Complaint: I just came back from overseas and I realized I had a Capital One account still open and payment due. When I called originally ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I was trying to get the status of the bill/account. I asked when I needed to pay the bill by and they said the following Friday ( XX/XX/XXXX ). That's when the billing cycle was over. On Monday ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I called to make a full payment and they said it went into collections and they're not sure why/how the other representative said Friday. They told me to call back or they'll call me right back. They haven't gotten back to me and every time I've called, I get put on hold of hours or get the runaround/transferred. Customer service was absolutely horrible and nothing was resolved.

Complaint: I currently have an auto loan through Capital One. I was involved in a car accident in Michigan where the state has no fault insurance. Due to that and the month it took for them to report my car as totaled I had to quickly find a car because I depleted my savings into a rental thinking my car was going to be fixed. I went to a great dealership where they were very helpful -- from what I thought. The payments were manageable -- not ideal but manageable at about {$340.00} a month. Its been about a year with this car and I've been making the payments. With being a student in school and working to build my finances I had my cousin help me work a path to save. I sent him everything to look into and he came back and was astounded that this dealership let me sign these papers given what the interest rate was 21.68 %. In my defense I grew up in a household where I was not taught any of these things and our education system doesn't even touch on this. I looked at the payment amount and thought all was fine. I've reached out and they told me that due to my credit that is why it is high. Other lenders have told me the same thing -- how is this a fair market for those who are learning and trying to get themselves out of a mess like this? My questioning as I am slowly learning the total amount I'd be paying in interest is at this point robbery.

Complaint: I spoke to a representative on XX/XX/XXXX. He said he was calling from capital one. They've been calling me since XX/XX/XXXX. They call me several times a day. While I'm in school. I told him that I'm a XXXX XXXX with no job but I was going to pay on XX/XX/XXXX. I told them to stop the calls. He told me that it was impossible. They were going to wait a week and if the debt wasn't paid they will call again. I have been getting about 5 calls a day since then.

Complaint: This particular account situation that is lately filing on my own credit document has a seriously unfavorable relation to my personal ability to obtain a present loan application. I highly recommend you generate verification that CAPITAL ONE BANK USA has been reported completely in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act regulations, it's really a serious problem to mis-report. Moreconfirmation of the aforesaid item too. My proper request mustover, I was never 30 days/60 days/120 days late in any of my payments and I'm not greatly tuned in to the date opened so I prefer to ask your be investigated as soon as possible and confirmed to be correct. Complaint: In XX/XX/2019 I paid off my Capital One card and was not planning on using the card ever again because of the high interest rate. The card was lost or stolen and charges in the amount totaling up to {$690.00} were charged. I have contacted Capital One multiple times and reported my card as being stolen and fraudulent charges were made. Capital One stated the card had been blocked and that I would not be responsible for the charges. Since XX/XX/XXXX I have had multiple addresses post on my credit reports that I've never lived at by Capital One. I still reside where I did when I applied for the card. I've disputed with the credit bureaus the information was incorrect with No resolve to my issues. I would like the {$690.00} in fraudulent charges removed and my credit reports updated as well as a payment that Capital One posted late in XX/XX/2019. Since then my account has been closed and I was told the information would update by Capital One but it never has and they stated it had updated my balance to show a {$0.00} balance and the negative payment was removed, but this is not true.

Complaint: I made a payment on XX/XX/XXXX to my XXXX credit card. Payment was accepted with confirmation XXXX. I never received notice that they didnt get the payment. And I never saw it returned to me. Now I have a payment past due when I did make the payment on XX/XX/XXXX. This will affect my credit because they couldnt process the payment correctly because according to the gentleman I spoke with, this happens all the time. What I dont appreciate is the lack of communication that the payment didnt go through when it was accepted in the first place and then just brushed off with it happens all the time. This affects their customers credit when they cant even process payments for whatever reason they have. I dont like the answer I was given and I want them to remove the past due amount.
