Complaint: On XX/XX/19 I received a call from capital one XXXX XXXX saying that my account was delinquent for {$800.00}. At closer look XXXX XXXX capital one had reversed my last four payments totally {$800.00} to XXXX/XXXX. I have been on the phone with both companies jointly multiple times since XX/XX/19 trying to get the {$800.00} back to my XXXX XXXX capital one card. I have also filed formal payment investigations twice. Both companies blame each other and no one will take ownership for the problem. I am unable to speak with a supervisor at capital one. I was told to write a letter. I am still out the {$800.00}. XXXX bill pay says they have resent it to capital one XXXX XXXX and capital one denies it and says they have not received it or that my husbands name is on it although they take payments from this account. I have spent more than 8 hours on the phone with both parties and 2.5 months later the issue remains unresolved. If it was {$100.00} I would have given up but not for {$800.00}. I need help and a voice with these two companies who seem not to care. I called once again tonight XX/XX/19 to XXXX capital one and they told me it was a XXXX issue and XXXX sent a letter today saying it is dressbarn capital one 's issue.

Complaint: Step 1 : What is this complaint about? This complaint is about Wal-Mart selling their credit card account to capital 1 and as a result, my credit score dropped 23 points in one day from XX/XX/19 to XX/XX/19. I had nothing to do with them selling the account so why should I be negatively effected by this as the account was moved from my experian account. Step 2 : What type of problem are you having? When Walmart sold the credit account to Capital One, either Capital One or Wal-Mart closed out the account on my XXXX credit report and it is possible that the other credit reports will be effected tomorrow XX/XX/19. If I didn't make this decision to close out the account, why should i be negatively effected by it. I am in the process of buying a house and 23 points in one day is mind blowing. By them closing out the account it messed up my credit utilization and my score went down 23 points. I was not notified of this and it is not fair. Step 3 : What happened? My score went down 23 point in one day on my XXXX report and it is a possibility the other reports will go down tomorrow. This is a huge inconvenience. Step 4 : What company is this complaint about? Complaint: I have repeatedly file complaints with capital one over thier payment system. I have made several payments from the same account number now capital one is refusing to move late payments from my account after acknowledging that the payments were made and did not go through. For security reasons my bank will not provide account and routing numbers in a letter on their letter head which capital one is asking for. When trying to input my account number on several occasions the system kept saying invalid account number even though my account number is valid. Capital one acknowledges that I made the payment from the account that I always make it from but sometimes their system accepts it and sometimes it doesn't

Complaint: capital one keeps reporting negative remarks on my accounts to the credit bureaus. They keep saying that I initiated a dispute, investigation completed, and consumer disagrees and this is simply not the truth. My two capital one accounts are closed. At one point the payments were late but never missed as I always paid something. I closed these accounts and enrolled them into a debt management company so that Capital One would be paid. I could have walked away from the debt but did not do so. But Capital one says that I have disputed my accounts and that is not true. The only thing I have ever disputed are these false, misleading remarks that they keep placing on my credit files. I am trying to get a mortgage and this is impacting my ability to do so. Why must capital one do this to me? Are they upset that the interest rate got reduced when I submitted my two accounts to be handled by this debt management company? Are they not happy that the accounts are being paid on time each month? Why are they intentionally trying to hurt me by posting these remarks that are not true on my credit reports. They are intentionally trying to get me turned down for a mortgage for my family. I have asked them in the past to stop this, they called me and said that all remarks would be removed but this was a lie. I am filing this complaint to have the CFPB help me. I am attaching a copy of the credit report to show proof of their unprofessional conduct. My next step is to file a State Attorney Generals complaint against them if they refuse to honor my request. They are intentionally reporting these false, derogatory remarks on all 3 credit bureau reports and it needs to stop. This is getting out of hand that they are doing this to me. I could simply stop paying them and let the debt go into a write off status for them and not let them get one single dime moving forward but I do not want to do that but they are leaving me no choice. If the remarks are not removed and kept off moving forward the Colorado State Attorney Generals office will open an investigation. Account numbers XXXX XXXX
