Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed Capital One a signed letter, which included the account number, requesting to close my 360 Savings account. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the account has still not been closed.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I transferred the account balance out of the account, leaving the account with a XXXX balance. The account did not automatically close as is standard at many banks. Capital One does not provide any self-service options on their website for closing this account. Capital One does not offer secure chat or a secure messaging system through which I can close this account. I called the customer service phone number twice, waited on hold for several minutes, and was ultimately unable to speak with a representative because the wait time was so long that I could not continue to wait because of a serious family medical situation. Since there was no convenient way for me to close the account, I resorted to sending a signed letter on XX/XX/XXXX to the address for servicing 360-branded accounts.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I requested {$10000.00} to be transferred from my Capital One 360 Money Market Account to my brokerage account at XXXX XXXX . The funds were transferred and settled at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX.
Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ), Capital One reversed that transfer. When I contacted their customer service, they can not tell me why the transfer was reversed. Their only solution was that I should wait three to five business days for the funds to post at Capital One and then they can tell me why the transfer was reversed. I asked to speak to a supervisor when I said that was not a satisfactory answer and received the same answer from the supervisor ( XXXX ).
I then requested how I could contact XXXX to follow-up on the issue so I would not have to spend another 30 minutes on the phone regarding this error on their part and he said he does not have any direct contact ability ( no phone extension or e-mail ) so I would just have to call back once the funds settled back at Capital One and start the process over.
I asked to speak to someone higher up as this did not seem like a satisfactory explanation and XXXX said there was no one above him to speak with.
I called XXXX to see if they could stop the transfer and they said the funds had already been transferred to Capital One so there is nothing they could do. They said typically there is a note left to explain why a transfer was reversed and in this case the entire note was just " reversed ''. They also were confused why Capital One needed to wait three to five business days because the funds are already at their institution.

I have told people from this company to stop calling.
I requested that it was my right according to the FDCPA.
On XX/XX/2019 I told one credit collectors named XXXX XXXX. to stop calling.
He told me that my word was good only for 10 days and that I should put in writing.
My last conversation with XXXX XXXX was recorded and he was also notified of those actions. Even though he was polite but he keep insisting of why I was not going to pay this bill. I notified him of my action to come soon. He just ignore me and continue with his attempt to collect the debt. This was The last straw. I tried to put an end to this in a civilize way. I will proceed with legal actions against Mr. XXXX XXXX and his company XXXX XXXX located in XXXX Va. Any other information obtain on this case will be used against them.

Can't use card to make purchases
Complaint: I made a payment to my credit card account with Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of XXXX. It posted the debit to my checking account and I show the credit to the Capital one Account.. I attempted to use the card the next day and the purchase was declined due to lack of available credit. When I called and asked Capital One the customer service rep XXXX advised me that they " hold on to funds '' to make sure they are good before they make the credit available to use on the card. He stated that it could be a few days and it was common practice. The payment was made via ACH so it was not a paper check that was sent in for payment. I am not sure if credit card companies are held to the same standards as banks but shouldn't this be a reg z or cc violation? Needless to say I closed my account but still want someone to follow up because if Capital One is doing this to me then chances are they are doing it to others which would not be a fair practice.

Complaint: I recently sent a notice to your company advising you of the false information that you continue to report on my credit file. The account listed has such erroneous information. A reporting of such is often done to purposefully lower a consumer 's credit score. I requested for you to send me validation BEARING MY SIGNATURE!!!!! You have failed to do so. ( FYI.statements are not proof of validation ) I disputed with the credit bureaus and, I received a notice stating the account was updated. However, the update not only included the same false information but also showed the account was not listed in dispute. I disputed this Capital One account again with the credit bureaus ; the account shown was verified with the same information. Please note I have kept strict and accurate records of all transactions between your company and myself, and the credit reporting agencies and myself. I am fully prepared to present this undisputable information to the court if necessary. This account needs to be removed from my credit files immediately.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX : I opened a joint checking account with my daughter who is in XXXX for the summer. Prior to opening the account I was told if I did an electronic transfer, money would be available in 24-48 hours. Electronic transfer initiated XX/XX/XXXX, funds received XX/XX/XXXX.
XX/XX/XXXX : my daughter called THREE TIMES trying to get them to send her debit card to her in XXXX. Rep # 1 told her to go online and do it herself. After trying that and not being able to input the XXXX address she called back. Rep # 2 puts her on hold and disconnects her. She calls back again and Rep # 3 tells her to send a photo of her passport, which she does. He then tells her he needs to get a manager to finish helping her and puts her on hold. Manager never picks up and she is disconnected again. She is XXXX, away from home on her own, training 12 hours a day for the national team and has just spent 45 minutes of her 1 hour break trying to get help with a simple request. She calls me close to tears for help. I call ( I am the primary account holder ) and they refuse to help. They need to " speak to her directly '' even though the account is in my name as well and I explained to the manager that she does not have the free time to keep calling them. At this point I say I will just find another bank and would like my money returned. This is when he tells me that the funds will not be released until XX/XX/XXXX and I have to wait until then to close the account. So they have taken my money and are holding it several days while they collect interest on it and provide no service in return.
