Complaint: I am enrolled in auto-pay with a Capital One MasterCard account, I have noticed to distinct problems after reviewing my statements : 1 ) Even though my auto-payment is scheduled, processed and submitted on the date due, I have now on multiple occasions been charged a late fee. 2 ) Most recently the auto-payment that was submitted happened to be below the " minimum payment required '' and thus a 30 day late* was posted on my credit report. The relief I would request is simply removal of said information from my credit report, if this can not be accomplished I would like to pursue further action and potential litigation as I am sure I am not the only consumer effected by these practices.

Complaint: I have been trying to close my Savings Money Market account for almost three weeks. There were pending transactions. I had to call Capital One Bank 4 times, every three days to close my account. After two weeks of request to close my account, the account was finally closed and a final check was cut for the balance remaining in the account ( {$50000.00} ). I patiently waited for the check to arrive, deposited the check into my personal savings account in another institution, and waited for seven days for the check to clear. Today, XX/XX/2018, I received notification that the final check issued by Capital One Bank was denied/rejected by Capital One for no reason. I immediately called and spoke to a manager in the customer service department and was not provided a reason or an explanation for Capital One Banks actions. I was not provided with an expected date of resolution. I was not provided with any options for resolution. In the meantime, I do not have access to over {$50000.00} of my money, am loosing potential interest my money can be earning, owe {$34.00} for a return check and {$34.00} for insufficient funds in my account. All this negative impact has occurred to no fault of my own, but Capital One Bank. I still do not have a resolution and would be greatful for any help your organization can provide.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, I called Capital One to advise I would be submitting a payment for {$80.00} to keep my account current. The representative said she would note the account. I paid the {$80.00} and it was credited to my account. Towards the end of XXXX going into XXXX, I got an alert saying on my credit report, that Capital One had reported it 30 days late with a past due amount of {$3.00}. I immediately got on the live chat with someone to advise of the call I made and that the rep did not tell me any different when I said {$80.00}. They did not tell me {$83.00} was the correct amount. Because I would have paid {$3.00} more. The rep on the chat advise he would have it investigated and corrected. I never heard anything from Capital One so I assumed it was corrected. I pulled my credit report again and it was still showing, so I disputed it with all 3 bureau and Capital One is still coming back saying it was 30 days late and this 1 late payment has ruined my credit because they failed to report the account was not 30 days late. Capital One need to contact all credit bureau to advise that the account was not 30 days late as I was not advised to pay {$83.00} when I called to let them know I would be paying {$80.00}. All of this is happening over a {$3.00} discrepancy and misinformation that was given to me. Please have my credit report corrected as soon as possible as I never had any problems with Capital One. I can not believe this has ruined my credit over a so called {$3.00} past due amount when I made the payment for {$80.00} as advised.

Complaint: Capital One Credit Cards Capital One practices credit discrimination against women. I had a Capital One credit card for over ten years and could never get a credit line more than {$700.00} even though my credit score is over 700. I paid this card off. My XXXX has a separate Capital One Credit Card. I called to get the interest rate reduced as they will only reduce interest for 7 months at a time then you have to request another interest rate reduction. His personal card interest was reduced from 21.99 % to 17.9 %. A week later without asking, this Separate card line of credit gets automatically increased by {$1300.00} We have a Joint Capital One Credit Card, I asked for an interest rate reduction on this card that I use and they would only reduce the interest from 24.65 % to 20.65 % for 7 months. I asked why is that both credit cards can't be at the same 17.9 % and their answer was it's based on the credit score when account was originally and that they never pull new credit scores to give you a better interest rate. NOTE : This card was not offered a credit line increase. I think Capital One 's records of credit offered to women need to be reviewed for discrepancies in credit offered to men. This would be to show the difference in Line Of Credit and interest rates offered to both.

Complaint: Dear Director Of Operations, After talking several times to the customer service department they failed to correct my concerns! One they failed to add a authorized user to my account. Two seem not to be able to credit payment properly to the account that currently has a XXXX balance after two payments posted. Three have a freeze on the account after they have been provided proof of said payment and processes. Please have someone correct these issues and complete the update to the account immediately. CPA has verified all has properly been done on my end as a card-holder per the agreement provided upon enrolling with this bank. If, they can't proceed to complete these simple requests very fast close the account.

Complaint: please refer to complaint No. XXXX XXXX XXXX v Capital one ( credit card ) my complaint is about Capital One, due to theirs abusive collections activities, in XXXX when my funds run out after a bank robbery that happened at work I happened to be the Branch Manager which by the way my employer has not taken responsibility for the incident. and after I explained the situation to capitol one, they promise to work with me ( but capitol one was demanding money that I didn't have ) I keep communication with the rep who was calling me and sideling I was sue. I have copy and paste the activity with the XXXX County Metropolitan Court, I also feel that the process was misleading due to how I was served documents, I have attached a file for your review ( Capitol one sent documents that were not file with the court ) please compare to what is was sent in the complaint number above. after these experience I learned that Capital One intentionally sent documents that weren't file with court causing me to believe it was too late to do anything for example after getting documents about a judgement, about a deposition, and when I called the court the court refer me to the law office ( left many voice mails without getting a call back } the law office who is listed as representing capitol one would not speak to me to give me information it almost felt like they had no intensions of working with me for example I spent a lot time calling them to make payments arrangements even after the judgment by error I was transfer to the attorney where he was obligated to transfer me to the gentlemen who is handling my case ( when made payments arrangements I was promise in writing about the payments arrangements I have not received anything and again I keep leaving voice mails never gotten a call back ) and by the way I have being making payments on this account, but none of the payments are being reported to credit report. I ALSO WANT TO ADD THE EVENT AFTER THE JUDGEMENT ON XX/XX/XXXX. Problem with balance transfer
Complaint: Capital One has a computer glitch which they are not disclosing to credit card users. Capital One made a zero percent balance transfer offer to consumers. Consumers who opted for the offer had the balance transfers show on their statements as a new purchase ( instead of balance transfer at 0 % ) and billed/charged 19.65 %. Capital One says it will take one to two months to fix the glitch. While Capital One works on their glitch, consumers are being told that they must make the minimum payment as due with the zero percent balance transfer being billed as a new purchase at 19.65 %. Capital One is not offering any options to consumers saying only they had a glitch which they have failed to notify credit card users about.
