Complaint: Hard Credit Inquiries on my XXXX and XXXX Credit Reports : XX/XX/2017 XX/XX/2017 These are Unauthorized Inquiries, that I still to this day question where this came from I have tried to work this out with Capital One on this and they refuse to Address this situation. I will continue to file complaints from this point forwarded and increase the pressure until they properly address this issue or delete all the hard inquiries off my credit reports. A new complaint will be submitted every 15 days until a resolution is met XXXX AND XXXX : They refuse to even investigate the issue I have asked them many of times and they continue to say its just a record, and that it may be but to me it more than just a record. Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I took out a cash advance in the amount of {$1400.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I made a payment in the amount of {$1400.00}. The minimum payment was {$280.00}, I was under the impression that any amount paid over the minimum would be applied to that portion of my credit card balance with the highest interest rate. When I saw that was not done I called on XX/XX/XXXX and asked if the excess over the minimum payment could be applied to the portion being charged the highest interest, I was told that was not possible.
I thought the Credit Card Act of XXXX made it very possible to pay off the higher interest rate by making a higher than minimum payment.

Complaint: I do not have any credit cards with this company, they are calling 4-6 times a day from numerous phone numbers in XXXX, KY ( XXXX is one of the numbers. I have told them several times to remove the phone number from whoever 's account it is but they continue to call, they tell me they have removed it and the start calling back the following week. This number needs to be removed FOR GOOD and no further calls should be coming to this number XXXX.

Complaint: I have reached out to XXXX XXXX on several occasions to report accounts that are fraudulent as well as the 3 major credit bureaus, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. XXXX removed it per my request and demand, however XXXX won't remove it even though XXXX found it to be fraud and removed said accounts. The account was being reported to my credit multiple times, once by the original creditor, Capital One and then again by the collection agency, XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX fails to cooperate with my request after multiple demands to their letter. They are now in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 623 ( a ) ( 6 ), Section 623 ( a ) ( 9 ), Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ), Section 615 ( f ) for which that reads : Section 623 ( a ) ( 6 ). If a furnisher learns that it has furnished inaccurate information due to identity theft, it must notify each consumer reporting agency of the correct information and must thereafter report only complete and accurate information. Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ). When any furnisher of information is notified pursuant to the procedures set forth in Section 605B that a debt has resulted from identity theft, the furnisher may not sell, transfer, or place for collection the debt except in certain limited circumstances. Section 615 ( f ).

Complaint: I paid off my capital one card and closed this account in XX/XX/2018. all the other credit card companies have been wonderful to work with except for capital One. I was approved for a debt consolidation loan from my bank in XX/XX/XXXX which collected all my statements and mailed out checks paying off my credit cards to a XXXX balance. I DID call all of my credit card vendors informing them they would be receiving a check in the mail to pay off my cards. all my credit cards were paid off in full except for capital One who is being very difficult and not working with me about interest charges or late fees. I did pay my bill on time every month. There was a holiday in between the checks being mailed out and I wish they would have put it in my account so I could have paid these bills off online but that is not how it worked. I called capital One to explain the situation they told me once I close my account all the interest and late fees would betaking off and I would have a XXXX balance which I do have a letter in the mail from capital One saying that I did have a XXXX balance. They now have it on my credit report that I owe them {$71.00} and then charging me late fees and interest charges still to this day over this credit card that was paid off and closed in XX/XX/2018. I do not owe them any money. I called and close this card in XX/XX/XXXX and I am still getting interest charges in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and late fees of XX/XX/2018. I have tried to call them 3 or 4 times and they are very argumentative and not wanting to do away with these charges that I do not owe. please can you do something about this credit card company that does not work with anyone trying to get out of debt. I'm sure the calls are recorded and I know there is one that is recorded saying that the representative told me there would be a XXXX balance after this amount in XX/XX/XXXX was paid off and when I close my account in XX/XX/XXXX that I would have a XXXX balance.

Complaint: Okay so when I started my credit back in XX/XX/2018, on of the card companies I signed up for capital one credit cards, but I had an issue with them, they approved me for one card and not for another. Which is fine, thing is when I called to follow up and make an account, they told me that the social security wasnt matched ( off by one digit ), which is weird because why would my credit take a hit if it was off by one digit? I was told I was going to get a call from them to explain what happend, and never did. Being naive to credit I signed up a few more times and my credit took a hit as result of that. Now Im not looking to see if you guys can help me out, my friend actually referred me to this site recently, I never knew the actual gov does stuff like this, haha explains my naiveness.

Complaint: I applied for 2 Capital One Credit Cards on XX/XX/XXXX, first for a regular card, then for a secured card. I was denied on btoh. In the past, the early XXXX, I had bad credit but I paid off and closed some accounts, paid off past due taxes and waited until other creditors were charged off. Approximately 2 -3 years ago, I began cleaning up my reports, having old addresses taken off, old jobs, and disputed old charges from the XXXX that were still showing, etc. so my credit report should now be clean. During the past decade I had one credit card, Capital One, which I had around XXXX. I closed it shortly after getting it ( I didn't know closing cards was detrimental to your credit score ). Now, I can't get new credit, even though I haven't had anything detriminetal on my account for a decade. My credit reports are now basically zeroed out except for a payday loan which I open around XXXX and which has followed me around since. I paid off/reopened this payday loan dozens of times because I worked a job that didn't allow me to pay my basic needs so I kept reopening in hopes I'd get more money, avoid paying full balance. I must have given them hundreds or thousands of dollars on top of the original {$500.00} or so I took out so I'm not paying more. It's been a decade, it should have dropped off. But instead, the payday company sold it to a recovery company and apparently is showing up as new bad credit, even though I haven't had credit in a decade except for the old capital one card. Capital one says they can't reopen my old account. They also said they can't give me a new card because they didn't get a credit report from XXXX and that this, along with the lack of recent credit history is the reason for my denial. XXXX says Capital One can see my reports. Since they are pointing fingers at each other, I'm filing complaints against the credit card companies and the agencies. I also applied for credit at other companies earlier this year. If I find my denial letters, I will be filing complaints against them too. I've tried talking to the credit agencies but they're impossible to get in touch with. I talk to one but then they tell me to follow up online and the link doesn't work. The other says call this number but it's voice mail only. I'm done. Now, either you handle this or I join one of the class action lawsuits out there. Below is the letter of denial I got from capital one. I got 2, one for a regular card, one for a secured card. So even though I haven't defaulted on anything for a decade and never on anything serious, I can't even get a secured card. That is why I am filing this complaint on Capital One and the agencies, as well as any other credit card companies I got denial letters on. So you'll see multiple complaints. I also attached denial letter from earlier in year from XXXX. I've applied to once or twice in past 12 months, also to XXXX. Also got denials, even after getting raise at my last job. Also, can't get credit from my bank of over a decade XXXX. Even college kids with no credit can get credit, people with horrible credit can get credit at high rates. Something is wrong.

Problem with the interest rate
Complaint: I almost realized that I am paying almost two cars with this line of credit. This was not what I agreed upon at time of signature. Almost 50 % or more of everything I have been paying are to satisfy interest, not the principal, besides this company charges an absurd and abusive fees with increase their gain to the sky! So dishonest and unfair! I feel desperate and frustrated as I already tried many different times to get my money applied for the contract that I signed for, not this abusive mal practice. I am filling this complaint in a hope to find a resort for my complaint with this agency.

Complaint: Starting over two years ago I have been getting credit offers to a person that does not live at my address. I have no idea who XXXX XXXX XXXX is but if he exists he has never lived here.
By returning the mail to the post office most of the many companies have stopped sending offers. However Capital One has proven impossible to solve. I have called them 5 times now with promises the offers will stop and they have not.
I have also submitted a complaint to the XXXX and they responded and said they would stop delivering the unwanted bogus mail. Of course that was useless as well.
I would love to opt out of credit offers but that requires a social security number which of course I do not have.
I have no idea why Capital One would want to waste $ $ $ sending offers endlessly to a non existent person that has not responded. In a delightful twist I was denied a Capital One credit card because they could not validate my identity. I have an XXXX credit score.
I guess they only want to deal with fake people and pre-approve them no less.
My guess is that there is a XXXX XXXX XXXX and they live in XXXX XXXX, Georgia and not XXXX, Georgia. My address is " corrected '' by the XXXX heavily and an inadvertent correction may have started this unsolvable mess.
