Your outstanding customer service is the reason Ive remained a loyal customer, and Ive always considered it a priority to make all my payments on time. Unfortunately, I fell short of my own standards in the year of XX/XX/XXXX when I lost my employment, and I was over a month late with a payment. Your records will show that I had never been late with a payment until this unfortunate oversight, and I have been prompt with payments since getting caught up. Complaint: this company discriminates. i asked for help on past due payment history on my account. i asked for the late fee marks on my account be removed due to working on my credit. having a new card in good standing, due to me being XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. i was asked private info regarding my XXXX XXXX XXXX, i was told i was a liar that the call didnt exist until 3 weeks later the call was found. i asked for my late payment reporting history to be removed. this company says they dont remove negative history from credit reports when in fact they do and have done so. i have proof. they called me a liar asked for my XXXX info all to deny me. this company is sad. they did no research from my initial email to assist me. my proof attached shows that this company lies, they pick and choose. they discriminate. they are awful. they are able they can help but they wont help women.

Complaint: Hello, On XX/XX/2018, I made two identical wire transfers of $ CAD XXXX each from my companys bank account in XXXX to my wife and my personal accounts at XXXX and Capital One in the US. The two transfers were made in interval of several minutes. To my surprise, the amounts in USD which were received at each bank were entirely different. In XXXX, I received USD XXXX, which was calculated at the currency exchange rate of XXXX XXXX/USD. In Capital One, I have received USD XXXX, as the conversion rate they used was XXXX. So the difference was nearly {$3000.00} for two identical transactions of foreign exchange conversions made at the same time. Please see the attachments showing the two transfers. While understandably it is likely to have differences between two banks rates, the difference was substantial. I looked at rates range on XX/XX/XXXX, and could see that the lower rate that day was XXXX. Please see : https : XXXX I have therefore approached my local Capital One bank, who contacted their wire department for further explanation. The answer I was provided is that Capital One set their own rates which are unrelated to the trading day rates! I was very unhappy with this answer, and filed a complaint at Capital One Customer Care. I have explained that when a person makes an international wire transfer, he can reasonably expect to have the funds converted into local currency based on a trading day range ( even if it would be the lowest rate on that day ). However, Capital One used a considerably lower rate to convert my CAD to USD XXXX vs XXXX ( the day lower rate ), which it has determined arbitrarily. The response I have received from their Customer Care department was the same as the one I received from the wire department Capital One uses their own rates, and that the rate they used was correct. I responded that doing this intentionally is even worse the bank knowingly overcharges its customers when converting funds from other currencies. I therefore believe this is a very unfair and unlawful behavior of a bank to determine their own rates regardless of the days market rates. This behavior resulted in a loss of nearly {$3000.00}. Complaint: [ in the prior section, I was forced to put something down, this was not related to closing an account, we never got that far .... ] XX/XX/2018 ( Phone call took place at XXXX XXXX. MST ) A Gentleman by the name of XXXX introduced himself to me as being with Capital One, and was keenly interested in transferring all of my EXTREMELY high credit card balances over to his rather modest 4.9 % credit card. When I explained to him that I don't have a credit card, and that I am currently on the National Do Not Call List, and asked to speak with his manager, he promptly forwarded the call over to the FBI. Capital One calls me harassing me, nearly everyday ; and somedays they call 4 and 5 times. ( well not me personally, they'll speak with anyone who answers my phone, I don't think that they actually know my name, just my phone number ). They are playing hardball cold call phishing As I previously stated XXXX, forwarded my call over to the FBI, where I spoke with a gentleman who re-directed me to the CFPB to file a complaint.

Complaint: I sent a validation goodwill letter to both XXXX & Capital originally dated on XX/XX/XXXX asking them to verify the late payments that are showing on my credit report since I never been late on any of my payments. Since I did not hear anything back from them within that 30 day time period I sent them no response letters to each creditor XXXX and Capitol One and I sent Section 609 letters to each credit bureaus dated on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX asking them for proof of the late payments that were being reported on my credit report. After I sent that I received a response from the credit bureau and each creditor. My response from the bureau included a copy of my credit report : XXXX sent me an update in which they changed only in regards to XXXX not Capitol One, but XXXX and XXXX did not update anything. I received a letter from Capitol One and XXXX stating they need information from me such as the letter and copy of my credit report in which I sent. Furthermore I sent both creditors what they wanted this included a form from XXXX verifying my personal information and Capitol one requested I provide them a copy of the letter they sent with my credit report showing the late payment and then both creditors sent back letters stating they will not be updating anything and I need to provide more information completely ignoring my request.

Afterwards I received a confirmation letter from Capital One dated XX/XX/2018 stating the account was complete and settled. My problem is the derogatory mark continues to show on my credit report as of today XX/XX/2018. The Amounts Owed category makes up 30 % of a credit score as a result this mark is keeping my score low. It doesn't look favorable to future lenders. This was paid over 6 months ago. I am asking please delete this completely so it doesn't show on my credit report at all. I need my score to increase for future business plans. Best regards,
