Complaint: There are several hard inquiries on my report that I did not apply for including inquiries on the following dates from the following companies : TWO inquiries from Capital One on XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( I already have a Capital One Credit Card, and I have received several emails about a breach with this company. I never applied for another credit card with them since I already have a credit card with a {$500.00} limit from them ). Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX ( This is when I was initially approved for the credit card that I currently have with Capital One. However, I was approved for this, so it shouldn't be under hard inquiries ) XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ( I have never heard of this bank in my life, and I did not apply for a credit card at this time. ) Dept. of Edu on XX/XX/XXXX ( No loan was submitted through the Department of Education. XXXX XXXX had me go through XXXX, which is a different institution. XXXX Fce on XX/XX/XXXX ( I did not apply for a credit card with this bank. I am attending XXXX school online here ; however, I did not apply for a bank account or credit card with an institution that is not even in my state ).

Complaint: Hi, I have a capital one credit card. I paid the total statement amount 2 days before the bill was due. I received a email today that my account is past due. When I contacted them they said they payment was returned and so they are refusing to even consider waiving the late fee and interest they slapped on. I spoke with a few people and they all where not helpful. I also dont want this going on my credit report as I paid this bill on time and did my part. Thank you in advance

Complaint: I strongly believe Capital One has discriminated me due to me age. I am XXXX yrs old and applied for a Capital One credit card. I had credit scores of XXXX XXXX and XXXX with XXXX and XXXX Capital One 's reason for denial was very very vague. First they used my lowest credit score with XXXX they also said I had : 1. Too many recent inquiries : seriously I have had 3 inquiries in last 6 months, 2 of those are on the same day with XXXX opening a checking account & Credit card 2. Too many new revolving accounts. I opened 2 new revolving accounts in last 60 days, since when is that an issue 3. Recent credit Bureau inquiry :?? seems this is the identical reason as # 1 just worded differently to make it seem like a separate issue. 4. They claim my credit limits on recent " XXXX '' accounts. What the XXXX?? My recent XXXX is {$20000.00} and XXXX XXXX is {$10000.00} Capital One also conveniently did not mention that I have no mortgage. My home has been paid off for the last 20 yrs, I have no car payment, I do not pay car insurance. My debt to ratio is under 3 % and I have over a XXXX dollars in assets. I would love to compare my credit report with others who Capital One has approved for credit. This is clearly Discrimination.

Complaint: I paid my account off in full prior to the due date. I paid a large payment on XXXX, then the remaining XXXX on XXXX. My account due date is the XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, the creditor charged me {$62.00} in interest charges, saying although I had paid the card off in full, I had carried a balance for the prior month. The current interest charge was the interest charges for the current cycle. Their card agreement says the cycle is 25 days, they will not charge further interest unless you have made charges during the cycle. I did not have any charges since XX/XX/30. They refused to waive the interest even though I have paid the account in full, and by their terms. This used to be illegal.

I highly recommend you generate verification that CAP ONE AUTO has been reported completely in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act regulations, it's really a serious problem to mis-report. Moreconfirmation of the aforesaid item too. My proper request mustover, I was never 30 days/60 days/120 days late in any of my payments and I'm not greatly tuned in to the date opened so I prefer to ask your be investigated as soon as possible and confirmed to be correct. Complaint: Capital One has once again inaccurately reported my credit balance incorrectly after I submitted a dispute to Capital one to fix this error. I submitted a dispute on XX/XX/XXXX after speaking with a Capital One Rep., who told me about this process, hoping it would be corrected so my credit score would not suffer. The underline issue is that Capital One is still not reporting my balance of XXXX which is the balance on my XXXX statement which was supposed to be reported on the XX/XX/XXXX but instead my balance of {$1000.00} was reported prematurely to XXXX and XXXX by Capital One on XX/XX/19 which made my credit utilization 59 % when instead it should have been 28 %. My billing cycle was not closed while Capital One reported my balance of {$1000.00} prematurely. I am sending supporting documentation that includes the amount on my billing statement which should have been reported on the XXXX of XXXX. After sending Capital One dispute department a detailed letter describing this issue in attempt to fix the problem ; Capital One responding by reporting XXXX on XXXX, instead of XXXX. I am at my wits end with Capital One after three years. After calling Customer service numerous times, no one knows what is going on, I keep getting the run around and I can not not reach anyone directly at Capital One who would address this concern. I will also provide my dispute letter that was sent to Capital One.

Complaint: Capital One credit services ( the bank ) unilaterally changed my monthly due date without proper notice. Further, the bank charged late fees and interest to my account and refused to waive after recurring issues with its payment processing function ( s ). In previous inquiries, I asked the bank to look into and address its mobile app payment function, specifically its occasional failure. The banks response and refusal to properly remedy these concerns are catalyst to this complaint. I have attempted to resolve these matters many times with the bank and as recent as today - the banks conduct is egregious and concusses should be forewarned of its lack of service, professionalism and poor business acumen.

Complaint: an individual whom I allowed entry into my house stole my debit card and misappropriated my funds. I reported this to my bank and they cancelled the card gave me a provision credit for the transactions that were disputed and issued a new card. Then a month later the bank sends me an email that says one thing though on the phone the say the opposite. On the phone they say that they are holding me liable for the transactions with the stolen card and they even went as far as withdrawing the full amount of the theft in other words XXXX dollars from another account i held with them without even doing a good faith investigation. I hired an attorney and the bank wont even let her talk to them. they provided an email which they won't respond to. my bank stole my money and I have gone through the discolsures and agreement carefully and they are in breach of their agreement that they must follow. further because they are playing dirty and simply do not want to accept thta they ar ein the wrong and re breaching the customer agreement and discosures they TERMINATED my banking relationship with them and restricted my account so i can't use it. FOUL

Complaint: I made a payment to Capital One to XXXX out a balance on account I was closing because of fraudulent charges caused by a Capital One data breach. Capital One " lost '' a check for {$170.00} and instructed me to stop payment and send another payment, which I did. The second payment of {$170.00} cleared my bank and created a XXXX balance. After that, Capital One " found '' the first check and tried to deposit it. But it was rejected by my bank ( because the payment had been made already ). Now, Capital One claims that because the duplicate payment is stopped I still have a balance due. But the balance due is XXXX. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to resolve this with XXXX ( XXXX ), and she was unable to resolve the issue. The bottom line is that Capital One is now trying to collect funds it is not owed. I want to file a formal complaint against them. This bank is unprofessional and dishonest.

Now Capital One has added an additional security feature that I can not comply with. Because I can not comply with its new system Capital One has blocked my online access. I have pointed out to the bank that it can not impose a requirement on me that it did not have when I opened the accounts. Such an act is a breach of contract as well as a breach of the depositors ' agreement in effect when I opened the accounts. Please prevail on this bank to restore my online privelages.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I went to get a city sticker at the local currency exchange. Although I had cash I decided to pay the additional {$2.00} fee in order to buy my license plate sticker. I was checking my credit card statement some days later and capital one decided to charge me {$10.00} cash advance fee and {$.00} in interest charges. I was surprised and called them the day after. I let them know I have never drawn cash on this account and asked them what it was related to. They said the currency exchange ran the transaction as a cash advance. I let them know I didnt get cash and I was not informed. If I wouldve known I wouldve just paid cash. I asked them how can I be protected against this deceitful charge in the future if the merchant doesnt let me know. Capital one has no answer for me after making me wait 20 minutes. In addition. They didnt want to file an electronic dispute. Lastly told them to waive the fee which was insignificant but wrong in principle. After making me wait 10 additional minutes they denied my request. With the security breach that has been part of the news as well as this experience I will be ending my relationship with them. However I wanted to escalate this matter so they can better protect their customers from deceitful charges. I appreciate you know the matter head on. Thanks.

Complaint: I walked into XXXX XXXX with the intention of viewing some shirts. Expectedly, I was met with very push salesman eager to upsell me on a suit or suits. After some back and forth, I agreed to purchase two custom shirts and three ties. The merchant stated they would have the purchased items ready in 2 days time. Upon receiving my receipt, I noticed the total amount in XXXX was not what we agreed on in US dollars. At this point, I did not want to conduct further business with this merchant. I decided to leave the establishment to avoid confrontation and confirm my suspicion. In the taxi ride to my hotel, I confirmed they grossly over charged me for the merchandise, so I called to cancel this order that was placed just minutes before. Instead of honoring my request, they asked me to return to the establishment to be fitted for a suit. I declined several times and they insisted that they would not cancel my order. I politely declined to return to the store and simply asked to cancel the order before ending the call. They continued to harass me with follow up call via the XXXX. Proceeding the call, I contacted Capital One support describing the matter at hand and filed my claim. I have not received any goods from this merchant and have no interest in paying for merchandise I have not received or requested.
