Complaint: I noticed on my credit report that I had multiple inquiries from XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX from Capital One. I contacted them and was told that these originated fromXXXX XXXX, in XXXX XXXX XXXX. I purchased my vehicle from them a year prior so I knew they had my information. I contacted XXXX XXXX who told me they got a application from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have tried to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX to have them remove these inquiries from my credit with no response. I never submitted any application to them seeing as I have a car I just purchased. Capital One runs your credit as a hard inquiry not one time but two as they did when I purchased my car. Two weeks after I purchased my car, they did another inquiry on my credit. They should remove this. My loan was done on XX/XX/XXXX and they ran my credit as a hard inquiry again on XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: XX/XX/2018 Both of credit cards were closed without any notice prior to doing so. I attempt several times in the past 3 days to explain the circumstances of a returned payment which was not done intentionally. i selected the wrong payment method after realizing. i contacted capital one immediately and they told me on the phone that everything will be ok. As long i posted payment on due date. i got a notification from XXXX. i feel disappointed that i had to realized from a third party that my accounts were closed. they didnt send me a email or letter. in good faith, i still paid off balance in full after account closed. captial one should understand that mistakes happen and if you cant give exception or second chance then you shouldn't be dealing with consumers. I am highly disappointed and I am awaiting to hear back from capitalone in the reconsideration reopening my account. i am in the process of buying a house and i cant allow capital one stop me from doing so.

Complaint: I am a XXXX patient that is losing their XXXX therefore I needed to purchase a wig. On XX/XX/18, I purchased a wig from XXXX XXXX but the hair started coming out by the handful. After the XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/18 ), I called the owner to provide another wig or refund. Later that week I found out the wig was over 2 year old and was damaged before selling it therefore I left the wig with the owner. This wig was presented to me as a New Wig that came with bangs but this wig did not come with bangs. The owner washed and cut the wig to disguise the damages to pass it off on me. I told the owner she should have fully disclose everything about the wig, I would been able to make informed decision. I immediately requested Capital One 360 stop the Debit Card purchase but it was still pending. They told me to call back when it had posted which made it more difficult to resolve. I attempted to resolve the issue by offering to wait for new wig, ask the owner to send the wig to add more hair but the owner still refused to make good on the purchase ( {$860.00} ). Capital One 360 provided provisional credit in the amount of {$860.00} and continued to investigate. On XX/XX/18, they denied the claim because the owner says purchases are final. I explained to Capital One 360 the owner has the wig and they were allowing her to keep the funds. If they had stop the debit card purchase once it posted the owner would have worked out a resolution. After 11 years as a loyal customer of Capital One 360, a decision was made to deny the disputed claim which overdrew my checking account in the amount {$860.00}. Capital One 360 Claims department refused to speak any further.

Complaint: since XXXX, capital one have been pulling my credit putting hard inquiries on my credit without my authorization. According to my most recent credit report, the company is currently reporting to the three credit bureaus that I had applied for credit with their organization. I do not recall granting them authorization to review my credit report. If so, they should provide signed documents signed by me where i authorized them to do so. Otherwise, they have to remove it as soon as possible. These inquiries put my credit down 40 points. since XXXX, i've been sending dispute letters to them through the bureaus ; i've contacted them by phone, but still they haven't taken any action. While no accounts were established the fraudulent applications left inquiries on his credit report that have a negative impact of his credit information. The applications were submitted to XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX credit card XX/XX/XXXX, Kohl's/Cap One XX/XX/XXXX. Official disputes were mailed certified mail with return receipt to each office on the same date XX/XX/XXXX, as of this date none of these offices have replied to my client to the status of these disputes. This is a violation of the FCRA and my clients federal consumer rights.

Unexpected increase in interest rate
Complaint: I have received '0 % APR introductory rate ' offers from this company at a frequency of 2-3 times a month for the past year of so. In XX/XX/XXXX I foolishly accepted the best offer I had received from them to date, against my better judgement ( based on online reviews of the company and it's practices ). The offer was for a 0 % APR until XX/XX/XXXX, and seemed too good to be true, but, as my fiance and I were planning our wedding, having access to extra credit was a godsend. The wedding was in XX/XX/XXXX, and we were lucky enough to receive financial support from our parents, meaning that I had the cash needed to pay off the card in full sitting in my savings account, but did not, as the contract I signed meant that the balance should not incur interest until XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX, I checked my statement and found that they had been charging me interest at 24.74 % for the months of XXXX and XXXX resulting in a total of {$110.00} in interest charges. As soon as I noticed this, I requested the company send me the original terms and conditions using their online portal, however, the document I received was the *current* interest rate. To sort this out, I called their customer service line on XX/XX/XXXX. After waiting on hold, I was told that they only offer promotional rates for 6 or 9 months, and so I " must have signed up for 9 months ''. I said that I am certain the offer was for longer than that, because I meticulously keep track of my finances, and a quick perusal of my accounts would show as much. Because the customer service representative started getting very cagey, I requested to speak to his supervisor. After waiting on hold for over 20 minutes while she supposedly read through my contract, she came back with the same " we only offer promotional rates for 6 to 9 months, so you would have to fax us your original agreement ''. I got the fax number from her and proceeded to request that she email me a copy of the *original* document she was reading through, as it is not possible to do so via their portal. She assured me she would email it to me, but did not take my email address. When I then stated that I plan to disputing these interest charges because they had failed to inform me of the increase in interest rates within the 45 days stipulated in the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure act of XXXX ( Title I, Sec.101 ), she hung up on me. I have copies of my statements which show that in addition to not sending me any advance notice, the " Account notifications '' portion of the statement where they state " Welcome to your account notifications. Check back here each month for important updates to your account '', did not contain any notifications of this interest change.
