Complaint: I have submitted complaints regarding CapitalOne and Master Card. My credit score was up until today XXXX now without notice or fault of my own my credit score decreased XXXX points as of today XX/XX/2018. XXXX and XXXX report this decrease I feel this is in retaliation for filing a complaint. I can find no reason for the significant decrease in credit score which is in my opinion highly unusual and irregular decrease.I have reviewed the credit reports and note no significant changes with the exception of one account not considered new and a small increase in amount of credit available. XXXX and XXXXare responsible for collecting and maintaining consumer credit reports in the U.S. These reports are then provided to subscribers, such as landlords, mortgage lenders and credit card companies. Lenders use these reports and credit scores to decide whether or not to extend me credit, it leaves a lot of room for interpretation. This recent credit score decrease, negatively impacts my opportunities viewed by lenders who are deciding whether or not to extend me credit. The instant decrease would be a RED FLAG, even though I pay on time and current.

I have no contract with XXXX XXXX also account with this company I am demanding this fraudulent account removed from my credit. I called spoke with a collector XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX & was given no mini Maranda which is required by the FDCPA {$1000.00} violation. Called again XX/XX/XXXX XXXX s/w another collection no Mini Miranda ( violation ) I was told they found my theft report but doesn't see the page with this account only the other account they removed? Both where on the same police report & theft report

Accounts closed due to collection accounts being paid off or collection accounts being removed. As a result, I lost 30 points on my credit report which I have maintained for XXXX for over 10-15 years and increased it to XXXX until this occurred. Reporting agencies subsequently changed the status but the creditor did not reopen the account. I did not request closure of account and it has adversely affect my score. Company name is XXXX.

I attempted to make a payment, they refused my payment, and then they began overcharging my account. Complaint: I was involved in a car accident on XXXX. My car was a total loss. I contacted Capital One Auto right away. The balance remaining at date of loss was {$16000.00}. The Insurance Company sent a payment of {$11000.00} on XXXX, the value of the vehicle .Capital One held the payment until XXXX. I called everyday, and was told there was no payment. The Gap Insurance sent a payment of {$4300.00} on XXXX. Capital One did not process that payment until XXXX. Now, I am told I have a balance. I do not wish to pay the balance. Capital One, held the payments to charge me additional interest and fees .. Capital One states balance of {$260.00}. PLEASE HELP.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX. 2018, I realized I lost my CapitalOne Quicksilver credit card while in XXXX, XXXX. I reported the loss to CapitalOne. On XX/XX/XXXX, fraudulent charges ( 10 amounting to {$350.00} ) appeared on my online statement. I reported this to CapitalOne, which subsequently credited back {$430.00}. ( I called back to report discrepancy, but I was told it will be reconciled after investigation ). On XX/XX/2018, I got a call from CapitalOne informing me the case was resolved and no further action is needed from me. However I found out that the same 10 fraudulent items totaling {$350.00} reappeared as XX/XX/2018 entries plus {$6.00} as interest charge. I made several calls to CapitalOne between XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX to resolve issue. Each time I called, a different representative answered and asked the same questions. In short, I am given the run-around.

Complaint: Capital One took {$3600.00} out of my bank account as a payment for one of my credit cards. I did not authorize this transaction. The payment was supposed to only be {$110.00}. I have tried 3 different times to be refunded. They admitted it was their error, contacted my bank to make sure it cleared my account, but now keeps telling me the refund department is behind in their processing. It only took 2 days for them to take the money and it's been 10 days and still no refund. Need help.

Complaint: XXXX has been non-compliant with removing the unverified account XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which has been deleted by XXXX and XXXX. XXXX and XXXX have both completed their research and determined that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was not established by myself but XXXX keeps verifying this accounts. Also, when I called the company they responded that XXXX did not send them all of the verifying evidence to confirm each account is unverified.
