Complaint: I have one late payment reported o credit report it is from Capital One Credit Card in XX/XX/XXXX. I sent in a check ( # XXXX ) from my XXXX business account on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$1000.00} it was never cashed until XX/XX/XXXX. I am unsure what happened if maybe it got misplaced in capital one mail-room or something but if the check would have been applied to my account on time I would have avoided the late payment and the interest charges for that many months on the {$1000.00}.

Complaint: I have set up to pay automatically my credit card minimum payments. Despite choosing the minimum amount due for the auto pay, the credit card company tried to withdrawal my full balance which got returned. Now they closed down my account for returned payments! I have made aware a representative about my issue but they didn't want to reinstate.
This must have been an issue with my app because I got the full amount in addition to the {$25.00} minimum payment due.
Now this error is causing me to get a hit on my score! Please help resolve this.

When I say relentless- I mean Ive received 42 calls in the last two hours.

The worst part is that Ive already explained to them that I didnt miss a payment, it was incorrectly attributed to my account. I pay my balance every month and have had cards with them for 16 years. This will be the last year.

Complaint: There were multiple fraudulent charges on my Capital One credit card on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/2019. Capital One reimbursed me for all but one. It was a duplicate charge for {$460.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I disputed the charge with Capital One and it was denied. I also contacted XXXX and they referred me to Capital One. Additionally, I submitted a letter to Capital One on XX/XX/2019 detailing their error.
Documentation provided by XXXX shows that products were picked up in XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX, NY. I live in New Jersey in the vicinity of 3 XXXX stores. Why would I travel to New York to purchase and pick up products? This was clearly identity theft.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX WE purchased 2 roundtrips tickets of {$720.00} each as a wedding gift to our daughter and her future husband, to be used after their marriage on XX/XX/XXXX. Paid with Capital One venture card. We bought the tickets thru XXXX with XXXX XXXX.
My wife is telling the story now with my permission because she was there.
On XX/XX/XXXX at approx. XXXX XXXX - I Mrs. XXXX, my daughter and her husband were at the XXXX, XXXX airport checking in. My check in -went fine, my daughters also ( both USA citizens ) but when my son in law was checking in, a problem came up, even thou he had a passport and was excepted to travel to the USA , he also needed a travel document which the call a ESTA document. The Electronic System for Travel Authorization ( ESTA ) is an automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program. We were directed to the counter, applied, paid XXXX EURO plus XXXX dollars charged. He was approved and returned to the check in counter. They skipped us and took care of other passengers, time was running out, we finally were next as the agent was putting my son in laws travel document information, they said it was not accepting it, so skipped us again and took care of more travelers. I ran to the check in gate in tears or would of lost the flight, my daughter stayed behind, not knowing what was happing to her husband, not wanting to leave on her honeymoon without him!!!
They end up losing the flight because they were told something was wrong with the system not excepting the document. My daughter said they didn't even try, the minute they informed them they had lost their flight. My daughter and son in law then after about an hour went upstairs to the travel agent and REPURCHASED new tickets with the money they made from the wedding. They had an organized honeymoon here in the US and needed to be here within 2 days or would lose the honeymoon package. Funny how the travel document worked and was excepted not even an hour later. And the travel agent even checked them in right away.
When I arrived in the US, I contacted XXXX, told them what had happened, for about two weeks I spoke to them everyday, they contacted XXXX '' XXXX and XXXX told XXXX - it was documented that my son in law did not have a travel document, and was a " no-show '' Not having any results with XXXX, we contact our credit company, told them the story and put in the dispute. a couple days later Capital One Venture credited us for the tickets but we needed to write a letter explaining what happened. We did, and they answered the same way. NO TRAVEL DOCUMENT-NO SHOW the letter also said, they needed some proof to support the dispute.
Meanwhile they put the charges back into our card.
We were able to find the TRAVEL DOCUMENT issued that morning, was approved at XXXX XXXX. I sent the copy to Capital One, explaining that " THIS '' document is the proof that there was time for them to board the flight, because the flight was at XXXX ; XXXX.
First they did not understand that The copy I sent WAS THE TRAVEL DOCUMENT even thou I wrote it and circled the writing were it said TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION, they thought it was a ticket! Stressed and aggravated, hours on the phone I then asked to speak to a supervisor. At first she was surprised to see the document was really the travel document, she said I need to put you on hold. after a long pause her answer was : In order for us to request credits from the merchant when we can document that the merchant violated an operating rule or regulation. AND the dispute is " Time sensitive and so unfortunately we are unable to continue the dispute.
They asked for proof, I gave them the proof, and they ignored the truth versus the lie. The Offered us half of one ticket. We refused the offer. Never will buy a ticket thru XXXX, Will never definitely fly XXXX ever again, they are the rudest people on earth. And as for Capital One, very disappointed. We will close our card with them also.

Complaint: OnXX/XX/2018, I opened an account with Capital One Auto Financed. The account is still open but almost fully paid. I got a missed payment on my XXXX and XXXX credit report stating that this account missed a payment in XX/XX/2018.However, i had sent the money on time using my XXXX XXXX account on the date that i was supposed to pay them {$510.00}. The money got cleared after a couple of days and Capital One left a negative item on my report after i already paid them on time.
Right now 91 % of this loan is already paid.

Complaint: To whom it may concern : On or about XX/XX/19 I contacted CapitalOne to inform them of an issue regarding a refund that I was waiting for, in the amount of {$400.00}, from a total charge of {$440.00}, charged by : XXXX, CA XXXX Purchased : Tue, XX/XX/2019 Posted : Thu, XX/XX/2019 Purchased By : xxxxxx Appears on statement as : XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX USA. I received the refund, in the form of a check, on approximately XX/XX/19. In the interim, Capitalone offered to redeposit {$400.00} towards my Mastercard, however they were remiss in disclosing that they would be contacting the merchant or withdrawing {$400.00} from the merchant 's bank. Had they done so, I would have declined to receive the credit. I contacted CapitalOne by phone and spent more than two hours with their representatives, attempting to cancel and withdraw the complaint, and reapply the {$400.00} charge to my account, however they refused to do so. They are forcing me to wait until the merchant responds, even though I have, as the account holder and consumer requested otherwise. This is absolutely unnecessary, and it is harmful to me, as I continue to do business with this merchant.

Account Status : CLOSED XXXX XXXX RE : Account Ending in XXXX Actions : Account was closed at credit grantor 's request. Account was closed for no specific reason listed in terms and conditions. Closure resulted in negative remark on my credit report. Both cards were in good standing XXXX, XXXX, and current. I continue to pay a closed card and have not strayed away from my debt obligation with Capital One. However, this card was closed with no specific reasons. I filed a grievance with Capital One and all they can say is that it was an 'internal decision ' and they reserve the right to close the account. Fine! I can deal with that however they should not have the right to negatively impact my credit worthiness especially if I am paying on time and no derogatory remarks on my credit profile were ever listed by Capital One, not a 30, 60, or 90 remark since XXXX. My complaint is that I should not be held in a negative light since I have been making consistent payments to both cards and even paid off one card and I am continuing to pay more than minimum on the last card to bring down the balance to XXXX. Based on the FCRA, I feel that my right ( s ) has been violated.

Complaint: I received a notification from Capital One on an account ending XXXX that XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX reported the account as fraud. Causing Capital One to close the account. I never claimed this or any other account was fraud. As a matter of record the communications I sent specifically requested they NOT place fraud alerts on my credit. And only that they investigate the accounts I specified. This Capital One account was not among the disputed accounts. Capital One is allowing known mistakes like this rather than contact the customer. Looking on the internet reveal that Capital One is well aware of this issue with the credit bureaus. Why is Capital One not requesting a copy of the customer fraud claim from the credit bureaus. It's took UNVERIFIED action against me ... And that without a call to me ...
