Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I called Capital One and spoke to XXXX ID # XXXX in regards of the late payment they put on my credit report for XXXX showing I was late. I have proof that I made a payment on the XX/XX/XXXX, 5 days before the actual due date which the XXXX of each month. XXXX stated that its reporting that way because of how their billing cycle are set up and from my previous late payment for XXXX and XXXX. Yes I was ate for XXXX and XXXX. However, I made my payment a few days later on XX/XX/2018 for {$730.00}. I have no control of how they run their billing cycles, but I do have control of my credit report. They are in violation of FRCA, and can only report valid information, nor can they penalize me for any previous late months. I have written the CEO twice and have proof of those letters also and contacted all 3 credit bureaus, and file complaint with XXXX. As I stated to them If this is not handled accordingly, the next step is to sue them for incorrect reporting. They can never give a valid reason to why they make their decisions and I am fed up at this point. I have witnessed many people who get these remarks removed which leaves them into discrimination. I have given them 30 days to respond. Its funny how the CEO can respond to these complaints but he has an executive team to handle his emails ... .. Also, when I called the company they responded that XXXX did not send them all of the verifying evidence to confirm each account is unverified.

The account currently showing closed with the payment status of being charged off. I've submitted notarized police reports for the fraudulent charges on my credit accounts. It is currently on my XXXX & XXXX report. It was on my XXXX report but was removed once I disputed it. I would like to have it removed as soon as possible from the other reports.

Complaint: Capital one placed restrictions on 2 of my credit cards and changed credit cards and refused to send me new credit cards once they was completed with fraud investigation. They also reported false information to credit bureaus that my accounts was past due. I have contacted capital one fraud management to try and resolve this matter. Capital one is taking money automatically out of my bank account monthy for my payments. This is so unfair to me as a customer. If capital one dont send me new credit cards and remove restrictions from my cards, I will not be paying them any longer.

Complaint: I opened a secure credit card account with Capital One in XXXX, 2018. I closed it on XX/XX/2018. I am suppose to get a {$420.00} refundable deposit returned to me, and a {$440.00} credit balance refunded as well, total = {$860.00} but I have not received either one as of todays date. IT is part of the credit card agreement and consumer has fulfilled his duties by honoring the credit card agreement and owes nothing to capital one on the account so he should get his deposit back as ( per the agreement after an account has been closed ), and the account paid in full. Consumer has uploaded saved chat with Capital One Represenative, ( see attachment ).

Complaint: Got a Capital One Credit card in the mail that i applied for and before I could even use it it got hacked and XXXX worth of charges got put on it from another person that I don't even know that lives in Florida. But in the process of getting that straightened out I went to get a debt consolidation loan to pay off some of my debt and when I went to get the checks to payoff my debts I noticed they gave me a check for my Capital One Card and I told the lady at the loan company that those charges where not mine and I need my money back and she responded that it was on my credit report and it is our rules you have to send the check to Capital One and then they will refund your money. So I went ahead and sent the check and I waited for Capital One to credit it to the account then I got on the phone with the fraud Department of Capital One and told them what happened and after a long 3 month investigation they are telling me that I am not getting my money back. They also said they see that it was fraud but Capital One don't do refunds it is against there policy you have to go back to the loan company and get them to dispute the check. So I did that and the loan company said they will not dispute the check. So I guess I am just XXXX out from the the credit card company. Can you help me with this or tell me somebody who can. Complaint: I had to travel for work over a 10 day period. The first leg of the trip was to XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. The second half of the Trip was to XXXX XXXX onXX/XX/XXXX for engagements at XXXX conferences in the area returning to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. All required reservations were made months in advance through XXXX and XXXX utilizing the account in question. The first leg of the trip had no issues. On the last day in XXXX, we spent time at the Capital One Cafe, having a fairly good coffee with the account in question, and spoke with the representatives whom looked into our account to make sure everything was properly set for the trip. I was told this also included the fact that we were traveling at the time, but was informed today XX/XX/XXXX that no note about the travel was ever made. We left XXXX and took a ride share to the airport, made purchases at the airport, checked in our bags, boarded the plane, and got another car in the early morning from the XXXX XXXX airport to the hotel downtown ( after a layover in XXXX ). All purchases were made using the account in question and showed a clear path of travel from the previous destination to the new destination. Such a path should be analyzed by systems determining account suspicion. Upon arriving at the hotel in downtown XXXX XXXX after XXXX local time, our card was declined when attempting to check in. The balance was well and above the charges which signaled the card was flagged for suspicious activity during travel. This was confirmed the next day with a Capital One representative and was a direct paradox to what we had been told would occur in XXXX. I called Capital One customer service only to be shocked that they do not have anyone on staff or any system in place to actually verify a transaction after business hours. There credit card division had staff but is not able to work with debit cards and verify those transactions to release a card. We keep all our money with Capital One, a decision I am learning is not an intelligent strategy. Thus the hotel was unable to pre-authorize the card and we were unable to check in meaning we had to simply wait in the dark in downtown XXXX XXXX with our luggage until Capital One offices finally opened so that someone could be reached by phone, which is dangerous inherently. We also lost our hotel reservation for the week since we were unable to check in. XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX happened to have 6 major conferences going on in the city and all hotels were either completely filled or charging upwards of 5 times the rate of when we booked months before. The hotel of our original reservation was completely booked and we were forced to pay to stay in the one across the street for $ 700+ a night because of the limited availability ( a room normally priced at $ XXXX/night ) after a long night outside waiting on offices to open. The original stay for 4 nights ( XX/XX/XXXXthrough theXX/XX/XXXX ) was {$1100.00} ( excluding tax and fees ) or {$270.00} per night. The final cost following the loss of reservation and re-booking was {$2200.00} for 3 nights ( first spent outside ) or {$730.00} per night. I spoke to Capital One on multiple occasions throughout the week asking for a resolutions. After review Capital One determined that their terms of service give them the right to suspend a card for suspicious activity at any time for security purposes, a point that was not under question. I completely agree and am thankful for a bank ensuring transactions are valid and as was explained to Capital One that is not the source of my complaint. My complaint revolves around the understanding that when a bank or its systems are the sole cause and trigger for the flagging/suspension of access to consumer funds, there should be an immediate or near immediate method of resolution to verify the transaction and allow the customer to access their funds so that dangerous situations like the above do not occur. Capital One alleges they sent an email for verification which I did receive almost 3 hours later ( time was also confirmed by representative on recorded line ), however at that time the reservations had already been lost and the financial damage already onset. If a bank intends to enact their ability to suspend access to funds, they should also be held to a reasonable expectation of resolution of the matter within a few minutes or tens of minutes. The suspension system is automated, the resolution email was automated, and thus the time differential is really unacceptable. As the head of a technology department myself, I understand this is a very reasonable expectation. If there are challenges preventing this from occurring, the bank should at least provide a system to be able to verify those transactions and garner access to funds upon the customers request. Citing a provision from a page in the terms and conditions hidden in a scroll box from 5 years ago is not an excuse for being held accountable to resolving the decision to enact that provision.

Complaint: HI & HOW ARE YOU DOING? I'm perplexed about the way this collection account is reporting with multiple variations among all the 3 credit bureaus. Several Errors and violations the way it's reporting, such as the date of last activity, date opened, balance, etc. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Complaint: Since XXXX my family has been dealing with Capital One in regards to a payment that was made to a car dealership that OWNS a car. They have the title and they are listed as the OWNER of the car in questions. Capital One states that they can not take a verbal confirmation for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX New Jersey stating that they dealer is the owner. Instead they state that they need something in writing. Rather than ASK the dealer for a copy of the TITLE, they are asking me, which by STATE law I can not get. This has been going on for months and capital one refused to ask the dealer who they have paid for the title. A simple phone call. As a result the dealer has ownership of the car and my money. As this while I am stuck without a car to take my XXXX month old baby to doctor appointments.

I file chapter XXXX and was discharge after successful completing my payments and capital one went on my credit report a negative remark. I went to chapter XXXX XX/XX/2015. Before I went I was making payments arrangement through XXXX and XXXX to pay capital one which they transfer the account to a third party. Once I went to BK they decided to comeback and update my credit report in a negative way. Its been 3 years and 2 months since I had a negative remark.
