Complaint: I am being audited by the IRS for tax years XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX.
I had a credit card relationship with three companies during that time.
Capital One, XXXX XXXX, & XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
I used credit for personal and business purposes. I ran into a tough stretch of time monetariliry that caused me to be late and eventually have to stop paying the credit card companies.
I am currently in collection with all three.
I am asking for credit card statements for XX/XX/XXXX -XX/XX/XXXX for all three companies.
I have mailed certified letters.
Sent email requests and called.
Each time i am either hung up on or transferred to a collection company that keeps me on hold for hours and says they dont have the credit statements.
I was moving my place of business and misplaced all these documents. Now i desparataly need them XXXX XXXX SSN XXXX I am asking for copies of statements from these three companies My wife XXXX XXXX 's SSN XXXX name was on the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX card I have deductions I could prove but am unable and these three companies - due to the fact that i still owe them money refuse to help/acknowledge/assist me in my mission to recover the statements from XX/XX/XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX Please assist me XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NV XXXX my previous business address was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Nv XXXX they may have mailed statements there when i had the cards.

Complaint: This company Captial one auto financial. Company has been abusing reporting on my credit report. They take three months to report good things on my credit. They instantly report bad things on my credit. I notice this in XXXX when I went to look at a new car. Car company ran my report and capital one 3 month behind. I had just paid then XXXX dollars. My car payment is XXXX a month. I called them and paid additional money on my account XXXX. Then I notice that my credit report was not changing. I called and asked them how can I get out of this loan. I informed them that I no longer want to be with this company with a loan. I was told that I had to pay the whole thing. I told them that I could only pay XXXX in XXXX. They told me that my account would be current. Next thing i know the called saying i owe them XXXX. I said I just paid XXXX. They told me that only counted for one month. I told them I was not behind. I was paid up the account. They never honored my XXXX payment. Now they saying I am behind 2 months. However, i would like to know where the XXXX went on my account .my credit score was XXXX and they have taken it down to XXXX. This is unfair practice.

Complaint: Happy holidays everyone, I am writing this note and complaint to warn all military and veterans not to use this company for nothing whatsoever. First of all, Ive always made all of my payments on time and yet they are saying that I had a payment returned two weeks ago when I fully have all the payments made without any returns from my bank account.
I called today XX/XX/XXXX to let them know that they have not released my funds which has been deducted from my bank account, so the agent says that he needs to call my bank to verify. I said go ahead, we did the verification with my bank agent and they said yes the amount have been deducted from my account and that capital one should made my funds available, but yet the agent says that they can not release the funds until 7nto 10 business days. So I ask for a supervisor and when he got on the phone ( XXXX ), also told me that I had a returned check, so I asked him to prove it and yet he couldnt. Because I know I never had a returned check for no reason whatsoever to capital one and I am attaching the screenshots so you can see for yourself. He was like, I can not release the funds.
So tell me people what kind of practice is this method by capital one, I also told them that I need the funds to be released because I am out of the country and I need to make some purchases because that is the only card I have in our possession and yet he was formed on his decision that no no he will not release the funds until the 7th to 10th days. And yet on the capital one application it clearly states that funds will be available the next business day, so what is going on capital one are you that big now that you have a green light to abuse customers. Just shame on you.
I have more complaints which I have more proofs just because I dont have the time and health I said forget it but now this is too much. And yes capital one I have the proofs for everything. Lets go to court and see who will win.

Complaint: There are several wrong addresses that are being reported as mine on my credit profile and also there are multiple capital one and XXXX hard inquirys I have not done back to back and lastly there is a {$300.00} medical expense that was reported and that is not my bill. I was not in Florida at the time of the opening date of the file. Also that one medical report and credit card checks brought my score down 101pts in just a few days. I am very upset and need this fixed immediately. There is fraudulent activity going on and also false very negative affective reports

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I received an alert via email from XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, regarding a change in my credit score. The change came from Capital One, which came with a {$300.00} credit limit and was cancelled on XX/XX/2018 @ XXXX XXXX. The card was also destroyed on that date and I was responsible for the remaining balance. After making a {$200.00} payment, I was informed ( after asking the right questions ), that there were additional charges of late fees and interest. When I closed the account and destroyed the card, it was my understanding that only the remaining balance was owed. This since I no longer had a physical card to use, it was explained to me that the remaining was all that was owed. Capital One has charged {$280.00} in late fees and interest on a closed account. In speaking with representatives, who were unprofessional, combative and confrontational. Also refusing to provide adequate information, choosing to refer me to a P.O. Box to send complaints. After again calling and attempting to escalate the call on XX/XX/2018. I was again given the run around as to my original cancel/closing dates. Choosing me to write in to complain. It is my hope that CFPB can assist me to expose this suspect and shady company and their horrible bank practices.

Complaint: For the past two years, I have had a credit score of over 780. I had never missed a payment, ever. I have two open credit cards, one is a Cabelas Credit Club Card. I rarely used the card, only using it for emergencies. I have never had a late payment on it. When Capital One took over Cabelas Credit Club Card in early XX/XX/XXXX, they magically found a charge on my card from XX/XX/XXXX that was not paid. It is XX/XX/XXXX, and my credit score was never impacted by this/this information never existed for two years. However, when Capital One took over, my credit score dropped 100 points to XXXX. I called Capital One, and I paid the balance of {$13.00} and closed the account. I am looking to buy a house and while my credit score is still good, it is not where it once was. It is just frustrating that this charge was " found '' this year. Nothing was done to remedy my credit score.

Complaint: First of all, XXXX XXXX calls me repeatedly from different phone numbers. I block a number, and they call from a different one. Not only that, but they called me just a minute ago on XXXX eve!!! I've had enough already. I'm tired of them using MY cell phone minutes that I have paid for. This company is already in trouble for their collection practices. I'm wondering if I can join in that lawsuit. The debt I owe to the original credit card company was bought by XXXX XXXX which means it was paid off. I don't feel it's my obligation to pay a debt that they chose to buy from another company for much less than they're trying to collect from me.

Complaint: I disputed transactions thet were credited back to my account and the rep did not cancel my card afterward. my account was left open and incurred more fraudulent charges that were credited back to my account recently and now i still cant use my card because Capital One has not taken the hold off of my available credit limit.
This has been over a week since credit was applied to my account and I am needing to use my credit card. I am not supposed to be held liable for these transactions and that is what is happening. I already have replacement card i just the hold released so that i can use my available credit.
