Problem getting a working replacement card
Complaint: During my first day ( XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ) of employment at XXXX XXXX, the HR ( XXXX XXXX ) asked me to fill up few formality papers. I have no idea that they ( XXXX XXXX ) asked me something via which they can open a XXXX XXXX Store credit card in my name.
XXXX XX/XX/XXXX was my last day at XXXX XXXX. I handed over the employee badge to XXXX XXXX ( Human Resources ) around XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX XXXX told me that I will be getting the replacement Credit card ( within 30 days ) as the employee card is also the store credit card.
Till now - after 30 days - I haven't received my replacement credit card.
It's a fraud to get the credit card opened in somebody's name like that. It seems XXXX XXXX which is almost on the verge of bankruptcy somehow want to show that still new customers are opening the credit cards to show some spike in sales.
And worst thing - why XXXX XXXX is making poor employees open up the credit cards at the first place?
This scam and fraud is as big as what world saw few years back ( when XXXX XXXX opened some fake accounts for the customers ).
I never ever used this credit card ( which i am not aware how come it got opened ). I closed my house in XX/XX/XXXX and due to some of these recent activities ( applying for the credit card in XX/XX/XXXX ) proved to be fatal for me as I end up paying higher interest rates.
I never ever received any statement for this credit card - not at my postal address or on the email address ( Work or personal ).
Where does this ghost credit card went?
I never got any card member agreement or FYI from this credit card which talks about it's terms and conditions.
There seems to be some big fraud going on it seems.
I believe Capital One is the credit card issuer for XXXX XXXX. Capital One should have some standards and protocols ( rules ) in terms of which kind of companies or merchants they need to partner to issue the credit card. Every credit card application is a hard inquiry to a candidate. If there is a massive fraud going on like this - it should be investigated. Card issuer as well as the merchant should be investigated in this matter.

Complaint: I called in to ask for an extension from Capital One Auto Finance on XX/XX/XXXX. I asked the representative to have my XX/XX/XXXX for the extension. She replied what month are you attempting to do the extension for. I replied " XXXX '', She replied " you are approved for the extension we will move your date from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX ''. She further went to say that in order for me to keep my approval for this extension I had to pay my car note by XX/XX/XXXX. I told her that I was did not want my credit affected.
I take my credit very serious and I have made all my payments for both accounts on time for the over a year. I immediately setup the electronic payment for XX/XX/XXXX. On the same day, I was assessed two {$25.00} fees on my account and a late payment appeared on all three of my credit reports XX/XX/XXXX.
The representative never said that I could not get the extension for that month I requested. Upon calling the resolution department speaking with XXXX he informed me that my extension was for the month of XXXX not XXXX. He also stated calling XX/XX/XXXX was too late for the month of XXXX, which was not 30 days late. That made no sense to me as the customer because that was the month I originally inquired about. Im completely shocked by what I was seeing because it made no sense to me as the customer who made payment arrangement for an extension and I paid 4 days prior to the date to be marked late. I would like to keep a positive relationship with Capital One Auto Finance. My credit well-being is my livelihood and primary concern. I am planning on making purchases in the near future. I am very responsible with my credit and I take it very seriously.
I mentioned several times on the phone call that I want to keep my account current.
At no time was I redirected to any other department to ensure my credit reporting would be accurate. My current credit report is saying late +30 days for the month of XX/XX/XXXX, when in fact that payment was moved to the end of the loan as the paper states. I have never been late on any payments.

On XX/XX/XXXX of this year an unknown person went to my local post office and fraudulently submitted mail forwarding from my home to : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Fl XXXX On the same day an account with Capital One was opened in my name. I have never had, do not have, nor have I ever applied for any product with Capital One.
On XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One contacted me via letter requesting further information about what they claimed was my application, funny, perhaps they have should done that before they gave up {$32000.00} and ruined by credit, and created distrees, anxiety, and massive inconvenience, affecting my personal and professional life. I learned that someone opened this account and charged over {$32000.00} to it. No payments were ever made.
My credit score has dropped over 200 points.
Capital One has promised to resolve the issue but it still appears on my credit. They have been very difficult to work with. I cant understand how they would give so much money out in my name without bothering to confirm my identity thoroughly.

Problem during payment process
Complaint: To whom this may concern, I have three late payments on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. The card issuer is capitol one. The reason for the miss payments is due to the fact I am not informed on technology and I dont understand how to use them. The Reason why the banker told me to set up an automatic payments for the capital one platinum for the convince and the fact that Im too old to understand technology. There was a miscommunication within the banker who told me that my minimum payment was only $ XXXX monthly. So I made the automatic payment in the amount of {$20.00} a month when the actual minimum payment is {$25.00} at the time. I found out when I received the late payments appeared on my credit report-and I contacted Capital One and explain the situation they could not help me even though their banker helped me set up the minimum payments that caused this whole issue but now it needs resolving. This has caused a spectrum of issues in my credit affecting my life style and my family. Please help me.

Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 I paid for XXXX services to XXXX XXXX XXXX to prepared and process my XXXX with the state of GA and the IRS. I was sent and email with the articles and by laws that were prepared along with a receipt of the XXXX filing. My application was rejected the first time and had to be resubmitted. While the XXXX went through the paper work in not properly showing me as the XXXX of which as of today needs to me corrected. I have made multiple attempts to contact XXXX XXXX the preparer and have not been successful with making contact or receiving a return call.After receiving no response from Ms XXXX I disputed the charge with XXXX XXXX my credit card company in the amount of {$440.00} for incomplete services. I could not open a bank account with they paper work she prepared because it was inefficient. Mrs XXXX also sent a prefilled application to me alleging that she was sending it to the IRS and I should receive my correspondences from the IRS within 4-6 weeks. After not hearing anything I called the IRS to check on the filing, and they have no record of it being submitted. I call twice just to make sure.
Ms XXXX disputed the charge and in her response she claims that she didn't know that the {$270.00} filing fee had not gone through, how ever she never provided a confirmation of receipt of filing as she did with the incorporation. In her dispute she alleges that her paper work was sufficient, and it is not. I don't have any thing filed with the IRS, My paper work is invalid, I can not open up a bank account until somethings are corrected with my incorporation.
Capitol One has returned the funds to Ms XXXX despite the admission in her email regarding the {$270.00} filing IRS fee, and a letter from the Manager of XXXX XXXX of which I provided regarding their review of of my paper work from their business dept in my attempt to open an account. The asked me to provide something in writing from a financial institution and I did. On. XX/XX/2018 I spoke with XXXX Customer ID XXXX was on the phone tirelessly trying to resolve this issue for the 3rd time. Since our conversation, The Charge of {$540.00} appeared to have been re billed on my card 4 times. This is financial XXXX.Anyone seen reviewing my account that this is not an error, my account has been mishandled since this dispute and I am very disappointed. My balance is not above my credit limit and I can't afford to with my work and school schedule to try an battle with a customer service representation that has no compassion, lack of understanding, and won't help me get my account and my dispute resolved.
I am in need of assistance at another level, I want this to go to the corporate level so they can here my complaint. I have asked that this matter be escalated and to to avail I have not heard from the next level management.

Complaint: Placed an order XX/XX/18 for {$640.00}. I was to receive {$110.00} Kohls cash and XXXX rewards points. Kohls canceled the purchase without notice at all. When I call it takes about 30 mins to reach someone, which I rarely have time to do. Finally I reached someone who placed my order. Unfortunately she did not restore my points earned nor did she reinstate the {$110.00} kohls cash. That was early XX/XX/XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and the chairs were delivered ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and the billing cycle closed XXXX. I did not receive a bill until yesterday ( XX/XX/XXXX ) - likely because the purchase was not finalized until this billing cycle.
Now Ive received a statement confirming no rewards points and no Kohls cash and applying a {$27.00} late fee {$14.00} in interest for chairs that were just received.
I called 3 times today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) while extremely ill. First I was told that bc I will not provide my social ( to someone outside the country ) I am refusing to verify my account so I can call back. When I demanded a supervisor I got an unnamed voicemail after leaving the voicemail the call was terminated.
Second call, the rep extorted me by telling me unless I make a {$74.00} payment he will not remove the fraudulent late fees and interest charges. I went over it with him 5 times and he refused to say anything other than once you make the payment I will see about the charges.
The third rep says they can not help with Kohls cash or rewards. I asked for a supervior and was told they are busy. I told him I already left a voicemail.
XXXX the collections supervisor finally told me that I was in the wrong department but that my account is delinquent, completely ignoring the prior 18 mins of explaining I had done, so she transferred me to another endless hold line.
I was transferred to someone named XXXX who is not a supervisor. She had to transfer me back collections.
Now transferred back to person # XXXX XXXX. She claims that once they receive my payment they will remove the late and interest fees. It took 3 hours to accomplish this.
This is outright fraud what they are doing. They are enticing consumers to buy goods on the false promise of receiving Kohls cash and rewards points but never award them. They are also charging interest for purchases that have never been fulfilled.
Upon further review, I was not awarded points for a transaction on XX/XX/18 for a {$540.00} purchase either.
Every {$100.00} spent generates a {$5.00} reward. I have spent nearly {$1200.00} this year, which should get me {$60.00} in reward points. I have a balance of XXXX points somehow.
I paid {$530.00} through my bank today which is $ XXXX- {$110.00} ( Kohls cash stolen ) - {$27.00} ( fraudulent late fee ) - {$14.00} ( fraudulent late fees ).
I have the last 3 calls recorded and screen shots to prove all of the above and video at my home of the chairs being delivered XX/XX/XXXX

Complaint: My husband and I are applying for a home equity loan. XX/XX/XXXX Property Report shows judgement on XX/XX/XXXX Capital One Bank {$800.00} in my name XXXX XXXX.
We filed Chapter XXXX bankruptcy XX/XX/XXXX Listed on the final report and account is Capital One Bank ( secured ) Our case was completed on XX/XX/XXXX.
We received a plan completion report on XX/XX/XXXX stating that the Trustee has received enough money to pay ALL claims to the fullest extent required by the confirmed plan and other orders of the court.
I called Capital One bank explaining this to them, asking for a letter of release, proof of paid, something ... .anything so that we can file it and also give a copy to our loan officer. They informed me that no accounts with my SSN were in their records so they asked me to go through this huge long process with their Credit Dispute Dept.
Send a letter backed by documents which will take up to 30 days to process then 14 more days to receive a letter of their decision.

Complaint: Capital One has been applying my payments late which is leading to several delinquencies on my credit report. They are reporting my payments as 31 days late when the payments are being within 30 days or less. This is inaccurate reporting and illegal. I have tried multiple times to remedy the problem with them to no avail. I am now demanding that all late entries be removed from my file or I will be forced to seek further action based on damages incurred to credit profile due to their erroneous and haphazard reporting.

Complaint: I am having an ongoing dispute with Kohls department stores. I did not receive a statement in XX/XX/XXXX consequently the account fell delinquent and was reported to the credit bureau for being late. I caught up my payment in XXXX then in XXXX did not receive another statement again. Having 40+ accounts I pay monthly I did not realize that the statement did not arrive. When a Kohls representative called me on an XXXX recorded line to inform me of my late payment after confirming my identity she questioned me on my address. She asked me if I lived at XXXX XXXX XXXX, I explained to her no I did not I live at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Her response was oh lets change that. I asked her if she had to XXXX XXXX XXXX as my mailing address and she confirm to me that yes she indeed did. I further went on to suggest that because they had the wrong address I should not be held accountable for the in accurate information reported to the credit bureau as I have never lived at that address and Ive only lived at this address for 6+ years. The representative assured me that she would notify the credit reporting agencies that they had inaccurate information and that it was an internal kohls error and Would rectify the situation. She suggested that I contact the credit reporting agencys & file a dispute which I did. Several weeks later I received a letter from Kohls stating that the information that was reported to the credit bureau agencies was correct no changes would be made. As a result of this erroneous error my credit score has dropped 53 points. And my previous OnTime payment history that used to be 100 % is now at 99 %. It is important to note that I have had this account since XX/XX/XXXX with no previous late fees and no negative or delinquent payment & To date this is the only negative remark on my entire credit report. Prior to that I have never had any incidences of late fees or negative reporting to the credit reporting agencies. Kohls refuses to rectify the problem, it is unfair to me as a consumer that my credit should drop 53 points and I should have this negative information that is an accurate on my credit report. I am considering legal action and I today am meeting with a attorney to secure counsel to begin the process of taking them to court to file for punitive damages and defamation. I really dont want that I only want the negative tomorrow marks removed from my credit report. Any help that you can supply is greatly appreciated. It is also important to note that I have contacted the residents Who reside at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX and have asked them if they ever received letters from Kohls for me and they confirmed that they have. Since they did not know the person whos mail that was they just discarded it in the trash they have agreed to write up a document stating that and once I have that I will submit that as further proof that indeed the mail billing statements was truly sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX mass in correctly.

Complaint: I have one existing Capital One Card. About 2 years ago, I called the credit card company and asked them to lower my Interest rate. I believe that my credit score was in the mid-700 's. At that time, I had two Capital One cards and had paid off these cards a few time with large sums of money paid. I believe that this company has been discriminating against me for some time. When they refused to lower the Interest rate the first time, I had that Bank canceled one of my cards. After I canceled that card, I began to get harassed by this bank in regards to my online activity where I would pay the amount owed. The Credit Card online account on numerous time had my password being changed, and I had to wait long periods to get it taken care of. I filed a Banking Complaint against them more than once. What can you do to assist me?

Complaint: I was not working for a short time over the summer but was staying up on my payments. I did not realize I had a couple return payments and when I went to make a payment today ( XX/XX/2018 ) Capital One ( credit card ) informed me they had closed my account on XX/XX/XXXX and I was not aware of this. I also spoke with a customer service representative less than a week before this and was never once informed my account could be closed or would be closed if this was not taken care of.
I let them know I was calling to make a payment and wanted to take care of any issues on the account. They said they were happy to take my payment but could not make any promises that the account would be reopened. This does not make any sense.
The issue is why would I or anybody want to make a payment and take care of the account if they are not going to reopen it. I would prefer for it not to go to collections for 7 years and get written off but I also am not going to make a payment if they are not going to reopen the account. The lady did say there is a chance they would reopen the account after payment is made but they could not make any promises.
The only options available to me were to make a payment and see if they reopened the account or to not make any payments at all and just let the account stay closed for good and just let the collections go which is ok by me if that's how Capital One does business. If they are not willing to reopen the account than I don't think it makes any sense for anybody to continue to make payments. It seems to make sense though for Capital One to allow me to pay on the card and reopen the account and it would be a win win for everybody. Instead we aren't getting anywhere and there is no real winner.
