saying I will be charged a late fee and my payment can only be scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX. I called Capital One and asked them to not charge me a late fee because its a ridiculous, arbitrary policy. I also asked if I could make a payment over the phone because they are open for business and accepting calls and today is not an official banking day so it doesnt matter what time I make my payment. They state because my card was not opened before military service and I do not qualify.
I would like to know if this is true and if so how can we fix this?
A person on XXXX XXXX should be able to receive the SCRA on credit cards that are open during service.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: This complaint involves a Capital One credit card.
I had a 30 day free trial with a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX, a fantasy football service, back on XX/XX/XXXX. So I cancelled my free trial, before the 30 days were over.I have the cancellation receipt.
So this company had my credit card information, and 9 months later, they started charging me monthly- {$29.00}. So if I hadn't cancelled their service, I would've been getting charged the previous 9 months too, you know?
So I contacted Capital One, provided them the receipt showing I cancelled this service, and Capital One told me my cancellation receipt wasn't enough information??
I'm so upset with Capital One, they treated me like I'm some kind of criminal, and this company was the one that took my credit card number and started billing me randomly after a 9 month hiatus.
I got billed 14 times for {$29.00}, as this company started billing me twice a month for some unknown reason, in the months of XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX.
I just thought I post this situation, so someone considering any Capital One credit card, might want to rethink about it.
What is funny, is the same thing happened to my wife, she had the same problem with her XXXX XXXX credit card and the same company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, starting to randomly starting to charge her card a few months after cancellation, and XXXX XXXX was great. They immediately credited my wife 's account, didn't treat her like some crook, and didn't have her on the phone for 3 hours like Capital One, and didn't make her wait for weeks for a decision, and then favor the rogue, scam company. How obvious was this?

Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and I still found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information.
How is it possible that the DATE OF LAST ACTIVITY on XXXX reports XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, and XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. That's months, and year apart!!! There is no way that the same company/bank would send totally different data to the credit reporting agencies.

Complaint: XXXX charged an application fee but I was not admitted due to an error on an XXXX Enrollment Specialist making an error. I had to wait until the following semester to start school so I disputed this charge until or unless XXXX refunded me for the application fee. They took awhile so I filed a dispute with Capital One. Then a few days later XXXX settled the issue and paid me back in full. Now Capital One is refusing to release the provisional funds back to card until the Merchant responds to some letter. The merchant has responded. They paid me back. I need this case closed and the dispute cancelled. I'm being held up for admittance for the next semester now due to this. This dispute is over. XXXX fulfilled their duties. Cancel the dispute immediately.
