Complaint: I have got a 30 day late from CapitalOne report on my credit report because I never received my statement on time, after finding out that I had owed them I quickly sent out {$75.00} check with the USPS postal service as a 2 day deliver with tracking number XXXX ( unfortunately usps does not keep tracking longer then 120 days ) but during this time CapitalOne did receive the mail because it showed with tracking it was delivered but for some reason they never applied the credit to my account. After finding this out I quickly paid them over the phone or online I don't remember exactly but it was paid eventually. now they have reported a 30 day late in my credit report which it causing me damages for applying other credit cards that give me higher interest rates do to late being reported. This problem was caused by a chain reaction 1st being not getting the statement then not receiving my check if I didnt have the 1st problem we wouldn't have this problem. I have requested tracking number of the statement with capitalone which they cant provide me. there is no proof that they sent me a statement so I can know what has happen. If they cant remove my 30 day late or so me proof from there end I was late because of my fault then they need to remove the 30 day negative report from my credit report, I have contact them many times only to get a canned response back that its verified and late from there end. Where is your proof its late? Cap1 for the payment late because they never sent me a statement to begin with.

Complaint: After review of my billing I noticed I am being charge two ( 2 ) different interest rate on one balance. One for Interest charge on purchase and one for " Protected Balance '' which I was told was a balance due from last year. This is two different interest rate on the same account with one balance. How can a store credit card be allowed to charge two interest rates on one balance. I don't believe this is legal.

Complaint: I went to a used car dealership on XX/XX/2019 at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX to test out a XXXX on their lot. Met the salesman, test drove it and I loved it. After three hours of negotiating a contract I was able to get the deal and price I wanted. I signed numerous papers and was told my car would be ready in two days so they could detail it.
Two days later I get a call from the manager telling me the car has numerous leaks and they wont sell it to me now, and that its being put up for auction. I told him my family member is a mechanic and Id like to have him look at it, knowing this already seemed fishy. He told me no and that their reputation stands by it. He said I can look at other cars on the lot and get one of those, I told him no, the XXXX was what I wanted and came for and that they should honor my contract or terminate it.
He terminated it. Found out he sold the XXXX to another person. Now, I have all these inquiries on my credit report that I can't get a loan approved for it. Many of these inquiries I didn't authorize.

Complaint: I was shocked when reviewing my credit report and found late payments on the dates below : 30 days late as of XX/XX/XXXX, 60 days late as of XX/XX/XXXX, 90 days late as of XX/XX/XXXX, either 90 or 120 days late as of XX/XX/XXXX, and either 120 days late or no data for XX/XX/XXXX. The inconsistent reporting makes this very confusing. Again they marked me as 30 days late or not in XX/XX/XXXX, either 60 or 90 days late in XX/XX/XXXX, 90 or 120 days late in XXXX, depending on who you ask, and again 120 days late or no data for XX/XX/XXXX! I don't remember paying any late fees or anything, this is truly outrageous!!
I am not sure how this happened. I believe I made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my statements did not get to me.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I mailed and filed a taxable event with the IRS and the US Treasury and gave notices and copies of the taxable event to the Capital One credit card company. A 1040V payment voucher - {$490.00} to the U.S. Treasury and a 1040 to the IRS.
On XX/XX/2019 I receive letter correspondence from Capital One stating, Thanks for contacting us about your Capital One account. We have recently been asked to update the account by a third party. Due to privacy laws, we need your consent to fulfill this request. You can either call to have your request completed or, if you prefer send us documentation showing that the third party has Power of Attorney, or a signed letter of consent, allowing us to release or change your account.
I mailed my letter of consent shortly after receiving the letter. Then on XX/XX/2019 Capital One sent me another letter stating, As requested, we've done the following : We removed your name and address from future Capital One credit offers.
Then on XX/XX/2019, Capital One sent another letter with a credit card offer with the subject as Re : Your account number ending in XXXX. We're happy to provide the MasterCard Platinum benefits you requested.
Since XX/XX/2019 to XX/XX/2019 ; I have called the Capital One customer service telephone line several different times asking Capital One to correct the mistake of closing the account and to re-open the account and to adjust the amount accordingly, but they have failed to reopen the account and have failed to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
On XX/XX/2019 ; I called Capital One general inquires telephone line and spoke with XXXX, employee ID XXXX. XXXX was helpful and investigated the matter further. She stated that the account was closed because of missed payments or having credit over their acceptable limit. She found that I missed one payment but it was a long time ago, so all of my payments were on time. I stated that all of the information Capital One representatives were providing me sound very fraudulent and then she escalated the issue to her supervision, XXXX XXXX ID XXXX. XXXX took my feedback that the account was closed fraudulently and that my payments were mostly all on time and submitted for Capital One team to review the problems and to reopen the account without guarentee.

Complaint: I have a capital one credit card with a XXXX limit. I reported my credit card stolen XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, there was a charge approved by capital one for XXXX that posted to my account. I immediately contacted capital one to dispute. First off, the card was reported stolen, a charge should not have gone through in the first place under any circumstances. And second, the amount approved is 8 times my credit limit.
Their response is that when i signed up for the card, i was automatically opted in for over-limit protection, so it was within capital one 's discretion to approve or decline. The strange thing is just the week prior, the same company attempted a XXXX charge that was declined. So they decline a {$280.00} charge and then the following week they approve an almost {$2300.00} charge.
From what i have read, they should not be allowed to do this. The law seems clear that they should require a separate opt in form/signature, and not have it set to opt in by default.
To sum, my issue is 3 fold.They allowed a charge to go through on a card that was reported lost. On top of that, the amount was ridiculously above and beyond my issued limit. And they are not adhering to the credit act with opt in authorization.
At this time they have removed the charge pending investigation. But there should not be an investigation. The charge should never have been approved in the first place.

XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, collection agency on behalf of Capital One Auto Finance regarding XXXX XXXX XXXX financed by Capital One Auto Finance. Complaint involves Capital One Auto Finance not honoring settlement made with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
I am a XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX while I was driving the XXXX XXXX, I experienced a XXXX XXXX and crashed onto the sidewalk and hit a tree which stopped the vehicle from further destruction. I was XXXX for XXXX days at the Washington XXXX XXXX in Washington, D.C. The cost of the XXXX treatment I received in the XXXX and follow up XXXX treatment I received as an XXXX was substantial. I had to pay XXXX % of the XXXXl bill, co pays for follow up office visits and purchase XXXX. The unexpected substantial XXXX expenses caused a financial hardship for me. Due to the financial hardship I fell behind on my monthly car payment to Capital One Auto Finance.
I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Radius ) stating that the Capital One Auto Finance account was placed with XXXX for collection. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX to negotiate a settlement agreement. XXXX XXXX, representative for XXXX and I came to an agreement of the conditions of the settlement. The conditions were that I would pay {$2000.00} to settle/close the Capital One Auto Finance account in exchange for removal of the account from my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX reports.
Recently upon reviewing my credit reports, I discovered the Capital One Auto Finance account was on my credit reports with an outstanding balance and derogatory tradeline. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to let them know that the Capital One Auto Finance account had not been removed from my credit reports. For some insufficient reason I was no longer able to speak with XXXX XXXX who had entered into the settlement agreement with me. So I spoke with XXXX XXXX with XXXX who told me that XXXX does not remove accounts from credit bureaus and that I need to contact Capital One Auto Finance to request removal of the account from my credit reports based on the conditions of the settlement agreement. XXXX XXXX didnt honor Radius part of the settlement agreement to remove the Capital One Auto Finance account from my credit reports. XXXX XXXX collected the {$2000.00} from me but then was misleading regarding the removal of Capital One Auto Finance account from my credit reports. He negotiated with me utilizing deceptive acts and practices when he misled me to believe he would remove the Capital One Auto Finance account from my credit reports as a condition of the payoff settlement agreement.
So as instructed by XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Capital One Auto Finance and spoke with XXXX ID : XXXX who told me the Capital One Auto Finance account was not settled/closed and that Capital One Auto Finance is seeking an additional {$4000.00} to settle/close the account and remove it from my credit reports. I believe Capital One Auto Finance and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are violating the FCRA by attempting to double charge me for the same account. If Radius was collecting debt on behalf of Capital One Auto Finance, is it legal for Capital One Auto Finance to request an additional {$4000.00} settlement after I have settled with Radius? I am requesting Capital One Auto Finance honor the settlement agreement I made with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and remove the account from my credit reports.
Through the Maryland XXXX XXXX, I am currently an applicant for an apartment in a XXXX and XXXX community. After being on the waiting list for oveXXXX XXXX years I dont want to get an adverse decision because of the derogatory Capital One Auto Finance account on my credit reports.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my bank account was put on hold for {$2400.00} and a " legal fee '' was charged by the bank in the amount of {$120.00}. I spoke to XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX because my bank informed me they were the firm who provided them with a court order. I explained to XXXX that their information was inaccurate because the only Capital One credit card I have is currently active and in good standings, it's also a secured credit card. In prior years I had also had a Capital One bank account and if anything would have been linked to my name they would have informed me at the time. I NEVER received not a single document from this firm. Through my further investigation, I found that this same debt, I disputed when another collector attempted to collect on it. I filed a complaint against that collector and Capital One, in which Capital One responded with a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX.
In this letter Capital One states " We have reviewed our record and found that we are not reporting this account to any of the CRAs. Please note that your account charged off on XX/XX/XXXX, and was then placed with multiple collecting agencies. The first agency was XXXX, placed on XX/XX/XXXX, through XX/XX/XXXX. The account was then placed through the XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) with the firm XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. This firm was previously called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. We have contacted the firm to inform them of your concerns, and have updated their records with your request for a cease on collection efforts. They have no records of having speaking to you ''. I have also faxed this letter to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to the fax number she provided me which is ( XXXX ) XXXX. Capital One also states that this account was opened online and there was no signed copy of an application, which could explain why I was not aware of it. I acquired my first credit card in XX/XX/XXXXwhich happened to be a secured Capital One credit card. My information must have been stolen during the several times I lost my wallet throughout the years. Once again, I never received any form of communication from Capital One or XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding this matter until I saw it in my credit report and disputed it. I've forwarded my mail through USPS to wherever I lived and never did I receive correspondence for this and I did not live at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY XXXX, I'm contacting the credit bureaus in order to have this corrected.

Complaint: Capital One CC department and I have had on going issues throughout XX/XX/XXXX to current. With the ability to snoop cell phones, Capital One does have my phone on " tap '' and I don't know by whom. Over the past two months any online purchases/payments that I attempt to make have been rejected forcing me to go to the merchants. According to the " merchant sites '' my card is rejected.
1st incident is with XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX when I attempted to make a payment online. Rejected. Forced to drive, using my gas and time in order to complete my payment.
2nd incident is paying for gas. Rejected at the pump. I used the app, turned on the card. Card rejected again. Called the CS dept. They had to turn it on because the app malfunctioned. XX/XX/XXXX to JXX/XX/XXXX 3rd incident is purchasing my school book for college. Rejected by merchants site, which worked in XX/XX/XXXX, due to billing address is " XXXX XXXX XXXX and I was forced to take off wirk , drive 4 hours from XXXX to XXXX in order to purchase the required materials for college because suddenly my card isn't capable to function.
I spoke to representatives all day XX/XX/XXXX regarding the issue, accepting their excuse of blame shifting the issue to the merchant.
And this evening I reviewed my credit report, XXXX, and Capital One Credit Card company 1. Closed my card account ( by report only ) 2. Made false dispute claims 3. Has the exact same card open status. The closed & open account are the same, and the online transactions are matching with the closed report that was reported to XX/XX/XXXX, which explains the rejected transactions, that 'Capital One ' claims they have no record of, " On their end. '' I'm tired of their games. And I'm not closing my accounts so they can force me to have lower credit scores due to credit history of account length of time. This is a strategic game of Credit Score Manipulation. Length of Time for credit cards are a factor in calculating a credit score. I've trusted the bank over the years until XX/XX/XXXX since I discovered they use the snooping apps to listen in on consumers phones. And since I've confronted these issues, they are retaliating and causing me to lose time, money, hours at work, embarrassing moments with merchants and always forcing me to speak with Customer Service in the XXXX. I always have to Request a Transfer to USA Representatives. Always!
I'm at a point now where I can fight 100 %. Please help. I've done nothing to deserve this treatment. Thank you.
